In the week prior to your arrival, we responded to a high volume of messages and requests, and provided detailed information and assistance well beyond what is typically required, including items that are normally handled automatically through the websites platform. Our goal was to ensure you felt fully prepared and comfortable ahead of your stay. As clearly stated in the listing, the property does not offer wheelchair access and includes stairs. At the time of booking, we were not made aware of any mobility concerns. Had this been communicated earlier, we would have strongly recommended a more suitable property. We also offered a refund prior to arrival should the property not meet your needs. For this reason, the low rating does not reflect the level of communication, transparency, and effort provided. We were also particularly surprised as your final message to us indicated that you had enjoyed your stay. We always aim to be fair and accommodating hosts, and we believe future hosts would benefit from being aware of the level of pre-arrival support and communication that may be expected.
