The space is the lower level of main house with private entrance and deck!
The space
The Alarka River (Moonshine Creek) runs through the back yard. The fire pit is ready and waiting for a Roasted Marshmallow Party or S'more Party. Two picnic tables and a real garden with wild flowers and vegetables. Wild life abounds with Mallard Ducks, Chipmunks, Ground Hogs, deer, and a Lightning Bug Show every night of the summer. Outside covered patio with rocking chairs riverside and a bistro table and chairs for dining, and TWO-two person cedar swings all outside and all riverside! Fountains and enchanting lights everywhere. This place really is magical. Generator Back Up so no worries.
Guest access
This space is the lower portion of main house with private entrance and deck! You will have total access to the Bedroom, Bath, Living Room, Kitchen/wet bar, Deck Area, fire pit and all riverside amenities including a bar-B-Que grill, fire pit with great seating. All private for your enjoyment. You will have private parking and a private key pad entrance to come and go as you please. The entire waterfront level is for your personal enjoyment.
Other things to note
For Parents with children, Polar Express and Smoky Mountain Railroad ticket holders, we have a queen sized sleeper sofa. We believe and hope that you will too, say that Moonshine Creek Retreat Too really is the "Best Stay Ever!" All Moonshine Creek Waterfront Mountain Retreat cabins have Generator back up so no worries and happy vacations. NC Wildlife Resources Commission stocked river with Brook, Brown, and Rainbow Trout. The fishing is paused in all stocked rivers for the month of March only.

Please note that these supplies are intended to get you started and may not be sufficient for your entire stay. You may need to purchase additional supplies depending on the length of your stay and your usage needs. We suggest you visit the grocery store before arriving at your cabin. Bryson City’s main grocery store, Ingles, closes at 10pm most of the year but may close earlier in the Winter months.

Pet Policy
We must know in advance if you are bringing a pet. This cabin is pet friendly with a $75 non-refundable fee (First pet $75, $45 for additional pet. 2 pet maximum) Dogs only! We allow more than two pets only on a case-by-case basis. By bringing a pet, you agree to the terms of our complete Pet Agreement, which provides very specific rules for pets including: no pets on furniture (including beds and sofas), unattended pets in the cabin must be crated, and many other strict requirements. If we find evidence of pets on furniture, you will be charged $100. If we find evidence of pets damaging the property, including using the bathroom in unit, you will be charged $200. The Pet Agreement also provides that pets brought without advance notice will be charged $250 plus the normal pet fee. Pets brought to cabins that do NOT allow pets can result in immediate eviction with forfeiture of remaining paid stay.
