The house was just what I needed. The house being both pet and kid friendly was a huge bonus. Skycapps was clean and welcoming. The host was great and checked to see if there was anything we needed. If I ever find myself back in the area this is where I will stay!
We had a wonderful stay at this charming country home. Itâs simple, cozy, and just what we needed for a quiet escape from the city. The house was clean, well-kept, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.We loved sitting on the back porch in the evenings, listening to the sounds of nature and watching the stars. The surrounding area is beautiful and peaceful. We were able to see deer come very close to the home. Itâs close enough to town for a grocery run and restaurants, but far enough to feel completely unplugged. If you're looking for a no-fuss, restful retreat in the countryside, this is it. Weâd definitely come back!
The location was just outside of town but just minutes to town to get what was needed. I stayed here for moving my son for NALTC school. Perfect spot and the hike was extremely clean!
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. We were in town for a wedding and this stay was so homey and much nicer than a hotel stay would have been. The property was exactly as described and pictured and our host Karin was easy to reach and very helpful. Will stay here again if we come back!
We stayed for a weekend for a wedding. It was perfect for what we needed. We had some people come over after the wedding and there was plenty of parking for everyone. It was quite comfy and if we ever need a place to stay in that area again, we will be back. Thank you!
We moved our son down to begin training at NALTC. The house was conveniently located near him and to everything we needed. Waverly and Dickson were only a hop skip and jump away.
The location was very quiet and we had all items needed right there.
Karin provided all information and easy to communicate with. Thank you for the great stay! We were disappointed itâs not available for his graduation in December.
We stayed for our sonâs graduation at nearby NALTC. It was conveniently located close to the school. Property had the basics, was clean and comfy. We would stay again!
This is a very clean and quiet home. The fenced in yard was great for our little dog Max. Close to town if you feel the need. The owner was very nice and responsive. We came to see Loretta Lynn's ranch which is a short drive away and had a late breakfast at Carol's Restaurant in Waverly. We enjoyed our stay immensely, thank you!
Myself and family stayed at this wonderful little spot for one week. Karin was very quick to respond to any questions that I had before we arrived.. It had everything we needed in the kitchen, a washer and dryer, as well as internet for a few work things that I had to do. I would stay here again!
We walked into a clean quiet home. The back porch faced the woods and we spent most of our time there enjoying the peacefulness. Close to town if you feel the need. Thanks to the owner for sharing her home away from all the busy-ness.
My son lives in Waverly Tenn. He had to come home for a memorial service, so I took off work to take him back home. We had a great few nights in the house!! It was very clean!! Every thing you needed and most of all I couldâve brought my dog!! Next time I will!!
Karin was greatâŠ.very glad I found this place!!!
Karin is super sweet. This little place was perfect for my wedding weekend. My sister and another bridesmaid stayed with me the night before as well as my dog. New hubby and I had it for a few more nights after and it was just perfect. Secluded, clean, quiet, etc. just perfect!
We were in town for our son's wedding nearby at The Ruskin. This was the perfect place for us to enjoy some family time between all of the wedding activities. The home is beautiful and accurately listed. We loved the back porch and the huge master bathroom was so helpful as we were getting ready.
The house was perfect for our family of four. Both teens had their own room, which was a huge plus. The house was spotless. We loved being able to cook our own meals. So much better than spending several days in a cramped hotel room!
Also, the congregation at the McEwen church of Christ was so welcoming. They will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
We rented this property for our revival speakers at our church and their kids. They absolutely loved it! They homeschooled during the day, so it gave them plenty of room to move, relax, and do the things they needed to do. They told us they would stay there again if they just needed some time to get away. They loved it! The check in/out process was very easy and the host was a delight. We will definitely be using this rental again for all of our church guests needs!
I live on the property in a separate building and am the Humphreys County Tourism Director. I'm also a Realtor, just in case you love this area so much, you'd like to own some property here.
This can be your home away from home if you're here working, visiting, or playing. Fully furnished, so that you'll feel at home.
Although we do not hold the property open 24 hours between guests, we do allow a minimum of 6 hours and the cleaners follow strict protocols to clean then sanitize the entire house.
Private. If you want to have a get-together and a bonfire, this is just the place. You can walk down by the seasonal creek, or just enjoy the quiet. Paths are cut so dirt bikes and 4-wheelers are welcome. I am pet-friendly.
