☆☆ BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS ☆☆ There are three stylish bedrooms, one king-size bed and two with comfortable queen beds. Two spacious bathrooms, en suite is renovated and has a beautiful walk in tile shower, tall vanity. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, blow dryer, extra toilet paper and trash bags are all provided.
☆☆ KITCHEN & DINING ☆☆ The home features an open kitchen with a large refrigerator, deep stainless steel sink, glass electric stove top, oven and microwave. The dining area offers a buffet counter for serving or mixing cocktails and has plenty of room to comfortably host family dinners. We provide everything you'll need to cook and clean up after a delicious family meal including cookware, dishes, utensils, dishwasher pods, cutting boards, cookie sheets, and more. The dining table can comfortably seat four people with two more at the kitchen counter.
☆☆ LIVING ROOM with Smart TV ☆☆ Large open living area is equipped with a 55-inch smart TV to stream all your favorite shows, as well as a comfortable leather sectional and cozy reading chair, a collection of board games, and magazines!
☆☆ OUTSIDE SPACE ☆☆ While there are plenty of outdoor activities nearby, the house also provides its own outdoor space for guests to enjoy. There are plenty of seating areas for guests to sip morning coffee or enjoy a glass of wine as the sun goes down. There's a front porch with table and chairs and a large deck overlooking the wooded backyard! Need storage? We’ve got that covered too. There is a large shed in the backyard if you need to store bikes, or extra items for longer stays.
☆☆ Other Things to Note ☆☆ -The ice maker in the fridge does NOT work so we have provided (4) ice trays. -The kitchen and living room lights are a little funky so we’ve labeled them. -The porch light is on a night time motion sensor. -To access the hose faucet in the backyard pull up on the trap door in the deck. -Our home is situated on a spacious wooded lot. While we take pride in keeping the property clean and well-maintained, please be aware that occasional encounters with nature—like spotting a bug or two—are possible. This is a normal part of life in a wooded area, and we appreciate your understanding!
☆☆ Safety ☆☆ Your safety matters. So we have outfitted the property with smoke and carbon monoxide detectors as well as fire extinguisher and first aid kit.
You will have private access to the entire home for the duration of your stay, including the outdoor spaces. The only exception is the tree-house in the backyard and wood burning fireplace are both off limits. Sorry!
We comply with and exceed all COVID-19 VRBO sanitizing regulations and take extra measures to sanitize ALL bedding (including pillows) with enhanced steam sanitation between each guest.

DO NOT leave doors or windows open without screens. DO NOT run HVAC with doors and/or windows open. LOCK all windows and doors when you leave the home. NO candles, incense or other flammable objects. DO NOT cook or prepare meals in any room other than the kitchen. DO NOT tamper with the Wi-Fi. DO NOT tamper with external cameras. Overnight guests must be on the reservation. Exception requests must be communicated to the host in advance. We love our four-legged friends but… -DOGS must be in a crate when you are not home. -DOGS must be on leash at all times when outside the fenced yard. -DO NOT leave dogs in the backyard when you are not home. -If allowed on furniture, please cover furniture with YOUR dog blankets. -Guest needs to inquire first before booking for stays more than 30 nights.

House was lovely and exceptionally clean. Host was accessible, friendly, helpful and accommodating for our family and pets. Comfortable Stay Close to Everything
We really enjoyed our stay here. It's clean, comfortable, and in a quiet neighborhood with quick access to restaurants, entertainment, and the highway. It was a relief to have a vacation rental that has blackout curtains so your sleep isn't disturbed by street lights or early sunshine. Meal prep was easy since cookware and cooking utensils were available and there were plenty of plates/bowls/cups/eating utensils. We appreciated a toaster being on hand and a K-cups machine as well as a drip coffee machine.We'd definitely recommend the cottage for travelers seeking comfortable accommodations that are close to everything Raleigh has to offer.

We live in Raleigh, NC with our dogs Lucy and Charlie. We relocated to Raleigh in 2013 from California. Our daughters graduated from UNCW and Appalachian State and Shannon graduated from NC State. Go Pack! Shannon has worked in IT over 30 years and Geoff is a Landscape Contractor. We are experienced property managers/hosts with several rental properties in NC. In our spare time we like to hang out at Lake Gaston, play tennis and watch 49r football games.
Raleigh is a beautiful bustling city with all the amenities of big city life while maintaining a small town community vibe. You won’t have to go far to find great restaurants, hiking trails, shopping, museums and more. Not to mention Raleigh is close to beautiful mountains, lakes and beaches.
We love Raleigh and hope you will too.
