I stayed with my husband and parents for a short weekend - this was a lovely rental! Really gorgeous house and we had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed coffee on the porch in the mornings.
One of the better rentals we have stayed at. They obviously take good care of the place. It was a bit out of town but the setting was great. Perfect for someone looking for a more rural place.
My wife and I stayed here with our son (21 months old) for a week. This place was awesome. Location - Perfect distance between Bend and Sun River. And for someone who lives in a suburb, but loves nature, the amount of trees and nature around the house, the quiet, the deer in the front yardâŠall perfect. House - Everything was exactly like the photos. The appliances are better than they need to be for a rental. Bed was VERY comfortable. The AC was great (sometimes AC can blow too hard or be too loudâŠno issues here). Dishes, pans, knives, etc. were all good for our daily cooking. There was also some tupperware that was really useful for the kiddo when we went on excursions. A ton of space for our son to play and get zoomies out. Tub was great for toddler baths. Host - Regan was great. Before our stay, I asked about any baby items at the house and she said there was a high chair, which was incredibly helpful. She also told us ahead of time that the fire pit wasnât to be used due to fire restrictions at the time. Stinks we couldnât use it, but glad we knew ahead of time. There was also apparently a power outage in the neighborhood and Regan messaged us about it and told us where flashlights were. Luckily we were out and the power was on when we got back. Also asked for a code to use the Garry and she obliged. Would definitely recommend to anyone and would stay again.
This was a beautiful home inside and out. Great location for golf, downtown, old mill district, shopping and much more.
It was great for our family of six. Very comfortable, relaxing and quiet. Everything was perfect!
Staff was exceptionally helpful, especially after we forgot some important items, they were shipped within a couple days and they were very accommodating. House has everything you need, and the master bedroom works very very well for a couple with a kid, it is a very large room with a large closet.
My friend and I wanted a place that would accommodate dogs. Our pups had a great time. We went on neighborhood walks, local hikes and relaxed enjoying the beautiful backyard.
Home away from home! This house is super clean, completely updated and beautifully decorated. The spacious retreat is well stocked with everything - we thoroughly enjoyed the comfy beds, clawfoot soaking tub, outdoor firepit, and that it's pet friendly. We also loved seeing deer grazing on the property every morning.
It's a little off the beaten path, but well worth the 10 min drive to downtown Bend. We thoroughly enjoyed all the extra amenities!
Our family of 5 (plus our pup) had a fabulous stay at the Bend Hideaway! The home was very comfortable and had everything we needed for the week. It was close to all the area offered, yet nestled in a quiet area that we had peace & privacy. Loved the large backyard for our games of cornhole & badminton in the late afternoon, lounge chairs for relaxing & reading, outdoor dining area for breakfasts & dinners, fire pit for sâmores, hammock for naps, etc. Highly recommend this property if looking for a home base in Bend that is simultaneously in the heart of it all & secluded. The added touches of items for our pup, local soaps, and plenty of linens made our stay even better! Thank you, Regan for your hospitality and sharing your home with us! :)
This property was better than listed. It sits in a HUGE natural area with massive front and back yards. Playhouse, tetherball, basketball, and more. Fire pit and patio. The house itself was simple but clean, extremely well kept up and decorated. Internet was reliable and the hosts were quick to help us out when needed. If I was to try and find anything wrong, this property allows dogs (which we donât have) and there was a very small amount of hair around, but itâs barely worth mentioning. One of the nicest rentals and best values for money Iâve ever stayed in.
One note is this property is out in Woodside Ranch - for solitude, excellent, but youâre out there - expect to drive 5 miles minimum to reach most anything.
A great rental experience. Hosts were super easy to communicate with and helped us when needed. The house is in excellent shape, has all the things we needed, with a very usable layout.
The yard is massive, front and back, and great for kids or groups with lots of games to play, and plenty of space.
The neighborhood is quiet, almost to a fault. Saw lots of deer and even a coyote. Just be ready to drive 5+ miles into town for anything you need.
My husband and I were in Bend for some early season hiking with our dog. We wanted a house that felt we were in the woods but not too far from town and one that of course took dogs. We were happy we settled on this house. Itâs nice and cozy inside-well decorated, modern but comfortable. Very bright with morning and afternoon/evening sun. The kitchen is well stockedâwe tend to grab a late lunch after a hike, then eat in for dinner as we are usually tired from a day in the mountains, so we really appreciated the well stocked kitchen. Loved all the outdoor seating and the surroundingsâbeautiful pines, lots of birds and squirrels and a few deer too. So quiet at night-comfy beds. I will say though, that if you have a dog, bring a long lead as the big lot is not totally fenced. Our dog doesnât wander but I had thought the lot was fenced. Just a heads up if your pup is a wanderer. Also, we come prepped for our dog, but the house had dog towels, bed, leash, poo bags, even treats. Would definitely book the house again. Really nice house!
Property looks exactly like the pictures and was more than enough space for 5 people and a small pup. It was in a great location (35 mins to Bachelor and 15 to main area of Bend) and offered a lot of privacy. We stayed in March when it was still quite cold out, and the central heating worked great.
Anything we needed was provided and the instructions for check-in were simple and clear. The one drawback in booking this place is you will need to create an account with the company that manages this property (Evolve) and the double up in communication spaces can get a bit clunky.
When we arrived we also found hair on the pillowcases. We did not reach out to the company about it, but hopefully theyâll see this and just double check the linens when the cleaning is done. It was simple enough to rewash them, we were just a bit put off. For anyone with potential back issues, the two smaller bedrooms (the non-master) also have those bouncy spring bed frames that have a lot of give. One person in our party ended up sleeping on the couch as that was more supportive. I personally found it fine!
Despite any notes above it was overall a lovely place and location with so much to do. The outdoors was spacious and we often went on evening walks around the neighbourhood. If the linens get checked over, Iâd absolutely recommend this stay! Thanks so much!
this home is very nice and comfortable.
living/dining/kitchen are one big room with lots of seating.
Beds are very nice with extra blankets available if needed.
I would highly recommend this home to stay.
This house has everything- spacious living, comfy beds, outdoor activities, updated decor, and a clawfoot soaking tub! You can't ask for anything more.
It's off the beaten path (like 8 mins drive to town) but well worth it. We woke up to deer grazing in the yard each day - spectacular!
