House was as completely as described! The deer that are roaming around was pretty cool as well! Would definitely recommend staying here and would stay here again!

The cabin was exactly what we needed for the weekend getaway. It is close enough to downtown for quick dinner or pickup groceries. But also, remote enough that it is very quiet and no light pollution. Neighbors seem close, but you don’t really feel it and deck is facing woods which was perfect to sit outside and enjoy forest sounds and observe wildlife.Kitchen had everything needed to make quick meals and we appreciated provided drip coffee.

The place was very cute and modern in all the right ways! We enjoyed all the windows to watch the deer and javelina and enoy our coffee and breakfast! Lots to do around the area, the only thing we were a little disappointed, was the living room furniture was very uncomfortable and we couldn't get deck lights to work to enjoy sitting out in evenings! But with that being said we would like to go back and stay when we aren't on the run so much, since we were there with our Daughter and our adult Granddaughter for our Grandson graduation from High School. Lots of nice people up there as well!

This house was in the perfect location and gave my family and I the best getaway in the woods. We were there during a rain storm and the environment was immaculate. 2 major things: 1. If you’re planning to watch a movie at the end of the night or during your stay, the couch was very used and very uncomfortable, like sitting on straight wood. 2. If going during hotter months like we did, prepare to not have a cooling system besides fans and 1 portable A/C unit. Needless to say, the house was still very cute, rooms had plenty of room, and trees surrounding the house were perfect!

Loved it!

One of the best stays we’ve had in Prescott. Lovely neighborhood in the pines. Deer and javelina everywhere. Such a nice, peaceful retreat.

Beautiful Property with Cons

This property was beautiful, there is no doubt about that. There were some cons for us that will not have us coming back. I do want to highlight that the property and location is wonderful. The linen, living space, bedrooms are all designed with thought and great taste- and are comfortable. The kitchen is small, but you can see that in the pictures so it is to be expected. It came with everything you would need, included a pantry with staple items- plenty of seasoning, storage, as well as a nice coffee bar. You are expected to wash your dishes and put them away before leaving. There is no dishwasher. I am not a fan of this, mainly because I do not trust previous tenants to do this properly, and there is a big cleaning fee. No one wants to do chores on vacation so I can see this chore not being done well. Personal opinion. If you are sensitive to being cold, the home does not overall heat up, you are reliant on space heaters. There are plenty to chose from. The biggest con for us was the smell. The home has an overwhelming constant smell of campfire. The smell was not outside, only in the home. We did not use the fireplace in the property. For one, if you use it- you have to clean it all out before checking out- another chore. Not only did we smell of campfire our entire trip, but so did everything we brought home- clean clothes and all. It really was a damper to the trip and a headache!! The host was contacted about it and he was easy to reach.

Nice place very comfortable.Loved all the wildlife.Lots of down time with the WiFi so if thats important make sure the issue has been resolved. We will stay again for sure if we can't find sometime similar with a small dog run or fenced backyard.

Great cabin. Very clean and everything was exactly as described. The location is close to town but also in a nice forested area with lots of wildlife. Deer and javelina wandered through multiple times while we were there.TJ did a great job communicating and was very responsive. Very smooth check in and check out process. Highly recommended!

This is a beautiful property in a quiet forest neighborhood. It is well laid out, clean and comfortable. The large porch is the perfect spot for watching birds and the local wildlife. If you enjoy hiking, it's and easy walk to Goldwater Lake or you can check out the forest trails around the neighborhood. There are cabins on either side but they do not seem to be occupied full time. We spent 4 nights and only had neighbors for one of those nights. This cabin felt like something we might borrow from a family friend. I would definitely book again.

We stayed for 7 days here. Wonderful place. The great room was perfect for family time and location is close enough to downtown but far enough away from any noise. Lots of wildlife around the neighborhood too.
