Fabulous pond and mountain views
Unwind in Dorset at this charming cottage, with 2 cozy bedrooms - one with a full bed and the other with two twin beds, and an additional twin bed in the entry/mudroom room area (not a separate bedroom). We use the guest house when our children and grandchildren come to visit. It is a rustic, cozy cottage with ample space for four. Enjoy the convenience of amenities like a washing machine/dryer, AC, heating, and WiFi during your stay. The open floor plan allows for a bright and airy living space Fully stocked kitchen for all your cooking needs Rustic hardwood floors with area rugs Relax on the two person outdoor swing overlooking Deming Pond Stunning Mountain and Pond views
Perfect location in proximity to great hiking trails, skiing (Stratton, Bromley and Magic Mtn) and swimming at Emerald Lake and the Dorset Quarry. We are 2 miles to the Vermont Summer Festival / HITS
OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE: The woodstove is not available for use but we have heat pumps in the house which supply heat and air conditioning.
There are no doors in the bedrooms as it is more of a lofted area. There is a sheer curtain that can be draped across the doorway for privacy. We also have room dividers we can arrange to have available for you if you prefer.
Our home is on the same property within view of the guest house. We are respectful of your privacy, yet will be available if you need anything.
The two acre property is not fenced and the North side is bordered by a well traveled road. The East side is bordered by a 7 acre pond. We are not surrounded by woods. We would like folks aware of this especially with small children or pets.
There are several designated parking areas which are indicated in the exterior pictures on this post.
