Privacy, a hot tub, mountain scenery, fine dining, local art, shopping, and every outdoor activity imaginable are yours at Bristlecone.

Bristlecone is located above the quiet little town of Valdez, in Taos County. Located 9 miles from the Taos Ski Valley, Bristlecone offers breathtaking mountain, canyon and high-desert views. Guests of Bristlecone enjoy ready access to the Ski Valley while avoiding its expenses and the inevitable traffic associated with other locations, while having a large warmly appointed private home to return to every evening.

âą Free parking access for two cars is available in front of the residence as well as in the A Bella Vista Valdez Lodge parking lot.
Vast and warmly appointed, your sun-drenched 2-floor, 2-bedroom, 2-bath adobe residence at A Bella Vista Valdez Lodge offers panoramic vistas through oversized windows with sliding doors, steep corbelled ceilings, brick entry and radiant-heated tile floors, sky lit staircase, custom woodwork and cabinetry, dual living rooms, propane -kiva fireplace on each floor, cookâs kitchen with European style appliances, full washer + dryer, original art and regional artifacts, spacious cedar deck with propane grill and seating off the main living room, and more. The second floor features a grand master bedroom with a king bed, kitchenette and seating for coffee or apres ski, enclosed patio with wood-burning chiminea and bench seating, sandstone-tiled full bathroom with tub and a second spacious bedroom outfitted with two queen beds located down the hall.
Private vehicle is necessary. Shuttle services are available for tours and airport transport. The nearest train station is in Ratan, NM. Taos has an airport which accommodates small prop and jet crafts. The nearest international airports are located in Santa Fe and Albuquerque, NM and Denver, CO.
âą. 4-Wheel Drive / All Wheel Drive vehicles are necessary to access the property via dirt road, particularly in winter, when snow tires are also recommended.
âą. Cell phone service is poor to non-existent on the property, and will likely disappear altogether as you make your final approach to the residence. High-speed internet will support cell coverage, enabling calls, texting and messaging applications.
