Private, spacious and airy Studio with the extra space {12m2} of a partially covered balcony, over a garage in Pukehina. Views of the white sand ocean beach and shallow tidal estuary. Hear the waves as you relax. NO WiFi. Pukehina is often described as "Paradise created by Nature" and we believe it certainly is!
En-suite bathroom (shower). Closet. 2 single beds that can be pushed together. Full sized dining table inside and on the balcony. Linen and towels provided.
No kitchen sink but basic utensils and facilities to make hot drinks (tea, coffee, sugar, fresh milk provided), toast or heat ready-to-eat pre-prepared or frozen meals in a microwave. Drying rack for clothes.

Dog friendly non-leash beach and estuary, only the bird sanctuary, beyond the surf club is a no dog area.
Private entrance to Studio. Large garage available for storage. Off street parking in driveway. Not overlooked by main house. Walk past owner's home to a grassed area with chairs and down sand ladder to beach. Outside hot shower and hose available for use after beach activities. Body boards available.
Monty's Cafe and Bar, just a short walk from the Studio, serve meals, coffee and occasionally a band for entertainment. A dairy at the start of the Parade is well stocked and provides takeaway meals.
Outdoor activities are water sports, bird watching, a sports field, boat ramp, tennis court, skate park, BMX track, flying fox, several children's play areas and in season Surf Lifesaving. A level footpath, approximately 6 km runs along the entire length of the no exit peninsula. Street lighting. A popular wedding venue.

Closest shopping is Te Puke (kiwifruit capital of the world) or Pāpāmoa, which provide all needs. Tourist attractions of Whakatane, Maketū, Mount Maunganui and Rotorua are close by.

If you are seeking a beach location that is more peaceful than Papamoa Beach or Mount Maunganui in a rustic setting then this is the perfect spot for you. Please note there is no Internet but phone reception is good, there are steps up to the Studio and a slope down to the beach and road.
