The Host was absolutely Amazing! She was very quick to respond and answer any questions I had. I was having trouble finding somewhere that I could stay with my cats while we transition to our new home, and she was very accommodating.

Velina was a great host and super communicative, but we did have some issues with our stay/the property... We were switched to a different unit the day of our arrival, which was totally fine, but the AC was apparently not working upon check-in. We were not told this and it was so hot in there, I was sweating just from getting ready. The bedroom did have a window ac unit which was great and cooled that room wonderfully, but it did not help with the rest of the small apt. This was fixed by the evening of our first full day there, so we were thankful for that. Bottled water was provided in the fridge and there were some snacks and coffee as well, which was a nice touch! My 4 year old was very thankful for the snacks :) The exterior of the property was a bit run down... there was trash everywhere, the covers/doors to the crawl space were all off and you could see trash (chip bags, etc.) under the house. The side deck off of the entrance to our unit was not swept or cleaned at all so, despite our best efforts, a lot of sand/debris was easily tracked into the apt. It was brought to our attention on our second full day that there had been a squatter at the residence recently who apparently had refused to leave and was possibly the reason for some much trash, etc. around the property (that was the conclusion I drew, at least). They were working hard to get that all cleaned up when we were there, though. Overall, it mostly met our needs for our short stay. The location is great!

Kourtney the central AC was down for two hours and during that time you had window AC. l gave you a considerable upgrade from a small one bedroom to a larger one bedroom with a beautiful $20,000 bathroom remodel. The remodeling in the back of the house should not have affected your stay.

Let me start by saying that reservation was made by my daughter to visit her grandparents in North Augusta. The reservation was made on July 11 for a check-in date for July 18 and depart on July 19.Upon my daughter arriving at 5pm on the 18th, she realized that she did not have the checking instructions. After several attempts of trying to contact the host for check-in instructions . The host cancelled the reservation at 545-6pm, they didn’t cancel through the host contact link, nor did they call her or myself.Later that evening and the following morning, the host states that she apologized to me several times, and she personal issues going on. I will include screenshot of text messages.I feel that property nor the person show NOT be allowed to advertise there property on VRBO.

While this is the unit we booked we had a different unit attached to this one. I look for detailed reviews so here is mine… check in was easy and smooth, the home was very cute and clean. Many of the issues we ran into as our stay was 9 days. -There was no baking sheet so we went and bought one. No biggie. -The dryer does not have a vent hose so the lint and hot air just blows straight into the house, also a fire hazard. -I believe the temp is controlled by the owner, but there is a window unit in the bedroom and a space heater. We did not utilize the space heater while sleeping due to safety, so 3 of our nights including our last when the temp dropped in the 30’s was freezing. Some of the nights were warm and humid and only the bedroom would cool off. -There were a few roaches and stink bugs coming in through the unsealed window unit… and we got eaten up by mosquitos in the house causing my toddler to break out in hives.-the jetted bathtub did not work and the water to it wouldn’t run hot. Despite the cons, it was a very cute home and the host was extremely kind and gave us extra time to check out.
