Our Cottage, located in a quiet neighborhood, is a short walk or bike ride from beach access and two miles from the heart of Caseville. Enjoy your day at the beach and evenings around the bonfire in our spacious yard shaded by giant Oak and Maple trees. Our additional outdoor amenities include a large picnic table, patio chairs, and even a sandbox for young children to enjoy. Inside, you will find our fully furnished cottage provides a welcoming space for a relaxing family getaway.

Perfect amount of space for our family weekend. The neighborhood was quiet, the house was clean, and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach and the fire pit.

Lovely Visit

Enjoyed our stay! Check-in was easy, and there were plenty of towels, supplies in kitchen, and space for my family and in-laws. We liked the peaceful, woodsy location and the natural light from the skylight windows upstairs.

Completely enjoyed ourselves! Only concern was beach access being farther than we anticipated...we are seniors. Home had everything for an extended stay. We appreciated the cleanliness. Nice home.

Great place to stay

My sisters and I rented whispering oaks cottage for a weekend. The cottage is spotless and has everything you need. All of the rooms and bathrooms were large especially the master bedroom. The host was extremely helpful and friendly and accommodated everything we asked for. We will definitely rent this cottage again

(Thumb vacation

Overall we were satisfied with our stay. The cottage was clean and the bedrooms were all large. The recliners in the living room were nice. We weren’t a big fan of the loveseat sleeper for sitting as there were 4 adults and it’s very firm. Plenty of room for kids to run around outside. It is a bit of a walk to the beach area and down a slope. Due to an elderly person we had with us, we opted to use the county park beach which is large and only a mile or so away.Overall it was a nice stay.Btw- not sure why but there was no hot water in the main bathroom sink. Wasn’t a huge deal for us, but in case someone wants to check out why.

Best vacation to date

We stayed to celebrate lifelong friends 50th birthdays including my own. The property was better than we could have imagined and the beach access was amazing. We made a plan that this is something we will do ever summer at Rachel's rental.

Beautiful Property

This is a great place to stay in Caseville. Owner are very accommodating, Very clean home short walk to the beach( We had little ones so bring a wagon if you have lots to carry).We will definitely rent again House was well equipped beds were very comfortable yard was cute with picnic area bonfire pit. Beach was very nice great shallow water for the kids Thank You Whispering Oaks!! We will be back!!

Caseville Family Vacation

The property was nice and comfortable enough. There are some things around the house that could use a little updating like the coffee maker and some of the furniture. The owner did say they plan on getting a new coffee maker and plan on doing some more updating to the place.

5 stars all the way around.

My family and I absolutely enjoyed our stay. The description of the property was spot on. Short walk to a small cute beach. Super close to town. Very clean and spacious. Was my first time booking a VRB0, so I didn't fully know what to expect. I would definitely recommend booking this cottage.

Great little getaway

We had a great time with family at this rental. It is is tucked into the woods a little. There’s a king bed on the main floor with full bath, and upstairs there’s two double beds and a full. The beds were all very comfortable. It’s a short walk to the private beach. We went there and watched the sunset one night. Disclaimer: There are no body soaps or shampoos/conditioner available for guests. They do supply teas and coffee bags.

Father’s Day Weekend

Absolutely had a fabulous time with family. It was great to watch the sunset on the beach and spend a cold June day around a campfire. The town of Caseville was great to explore. I highly recommend checking out the Lemon Tree and Cottage Outfitters. We also had a great time at the Port Austin Farmers market and hiking the trails (on the dunes leading to the lakeshore) next to the new Dark Sky restaurant near Port Crescent State Park. All and all a great cottage in a great location. Also the host was 100% responsive and a pleasure to speak to virtually. I highly recommend!

Hello and welcome to our cottage! My wife and I have two daughters that are full of lots of joy and energy. We love to go for walks as a family and travel around the world. We are Michigan natives so we love to enjoy all that our beautiful area has to offer. It is our hope that your time at our cottage will be enjoyable and a peaceful place to stay.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

We love our cottage for it's quaint setting, surrounded by beautiful, tall oak and maple trees. We also love the location as we are just minutes from downtown Caseville and a short walk to our 'sugar sand' beach. The skylights upstairs provide natural lighting into the home and a beautiful view of the stars above at night. The wood stove in the dining room (although unusable) creates a warm and cozy ambiance as well as the handcrafted wooden beams in the living room.
