- The property is lovely and is close to as advertised. Apart from one of theâbedroomsâ may not quite be a bedroom but is really a bed in an upstairs living room based on the set up. You have to pass through that bedroom to get to the main bedroom. We enjoyed the amenities including the grill and hot tub and pool. We werenât clear on how to turn on the tub and eventually had to reach out to the owner. It has to be turned on by them remotely. The owner is more than happy to leave it on for the period of time you ask. Despite those concerns we all enjoyed the stay. Just be clear on the set up because if 4 couples go expecting privacy, one is going to be disappointed.Unfortunately, there was a 350 penalty for damages. We were aware we had broken a bowl in the kitchen but there was also a report of markings on the sofa and something else that I canât remember. but we werenât aware of them until we were told. 350 seemed excessive to me but there was little to do at that point as we had left, so we accepted the responsibility. I was surprised when I was told that the cleaners said it was the worst they had seen the space especially when we made the effort to clean the space before we left. I suppose that is the nature of the home rental beast.
