Kanaloa at Kona #2203: Inside, you’ll find a bright living area with generous seating and a large flat screen television, perfect for entertaining your friends and family! The suite’s full size galley kitchen has Koa wood cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, Caesarstone counter space, a breakfast bar, and an adjacent dining area with seating for six, chandelier, and island art.

One bedroom offers two twin beds, night stands, a dresser, and a TV. The master bedroom, furnished with one large bed has lots of natural light, a large closet, semi-private desk area and TV. The master bathroom has a vanity, double sink, and walk-in rain shower. The other bathroom also has double sinks and a large stand-up rain shower. Sleeps four guests.

For your safety, there are smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detection systems.

Other amenities include a washer/dryer, cable, Netflix, Prime video, Mesh Wi-Fi with high-speed internet, and ceiling fans in every room. Kitchen equipment is very complete.

Lovely stay

My family of 4 had a nice time at this property. It was beautifully remodeled and well appointed. Great location on the water and close to the pool.

What an excellent condo!

It was absolutely beautiful and looked better in person. It was clean and quiet with nothing but the crashing waves. Will stay there any time I’m in Kona!

Beautiful property

The unit we rented at Kanaloa was perfect. We enjoyed watching the stunning sunsets from the comfortable lanai each evening. The property is well maintained and the unit was beautiful. We were so glad we chose this location.

Beautiful ocean front stay

The place is remodeled, spacious and right on the ocean front. Watching sunset on the lanai and listening to the waves crashing are great. The snorkeling trip meet-up place is only 5 mins away from this place. The supermarket is only a few minutes away as well. Very convenient location. Will definitely stay here again

Exceeded our expectations!

This place is even nicer in person than it looks in the photos. The entire property is well-kept and peaceful. This particular unit was very nicely built with quality materials, furnished beautifully, and equipped with everything you'd need. We were surprised at just how big the entire unit was. Plenty of space for our family to relax and enjoy our stay. Can't recommend this place enough!

Wonderful

This unit is in prime position. We loved sitting on our balcony watching the sunset or by the ocean pool. It was the perfect location to explore the big island and we would recommend it highly. Check you don’t get the dodgy aircon key. Once we swapped it we had no problem with the air conditioning. The front office were very helpful and friendly. Aloha and mahalo.

Fantastic stay in Kona!

We enjoyed an awesome week in the Big Island anchored by this wonderful condo. The pictures don’t quite do it justice. The view and furnishings are fantastic. Figuring out the A/C was a little tricky (note A/C must be requested specifically and comes at an extra charge) but we did find well-documented instructions in the condo binder after we had gotten it to work and stay on. We didn’t spend much time using the resort amenities as we had daily adventures exploring the island but multiple pools are located close to the unit and the tennis courts were in frequent use by pickleballers. It was great to be able to park steps away from the condo’s front door. An awesome beach for snorkeling is minutes away (by car). We’d highly recommend this unit if you’re looking to stay near Kona.

For the most part we were very happy with the unit. Location was perfect. Our stay was awesome.

There was a handicap stair chair lift that was a great idea, but was not operational. We had two elderly women that could have benefited from this chair. It did limit access when carrying heavy luggage. The showers were equipped with grab bars which was beneficial for the elderly. We did enjoy our stay and the only reason we gave it a 4/5 was we thought it would have been nice to have a few more essentials like tea towels, second set of bath towels, more than 2 rolls of toilet paper etc. After requesting from housekeeping we did receive more towels and tea towels. Also the cleanliness is not the owner’s fault but it could use a deep cleaning couple times during the year. (Spider webs behind doors, good vacuum behind couches and baseboards, cleaning of carpets) If the opportunity comes we will definitely rent this unit again, as the location is 1 bldg away from the ocean pool and has a view to die for. The unit was very quiet and restful. Thank you Dale and staff at Kanaloa at Kona for a lovely stay and beautiful grounds.

Beautifully renovated condo with stunning views

My family and I enjoyed our recent 2 night stay here. The condo is completely renovated and there are lovely, thoughtful touches throughout. The master bedroom and bathroom is spacious, and the kitchen /dining area is perfect for relaxing or entertaining. However, the best part was the spectacular view of the ocean from the balcony. It's a beautiful spot to catch the sunset, and in the early morning we spotted a humpback whale and a pod of bottlenose dolphins - amazing! This was by far our favorite area of the condo and most enjoyed during our stay. Though the cost was fairly nominal, it seemed odd to tack on another charge for A/V. However, it was 100% worth it. When we first entered the unit, it was a balmy 90 degrees and took a few hours to cool down to a reasonable temperature. To note, the A/V will turn off every time an exterior door is opened and kick back on once they're closed. We had the opportunity to utilize the ocean pool and hot tub one night, both of which were well maintained. Overall, this is a great location from which to drive south to Volcano, east to Hilo, or north to Waimea and up the Kohala Coast. Management was also responsive to an earlier request to adjust our dates, which was appreciated. Highly recommend this property for your Kona adventures!

Kona Paradise

Perfect location to center your Kona activities. Can't beat the view. Multiple pools. Nicely updated with everything you'll need to enjoy. One thing to note, if you check in after hours and want AC you'll need to let them know ahead of time so you can get your key for the AC. We all thoroughly enjoyed out time here and would use again if we find ourselves back in Kona. Aloha!!

A little piece of paradise

This property was a dream come true. Everything is completely updated and immaculate, it is bright and airy, the perfect location, and has amazing views. We were here for 10 days and wish we could have stayed longer. We will be back!
