- There is a large staircase leading from the parking lot to the entry. Once inside the home, there are stairs to access the second and third floors (3 of the 4 bedrooms are located on these floors). BEARS: Visiting Lake Tahoe means you are entering into Bear Country. While fun, we need to be extra careful with food in left cars and trash left out. Bears get hungry, therefore if you have trash, ALWAYS utilize the dumpster and NEVER leave ANY food in your cars since the bears WILL break in and get it. We have bears that regularly walk through this neighborhood. Donât leave the house unlocked when you go out and do not leave food in your car. Avoid leaving your car unlocked overnight as bears have no problem opening car door handles to take a look inside for goodies and you may wake up to bear prints on the dashboard!
