We really enjoyed our stay in the Gallatin Getaway by the river! It was exactly what we expected from the photos and description. The location was excellent for going to/from Yellowstone and we had two fun days in Bozeman as well. Plenty of room for our two couples, beds were quite comfortable and the house had all the amenities that we needed. It was great to be able to park inside the garage. With the river so close, we tried our hand at fishing twice with no luck, but it was still fun to be outside enjoying the water and the view. The deck is a nice place to sit and read. From the photos, we knew about the taxidermy decor and it did not disappoint!! Made for fun conversation and exploring inside the house. Communication with the host was excellent and they responded very quickly to our questions/needs. We would stay here again, if in the area. It's a cozy house - just what you would expect near Yellowstone.

The home was great. It’s about an hour west Yellowstone entrance and about 20 min from Big Sky resort. The house was clean and very well appointed (but dated). My only gripe is the grass hadn’t been mowed in months. There is very little view of the river from the house due to how thick the vegetation is along the river. There is basically zero cell phone service at the cabins (At&T). Overall it was a great place.

The Riverfront home was an excellent place to stay for the past 5 days. CheckIn was easy and there were a few minor issues that popped up…communication to get these resolved was great. The location on the Gallatin River was perfect! The house was comfortable and met all my needs. My only suggestion would be to trim around the property and make it look like the pics shown here….the weeds were somewhat detracting to the appeal of the house. If this could be done then the home would be 10 out of 10 in my opinion. Right now I would rate it 9 out of 10.

Wonderful stay, looks just like the pictures. Very cozy and super close to the river. If you open a window at night you can hear the river and it’s very relaxing. We loved the taxidermy and that when we got there they had a bag of cookies on the counter with all the information we would need. We would absolutely stay there again.

cabin met our needs, had everything we needed. access to river was nice, but wasn't great for fishing. we found several spots to fish within a few miles.

The property was very clean and extremely well stocked. Communicatiin was awesome! Responded within an hour. The appliances are a little dated but it did not take away from a wonderful stay. We liked that the property is located on a major road yet still feels secluded. Just a few steps from the Gallatin river. You can hear the water from the back. Wonderful!

The cabin was wonderful just steps away from the river. The drive from Bozeman was very easy, straight down 191. The cabin was clean and had everything I needed for my stay. I loved the fact that I could use the garage, that was a lifesaver for when it snowed. I sat on the deck and just listened to the river and watched nature from my wonderful viewpoint. I fished for 3 days up and down the canyon, the water was beautiful, and the scenery spectacular. My fourth day there it snowed so I went to Big sky and caught one of the bonus weekend skiing days . Big Sky is about a 10 to 15 minute drive away. There are two gas stations in Big sky and a grocery store. The lady at the grocery store was very friendly and helpful. Checking in and checking out of the cabin was a breeze, no problems whatsoever. Cell service was a bit intermittent but the Wi-Fi was excellent and I had no problems making calls over the Wi-Fi. I would highly recommend this cabin if you're heading down towards Big Sky.

Overall

The place ia a hidden gem. Only feedback is not knowing what windows could be opened as most in main area are off the track (we left sticky notes). Wish they would have cut the grass in the back to make access to the river easier, had a marker so you can find the driveway easier, and the issue with the carpenter ants was not great, but the PM was quick to reply to our concerns. Outside of these small issues it was a wondeful and quiet place for a mountain get away.

Great place to stay on the Gallatin. Fantastic communication with the management company that handles everything, they were great. Our only issue was that we used the washer & dryer for the first time before we were flying home the following day. The washer didn’t spin the clothes very well, even after an additional spin cycle, and the dryer immediately made a horrible banging noise so we just had to pack up wet clothes in our suitcases. We also used the dishwasher for the first time and the washer pod was still partially used in the dispenser from previous use. The appliances look dated and that might have just been the problem. Fantastic location, fantastic master shower and super comfortable beds. Would definitely stay again
