Excellent getaway

This property has amazing views and the resort offers excellent amenities. Clint’s home had everything we needed for a comfortable stay! The distance into Kelowna/Vernon was a bit of a damper for us but if you plan to stay on the resort then it won’t be a problem. We would book Clint’s property again in a heartbeat.

Perfect summer stay!

We loved the decks, front and back. The kitchen was well equipped and made it easy to prep all of our meals to enjoy on the deck. The girls loved the pools, mini golf, and floating trampolines on the beach. The house was big enough to spread out a bit. Our kids spent some evenings playing games on the back deck while we enjoyed the views from the front. Our host was easy to contact and responsive.

Perfect for our Family & pet friendly. Central to all amenities.

We found this property clean and well stocked with almost everything we needed. Almost, means a few conveniences we did not bring from home - however, literally we were told to just bring our food and beverages and really that’s all you need. Of course we brought extras - but that would not have been a deal breaker had we not. There was even a second fridge/freezer in the garage which was convenient for 3 families. (I appreciated this) We were able to use the toys and floaties in the garage for the water and mini golf. There were plenty of chairs and even a high chair for the baby. The property is close to the amenities and very central to everything - for an extra charge you can rent the host’s golf cart, which is handy if you are wanting to trek down to the beach with small children. We spent most of our time at Fintry Provincial Park as we had our seadoos and it was a little more Sandy for the small ones. (3 minutes from the resort) The beach for the resort has many beach chairs and decks at the water, and a trampoline water park but more of a rocky beach. Centrally located from our rental was a 60 second walk to the pool and hot tubs, tennis, mini golf and basketball, the store, a restaurant (we did not take advantage of) and the office for rentals. (There is a second quieter pool at the top of the resort too) The resort was well lit, and we felt it was very safe for lots of young families as well. It was pleasant being able to sit on the deck and enjoy the view at 6am, super peaceful and at night still being able to see the water, seeing families out on scooters, golf carts or just out for a walk. We were even privy to a few thunderstorm shows. Clint our host was very communicative with any questions we had and responded promptly. The house is fully air conditioned and was a nice reprieve when we returned from the lake. The back two bedrooms were cooler than the loft upstairs - recommendation would to have a blanket in each room for people that get cooler in the evening (Again first world problems) There was an additional bedroom downstairs in the garage with washroom. This property worked well for our family getaway. We had 3 couples, a 9, 4, & 2 year old and a 9 month old. The closet in the loft worked as a great little bedroom for our 9 y/o grandson. We will definitely be returning.

Week with family

Easy communication with host. Property as we expected. Brought our boat and had a boat slip for the week. Relaxing time. Had no issues. Close to the pool for the small kids. We will be visiting Lacasa again

Lots of hiking close by, walk down to lake if your in shape otherwise rent golf cart

Property was good for a group that moves together getting up and going to sleep. Noise level difficult to keep down as common area is small. Out door deck is the place to be but needs protection from rain in the fall. Drive from the city is a bit torturous if your not experienced with narrow winding roads. It was a fun drive except at night.

Space for everyone

We had a really good time. Enjoyed the golf cart a lot! Went to fintry park lake each day. Ate most our meals on the deck. We appreciated having a space for each of us. 3 couples and 1 teenager. It is a lengthy walk to the lake but close to pool and store. Store carries very little so make sure to bring what you need. This kitchen and unit was very well stocked with all the necessities. Kitchen could use some organizing as it was hard to find items and some of the bedding should be replaced. If sleeping in the king loft, early Sun is bright and there are no window coverings. Bring eye masks if this is an issue. Very quiet at night. We had issue with the quality of the cleanliness/cleaning job when we arrived but felt the owner dealt with our concerns promptly. Overall a very pleasant stay!

Perfect rental

Clint was super responsive anytime I contacted him. Super friendly and accommodating to all our needs and questions. Beautiful house. Clean and bright. Super close to pool and mini golf. I added on the rental of his golf cart and my grandkids thought I was the coolest grandma ever. Great stereo with speaker system through house and garage and both decks. Plenty of room for kids to play on front or back decks. Lots of floaties, tennis racquet, golf clubs for mini golf. The resort is just fabulous. No need to go anywhere else. Pools, hot tubs, playground, cute little general store and restaurant on site. Fabulous private beach with lots of chairs and recliners snd trampolines in the water. 24 hour security. Cute little chipmunks and marmots, and deer. Super great spot! Will definitely rent again. Thank you Clint for sharing your beautiful home!

Great family vacation

This cottage was absolutely amazing for my family of 8 humans and 2 dogs. The house is spacious and the decks are great to hang out and have beers and just soak in the sun and the views. Our dogs loved walking around the cottages and down to the lake. Everything we could need was available. The view was amazing and it was great to wake up with the sun shinning on the lake. If I had to really find a flaw ( believe me I had to really really really get thinking for it) is that the drive in to La Casa is windy and a little scary. As long as windy roads and wild life thinking they own it sometimes doesn't bother you then you will be fine. ALL I can say is THE DRIVE IS WORTH THE VIEW. If you plan on doing things around Kelowna then this is something to think about. If you are planning on a vacation just chilling by the lake and no dinning out then this is a great place to be. I had stayed at La Casa before so I knew about the driving and how far it is from Kelowna. The rest of my family didn't and by the end of our stay they were tired of driving down the windy road.

Beautiful and so homey!

My family and I were so happy to have the chance to spend Christmas together and this house was just perfect! The layout was nice and the kitchen was easy to cook all of our meals. Thanks to Clint for making us feel welcome and was so accommodating. The weather was dreadful but we all felt warm and cozy inside this beautiful house!!

Great place for a family vacation.

Clint's house was very comfortable and spacious. We didn't get a chance to use the decks much, too cold out, but the fact there are two of them gives lot of option for sitting. Only thing missing was some ambient lighting in the the livingroom. The overhead lights were harsh. Clint was prompt answering all my questions. Thumbs up!

Relaxing Week!

We enjoyed our week at Lacasa. The location was great, very close to the pool and ammenties. The deck was large with a great view. The house was spacious. We were able to rent a spot for our boat at the marina for the week. Everyone we met during our stay was so friendly and helpful! We would recommend this property.

We enjoyed our stay at Clint's La Casa property.

Clint was very responsive to all our questions about his property. It was exactly as described and was very close to the pool, playground, mini golf, tennis courts and store. It suited our family of 6 adults, a 16 month old and a 5 month old.

Excellent!

Very nice place and it was exactly as advertised. Clint was great to deal with and it was in a great spot, close to the pool and other amenities. La Casa has a great atmosphere and we really enjoyed our stay.

After a very long drive from Calgary we finally arrived at Clint's place late on a Friday night. We were very happy to find a very spacious and well stocked home that has everything you need during your stay. Close to the pool, tennis courts and mini golf area, the resort has lots of amenities but make sure you take the bare essentials as the shop doesnt open until 12 pm and has limited supplies off season until late June. The prices are also high compared to local supermarkets. The units air conditioning was a little noisy and I couldnt find the air hockey it mentioned in the description but the view was wonderful with sun on the front deck in the morning and evening. Great outdoor space with large barbecue and lots of seating. There is also a golf cart available to rent if you dont want to walk as the walk to the beach is quite long.

The house was great! Exactly what we expected.

We had a great stay in La Casa! The main house was exactly what we expected. The "suite" in the garage is really just a room and bathroom, with a fridge and sink in the garage (it's still a garage). It worked well for what we needed though. We loved the fact that there was a pool, mini golf, and tennis all available at no extra cost. A great vacation place!

Beautiful and inviting home!

Beautiful roomy home. Great view of the lake and tones of natural light.

Our ladies spent a full week at this lakefront property. Sleeps 8 comfortably. Huge patio. The drive into Kelowna is approximately 45 minutes and the roads are a little scary. Lots of road constructions which will close the roads twice a day but not on the weekend.

Great weekend away.

Cottage is located on a great lot within LasCasa Resort. Close to pool, hot tub, beach volley ball, mini put, and tennis courts. Perfect for a family getaway. Highly recommend. Clean, comfortable and the owner was great to deal with.
