This over sized one bed room, one bath cabin is located centrally near Big Bear Village, Big Bear Ski Resort, Oktoberfest, Vons, Stater Brothers shopping center and more! This Cabin can be a home base for adventures at the lake, in town, throughout the national forest or for your romantic get away! Plenty of room for boat/RV parking also! You'll be nestled among the pine trees and fresh mountain air, come make amazing memories!
The space
Moose's cabin has an authentic rustic mountain cabin feel with exposed natural wood beam ceilings, but not missing any comfortable modern amenities such as dual pane windows, memory foam king size mattress, memory foam queen size pull out mattress, and a great patio for spending time outdoors or entertaining.

There is access to the entire home and property.

My family and I had a wonderful time at the cabin. We had everything we needed. It’s located in a spot near all the places we wanted to visit, including the supermarket. We would definitely book the cabin again if we return to Big Bear in the future.

We’ve traveled a lot and stayed in many rentals, but this place truly exceeded our expectations. The cabin was even more beautiful than the photos—spotless, cozy, and perfectly organized with everything thoughtfully labeled. The location is great, close to the village, and the design is lovely. The flowers and chocolates at checkout were such a sweet surprise and a wonderful gesture❤️🌹. Highly recommend this place—we would absolutely love to come back

We booked a mini vacay we usually stay in a friend cabin but they were using it the same time we wanted . I looked for an affordable place that would sleep 4 and found this cabin. The cabin was much nicer than pictures. We found the theme "Moose all around and had many nice decorations and nice fully workable kitchen . All the tv apps for entertainment, heater and very quiet area. Close to all the local places and very cozy . We only wish we could had f stayed 3 nights . We would return again .

The host Dante is great! He always responded to my questions in a timely manner and was very helpful. Moose’s Cabin was everything advertised and more! If possible, we will definitely be staying again. This cozy cabin was perfect for our family of 4. Moose’s cabin had games to play and the kids loved the mini corn hole game. No complaints here! Everything in the cabin worked as it should and the check in instructions clearly stated everything we needed to know. 5 stars!

This cabin was a perfect little getaway for my partner and I. The cabin has a portable AC inside, and it retained coolness well during the day with the windows shut. We were comfortable, even in August.

This little cabin was a great mix of cozy and convenient. it was clean and tidy with most of what we needed. We liked that it was quiet but close enough to town for us to do any activities or errands that we needed.The king size bed and bedding were extremely comfortable as well as the couch, fireplace, and large TV in the living room. We were here in October as the leaves were changing so there was no snow but lots of autumn colours, very pretty and relaxing. At first we thought the layout was a bit odd and then realised that it was very very practical.(bathroom has two entrances.). The stove in the kitchen was great gotta love that gas cooktop.! The convenience of the handheld shower in the bathroom was also great. we did quite a bit of hiking with our dogs, spent one day making the rounds of all the thrift shops, and another eating out and enjoying the beautiful mountain scenery. Dante was a great host, he was very attentive and answered all of our requests very promptly.

The host cancelled my reservation hours before check in. Left me and my children stranded. VRBO put us in a hotel for the night but that was all they did to help. I had to pay out of pocket for the other nights

Would love to visit again

First let me get to the cons. Which might i add, arent all that bad. It would just improve on the place. The space heater in the bedroom closest didnt seem to work. The window ac/heater didnt seem to ever go above 60. And the wall heater at the livingroom/kitchen did shut down on us. But that was expected because since the owner told us ahead of time that it may do that. It wasnt too cold in the home but would definitely like to see solutions to this for the more winter times stays. Oh and we couldnt get the tv in the bedrpom tp work. Maybe it was just user error. Otherwise 10 out of 10, would recommend. Nothing but good things to say. *plenty of parking for more than 1 vehicle maybe even a small trailer. *Loved that it had 2 entrances *loved that it was pet friendly, but not sp much pet friendly tp allpw the pets on the couches and beds, because it keeps the place looking and smelling nice for the next group coming in. The heater in the bedroom was ON POINT. *We loved theor patio. *loved the location *loved the christmas decorations. * Originally had planned to leave some firewood behond for the next group of guests but plans changed when we had tp use it all up to leep the living room warm while we were relaxing. Overall, great place and easily fits 2 ppl and their pets. U can comfortably fit up to 4 i would say provided they dont mind sleeping in the living room. Also the owner was great about letting us checl in a little early. Thanks for letting us stay in ur home.
