Welcome to the Treehouse! This centrally located duplex is close to downtown yet in a quiet neighborhood situated right on the Pikes Peak Greenway Trail. You will have total privacy in this top unit home, with a fully fenced side yard. Relax in the yard after a day of adventuring, kick back and enjoy streaming using the Roku TV, then sleep comfortably as each bedroom has a king size bed. Our hope is for you to have the most enjoyable and relaxing stay possible, and we have prepared the home so you will have everything you need while you are here. (Short Term Rental Permit Number: STR-1714)
Kitchen
Inside the front door, you will find a fully equipped eat-in kitchen with everything you will need to cook meals during your stay. You will have tea, coffee, cream, and sugar available. The kitchen is also stocked with pots, pans, bowls, a strainer, utensils, fridge, gas range and oven, microwave, toaster, Keurig, blender, waffle maker, mixer and an electric kettle. Salt, pepper and other spices are in the cabinets along with all the dishes you will need for a comfortable stay. Cleaning supplies and extra trash bags are under the sink.
Living Room
Adjacent to the Kitchen, you'll find a cozy living room to sit back and relax after a long day of exploring. The living room boasts a Roku television and local channels as well as games and books to keep you entertained. There is a comfortable sectional sofa with chaise, lamp for reading, and nesting coffee tables.
Bedrooms
KING SIZE BEDS in all three bedrooms, so no one has to compromise on space and comfort. We provide high quality bedding, plenty of pillows in varying firmness, and fresh linens for your comfort. There are room darkening blinds for sleeping in while on vacation. Each room has a closet with hangers along with luggage racks and/or dressers to hold your belongings. Two bedrooms have window AC units in the summer months.
Bathroom
The bathroom features a bathtub/shower combo. We provide fresh towels, washcloths, hand towels, and makeup cloths as well as spa quality shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap. We also provide cotton balls, cotton swabs, and a few extra rolls of toilet paper. There is a hair dryer, plunger and toilet brush, and a small stepstool for your little ones (stored to the left of the washer and dryer).
Laundry
Washer and dryer in the laundry room, stocked with a few complimentary laundry detergent, iron, ironing board, broom, dustpan and mop.
Outdoor
There is an inviting deck at the front entrance, table and chairs, and string lights that operate on a solar panel. The side yard is fenced and private, with comfortable chairs circled around a propane firepit for relaxing after a day well spent. (Pictured hot tub is currently out of order)
Children
We have a variety of children’s items for your little ones. There are kids’ plates, food trays, bowls, and tumblers in the kitchen. There is a pack n play, highchair, baby monitor, and baby bath. There is a small step stool to the left of the washer and dryer, and a basket of toys in the living room.
PETS -- (Dogs Only, 2+years old, Max of 2, Pet Fee applies at booking)
This is a dog-friendly listing, for dogs who qualify. If you have questions about pet expectations, please message me prior to booking, thank you!
Please only book with your pet as a guest, if you agree with the following:
1) 2+ years old, max of 2 dogs
2) Crating encouraged at night and if left alone
3) Clean up after dogs, even outside. If cleaner must gather poop in the yard, a fine may apply.
4) Keep dogs off of furniture, especially the white linens.
5) Damage from pets will result in loss of deposit and potential further action.
6) If rules are not followed, you may be asked to board your dog.
Business travel
We provide fast wifi at 150 mbps, keyless entry, and a smart speaker for our business travelers. There is a workspace in the primary bedroom with a desk and lamp.
Guest Access
Guests will have exclusive access to the top level of the home and the fully fenced North side yard. A unique keycode will be sent to guests on the day of arrival.
Parking
The most convenient parking is off the back alley; there is ample space and a designated space marked for your unit. If you prefer to park on the street in front, that is also an option, but access to the house will be around the back to the North. Please use your side yard on the north side of the house when walking from the front street to your entrance at the back of the home. *Please note, if there is snow forecast, and you don't have 4-wheel drive, parking in front is strongly recommended.*
Other Things to Note
There is another residence on the bottom level of this duplex. That unit has its own private fenced in yard and also may park in the back. It's likely you won't see or hear much of them, but we ask you to be as considerate as possible, especially since they live below.
Additional fees: We have put so much work into making your stay perfect, and we value the time we have between guests to prepare for future guests. Please note that there are minimal fees for guaranteed early check ins or late check outs to cover the expenses of reworking the schedule or adding an additional cleaner to the schedule to accommodate your request. Please message us ahead of time for pricing.
Smoking in accordance with Colorado law is permitted outside on the patio. There is no smoking anything (tobacco, marijuana, vaping) inside the home - loss of security deposit will occur.
