Beautiful home, super close to the ocean. Enjoyable decks. In need of cosmetic repairs and comfy mattresses in guest rooms.

cant beat the views especially from 2 bedrooms in the first floor. Building is a bit old though

Great Location

Had an awesome stay at this house... Vacasa was quick to respond to texts if I had a question or an issue... Couldn't have asked for a better week in the Outer Banks. Would rent again

Renters Beware

Older home overrun by sand dunes impossible to enter beach because steps are gone. Home was unbelievably filthy when we arrived because management was not informed we were coming by owners. Lights in kitchen didn't work, didn't have any broom to sweep floors of sand, fire alarm kept going off. Bathrooms dirty, dishes disgusting and has to was everything before use (see pictures) no cable had to download our own to have any tv. Literally scrubbed handrails in house.

Great views and location

The decks were amazing, and I loved the tall adirondack chairs. The pool was very clean and is serviced weekly. Note that for some, beach access from the house will be difficult, if not impossible. Also, be aware you must lift up the pool gate to clear the jamb at the bottom. The smart lock is up a flight of stairs from an unlocked storage room at the main ground floor entrance. Overall, a great stay and would definitely book this place again. Vacasa support staff was fantastic.

Great location and pool, but everything else was disappointing.

We booked this place for a long weekend getaway and had high hopes based on the pictures and the location. The location and the pool did not disappoint! However, as previously stated in another review, the access to the beach is very challenging and for some could be impossible. We were grossed out by the state of the floors on the bedroom level, because the carpets and bathrooms were sticky and dirty. Throughout the house there were crusty brown splatters on the walls and the inside handrails were visibly dirty. Upon arrival, one of the bunk beds wasn’t made and we never found the blankets so we couldn’t use it. Under the kitchen sink, smelled like rotten seafood. There were very obvious maintenance issues, the back screen door looked like someone had walked right through it and the other back door’s handle was broken off so you couldn’t slide it closed from the outside. When you go on vacation and book a place like this you don’t expect to be met with these challenges. We did reach out to the contact we had from our booking email 3 different times during our stay and received responses but no action was taken during our 5 day stay. We’ll be avoiding this property agency in the future.

Good location and pool, everything else was a let down
