Il s'agit d'un studio, niché dans les montagnes de Big Bear avec une vue sur une variété de pins et de forêts. Un endroit parfait pour la R & R et entrer en contact avec la nature. Entourez-vous d'air frais et de sons de la forêt. Il s'agit d'un studio en bas avec sa propre entrée, complètement privé. La cuisine est complète avec cuisinière, micro-ondes, petit réfrigérateur / congélateur, grille-pain, cafetière, casseroles, poêles, plats et argenterie. Coin nuit avec lit queen avec rideaux pour plus d'intimité. Un lit simple, salle de bain complète, lecteur DVD, câble et WiFi. Barbecue et coin salon sur petite terrasse. Le studio est à 4, 5 miles de Big Bear Lake, à 4 miles de Snow Summit et à 5 miles de Bear Mountain Ski Resort; 5. 5 miles au village (shopping, restaurants, café, glaces); 5 miles de Bear Mountain Golf Course et Big Bear Alpine Zoo; 1. 9 miles à Big Bear Speedway et Snow Play; un demi-mile du marché communautaire. A perfect little studio for a couple or single person who doesn’t need anything big with any amenities you need for a stay in big bear with a perfect location that isn’t too far from any of your desired activities

Pleasant Stay

During my 2-night stay, I appreciated how clean and comfortable the Studio was. Everything worked well, and communicating with the owners was very easy. The location is away from the traffic and congestion, yet conveniently close to the amenities people most often experience.

This place is very comfy and inviting. It’s cute and a perfect getaway! I loved how it has a little kitchen with all the basic amenities for cooking. The view was wonderful and the stars were incredible! It’s a short drive to the lake and center of town. I really appreciated how the owners had a little stack of menus for the local restaurants and activities available in town. The only cons were the parking (it was a little small and the road is too small to park on the street) and the stairs (they were a little narrow and trying to haul my luggage up/down was a little tight. I’m not sure how it would be in the winter with snow.) Those we’re not not deal breakers in any way. It would have been nice to bring my little dog because she would’ve loved it up at the lake as well. Overall we loved the place and will definitely be back!

Great Little Place to Stay with a Small Family

My fiance, my 7 years old daughter, and I stayed during the president's day weekend in 2021. The place was the same as the pictures, clean, and comfortable. My daughter loved the place! We would like to stay again when we visit Big Bear. Close to ski resorts, stores, and restaurants. Recommended.

This was a really nice stay. However it did feel like we were in their basement. And I was unaware it was a studio cabin that was part of their house. Nice area and close to the slopes over all good and size was not bad. Easily fits 4 friends but not that private. Nice owners!

Peaceful and relaxing

Jim and Laura are very nice and have a very quaint peaceful studio. It was in the perfect location with everything we could need included in the reservation. I would highly recommend others to stay here and we plan on revisiting here again in the future!

The cabin felt a bit larger than what we expected from the pictures. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. The recliner couch is SO much COMFORTABLE! Great stay in Big Bear in the local part of town yet close to the slopes!

Cozy, comfortable & clean

Me and my husband really loved this little quaint place. It was easy to find and get into to. It was very clean when we arrived as well. I appreciated that it came stocked even with little things like salt, pepper, garlic powder and things like this. While it’s 10-15 minutes away from the village area we really enjoyed the quiet!

Best anniversary trip we've been in

The location is in walking distance from the community market. You can literally walk down for supplies and cook some delicious food in there cozy kitchen. They helped us anyway they could and the view from the cabin is to die for! cannot recommend it enough!

Escape the Busy Life

What a wonderful place to stay! Thanks to Jim and Laura for creating a quiet nook to hibernate from the busy life. Spent my Memorial Day weekend in the studio Jim and Laura offer and could not have had a better time. Everything I needed was provided. This was my first time in Big Bear, I can't wait to return. Even with the many visitors Big Bear had over the holiday weekend, Jim and Laura's place offered a quiet retreat that I was very thankful to rest each night after enjoying the great outdoors. I highly recommend this place for those like me, who need to escape when city life becomes a bit too much. Hope to book again in the future! Many thanks again to Jim and Laura. Rolf.

Excellent time!! All the comforts of home. We will definitely be coming back!

For my girlfriend and myself, it was perfect! It is a great home base for a weekend or week in the mountains. Very comfortable clean and cozy. No issues. Location is great. Just a couple of minutes from ski resorts without the hotel atmosphere. It feels like you are living in the mountains- which we loved. We will look at the availability for this place before we look at any others. :)

Comfortable and inviting

The place is perfect for two or three. More of a couples getaway. The owners are very accommodating, very clean, and quiet area. Kitchen is well equipped with the bare essentials. The beds are very comfortable and the studio is inviting. Only 15 min drive from their shopping and restaurant area. Just a little thing that might be nice is put a fan in there for the summer stays. Recommend for a nice couple get away. Thank you!

studio basement

This cabin isn't a single cabin it's apart of their home. The studio is basically their basement. It's nice inside, but if privacy is something you're looking for then it won't be found here. The owners bedroom is directly above the room. You can hear them walking around & it feels as if they can hear you. I couldn't shake the feeling that I was being watched the whole time. This cabins maximum is 4 people so if you're thinking of bringing a group of friends here then it isn't a good idea. I had to be asked to talk to the owners durning my stay for having over the maximum amount of people & for the music being too loud. The music wasn't blasting it's just the fact that their room is directly above the room. If you're even thinking of just going with your significant other I don't even think it's comfortable enough to get intimate with them considering the circumstances. I would say this place is somewhere to go if you're going to be busy for a couple days & you just need somewhere to sleep. otherwise I would find somewhere with more privacy.

We are sorry that your stay with us was not what you expected. When you told us it would be you and your boyfriend alone, that was what we expected. Had you stated that it would be 6 people with musical instruments, we would have advised you it would not be a good fit. We clearly state that the studio sleeps a maximum of four people. Your party arrived at 1:30 AM talking very loudly and used our parking spot (2 cars), which we didn't say anything about. We had to talk to you about the smell of incense and other smoke and the music blasting (our neighbors next door could hear it) because that goes against the house rules. Our bedroom is not above the studio which in no way, shape or form is a basement nor has it ever been. We had a big cleanup after you left and you made it clear you were upset. You left cases of beer bottles, food everywhere, and all your dirty dishes. Not to mention the disarray you left in the living room area. I expected to get a bad review from you because you showed your discontent that we had to talk to you about those two items. We could not hear you, and we did not attempt to. The only thing we could hear was your loud music. We were professional and courteous when we talked to you. We have had awesome reviews and know that guests that do not have a problem abiding by simple house rules will enjoy themselves at the studio.

We fell in love with this property as soon as we saw it. The lot is a plentiful 1/4 acre with a natural slope great for sledding. It is located in a quiet neighborhood with breathtaking views of the forest. The tongue and groove wooded walls give this cabin an earthy yet elegant feel.
