Pet friendly historic Tecumseh House is full of updates and original charm, and is just a ten minute walk to the square and downtown. Ultra fast Wi-Fi. Each room has its remote controlled heating and cooling.

Main level features original 1888 heart pine floors. Main bedroom has Queen sized bed and French doors opening out onto large covered deck. Full bathroom with clawfoot bathtub original to house (1888) with washer and dryer, and full kitchen with dishwasher, Keurig, and toaster oven.

Super cool and unique attic/ loft includes 2 full sized beds, a workspace, and a 3 story balcony overlooking backyard and the Maple Heights neighborhood. Backyard is fully fenced and pet friendly.

Walkout basement has its own patio door entrance, and features a 2nd living room with mini kitchen, brand new bathroom with shower, all new flooring, bedroom with queen sized bed, a love seat couch with pull out bed, and plenty of natural light.

Tecumseh House is net zero energy. Its solar panel array produces enough energy to power the entire house.

College visit

This property was very close to the campus at the University of Indiana. I chose a primarily because it allowed pets :-). Check in process was very easy and owner was very communicative!

Unique House

Extremely unique house. Interesting decor. Clawfoot shower pipes leaks bad (4stars-overall). Outdoor spaces not very inviting to spend anytime (4 stars-clean). Place served its purpose for the weekend. Would stay here again.

Everything needed plus more

This is second time I've booked this home. It isn't going to be the last either. Very pleased with the space, price and location. The decor is one of a kind and all dishes and linens were fresh and clean.

Bloomington Classic

Visiting Indiana University on a college tour with my daughter. This was more space than we needed but affordable compared to hotels given it was a busy weekend on campus. I'd totally stay here again. If your a super tall person, the shower might be cramped for you. And, I personally don't love clawfoot baths for showering purposes. And, there was no heat in one of the bathrooms which made it fairly cool relative to the rest of the VRBO. I'd stay here again but if you need new and modern, i'm not sure this is the place for you.

Great location for our stay

We attended the IU basketball game and then met a family member for dinner on the square. The house was a short drive to Assembly Hall and to the square. Quiet neighborhood. Easy to communicate with host.

Great hangout space

Great hangout space. We were there for a ballgame, and we had different people coming from all over to meet up. The kitchen / living room was perfect for just hanging out.I would add curtains to a few more of the doors / windows for privacy. I was able to find extra sheets to use.Thanks!

Great for our 2 day stay!

We came into town for a Sunday afternoon basketball game and stayed two days so I could show my family around campus. This was a perfect place for us. My kids all had a comfy bed to sleep on. It was conveniently located to Assembly Hall and the heart of campus. We did drive everywhere since it was December and the students were off for break- which made parking easy! Everything we needed was provided in the house. The house itself and the decor was very Bloomington! We would stay again next time we are down for a game!

Eclectic and unique

Overall, we loved our visit here. Bed on main floor was uncomfortable. It's a very clean property and I loved the mix of antiques and modern elements. I would stay again.

Short stay in Bloomington

We visited IU for my daughter’s graduation with my parents and inlaws. This facility worked great for our stay. Host was a great communicator and knew we were coming late so they had the entry way lit for us, that was very nice for entry. The house was very warm and cozy. The Easy access from the street was nice for the grandparents as there were no stairs to climb and it was a very short walk from the car. The street was not busy and was easy to pull onto and off of to leave or access the facility. For the price of the weekend I have no complaints. We will use this facility again in future visits to Bloomington.

Charming and Comfortable!!

We enjoyed staying in this house very much. Immaculately clean and communication with the owner was top notch. Well laid out floor plan and didn’t feel cramped or crowded at all. We would stay here again when we come back.

Great Stay

This place is great!! It suited my family's IU visit for the weekend wonderfully! Christopher was very responsive! We would stay again! The house is really cool and comfortable. It was a cold weekend, and we lots of heat!! Thank you!

Roomy , cozy decor

House is quite large with plenty of space for large groups. Kitchen well equipped. We accidently locked ourselves out of the house and we called the host who promptly helped us, and got us an extra key right away extra key right away
