Red River Hideaway is a newly built (2024) modern, cozy efficiency. 1-BA cabin nestled in the tranquil setting of Jeffersonville, KY, just a 15- 20 minute drive from the stunning Red River Gorge and less than an hour from the scenic Cave Run Lake. Cabin is well secluded on 10 acres of heavily forested property providing a phenomenal star gazing opportunity. This private retreat offers the perfect blend of comfort and privacy, featuring a charming queen bed for restful nights. The cabin is thoughtfully equipped with a kitchen area that includes a drip coffee maker, dishwasher, refrigerator, and stove top, allowing for convenient meal preparation and a homely touch.

The cabin also includes a well-appointed bathroom with a tile shower for added convenience. Ideal for couples or solo travelers seeking a peaceful escape, Red River Hideaway features modern amenities such as Wi-Fi to stay connected, Flat Screen Smart TV and couch to unwind. The property was actually very charming and private. Just what we were looking for in a weekend getaway. Unfortunately the smoke alarm kept sounding all through the night and it was up too high for us to reach. We tried calling the numbers given to us by the host, but our calls and voicemails went unanswered. Not being able to sleep made for a lousy time. When they say the driveway up is steep, that is NOT an exaggeration! It is extremely steep and difficult to climb even in 4WD

Very nice place!! New and clean! Driveway is a disaster tho! We had a 4x4 truck and got it up it upon arrival we decided to park at the bottom of the driveway and walk up. The walk back down to truck was treacherous and dangerous. You have to walk slowly and sideways so you don’t fall. Would like to come back and stay at this location! But something really needs to be done with the driveway! Please consider a resolution to this! It seems like that’s the only complaint from ALL the renters! Other than that you have an amazing property and it was a great stay!

Too many weeds. They weren't kidding about needing 4WD to access it. I was there in my Jeep for an off-roading trip, and I struggled to get up the drive because of the loose gravel. But the cabin itself is perfect!

Cute cabin. Very nice & clean. The WiFi would not work so we couldn’t watch tv or stream our phones bc of no WiFi so that was a bummer. The key entry process wasn’t easy. The key lock would not work but we somehow managed to get the key pad on the door to work. It was pretty cold inside so considering it was 30* outside. Bathroom would never really heat up and we stayed kind of chilly with only a window type heat unit for the whole cabin. The driveway was covered in leaves so at one point we almost lost the tracks to get up the steep hill haha! Other than those things it was a nice getaway!

I have left a message and am waiting for a response from the host.The warning they shared about needed AWD or 4x4 to access this property will ne accurate after they send someone to properly smooth out the 20 foot section of 1 1/2 foot section of gravel mid way up the drive. Im requesting a full refund based on the fact that we have made it up this incline without issue at a friend's property very similar. Either way if they had a flat dtive we would have sank into it as well. They need to do some maintenance. Thank you
