This is a super cute and cozy tiny house on a lovely property in Redmond. The owner is onsite but you would hardly know this because they do not make themselves known. The tiny house has everything you need for a weekend away. I would give 5 stars but 1 small issue that I would recommend fixing. The stairs to the bedroom loft are treacherous and not really safe. I slid down them getting up early in the morning missing my step and skinned up my backside pretty bad. I would really recommend putting some carpeting on the stairs and maybe a little better landing up top if possible for safety reasons! There is a pullout bed available downstairs for anyone who doesnât want to venture up the stairs.
We had a fabulous time and enjoyed the cleanliness and convenience of the tiny home. Luis was a very great host and we wouldnât have changed anything!
The property description was not accurate, and was missing critical information that would have affected our decision to stay there.Following are things that weren't disclossed until 24 hours prior to day of arrival. Composting toilet. It also hadn't been emptied prior to our stay. Men were advised to only sit to urinate or go outside. No cabinets, closets or storage for personal items.Kitchen had no cabinets or storage for food. The directions advised to store food on the floor under cook stove. The directions did tell you to shut off the gas supply line to the cooktop when not in use. (Because it leaks gas). The outdoor deck faced a dirt bank and not towards the view of nearby attractions. The climb to the loft was up a very steap staircase with very narrow treads.Water tank has to be refilled every two days or you'll run out.Other items of dislike to include. Used bar of soap at bathroom sink. Zit removal shampoo in shower. The water pump failed while I was showering. Had to heat water in a pan to rinse shampoo from hair. (We notified host, they repaired it that day.)Landscape had not been cared for in a long time. The grass and weeds were near 2-3 feet tall around the house. It's unfortunate that hosts are not required to disclose all information until it's too late. .
