Beautiful property and nice view. So some little irksome things I.e. supplied a Keurig but no coffee ( pretty standard in vacation rentals). Dish soap but no sponge. How am I supposed to actually wash the dish? Power went out to the whole property a couple of times. Other than that it was great.

Stunning views

We loved this condo. It was perfect for just the two of us. The window views were breathtaking and sitting in the hot tub with the water right there…amazing!!! This definitely will not be out last time here.

Perfect Location

When they say this house is on the water, they aren't kidding! The water comes right up to the deck at high tide, which makes for the most amazing hot tubbing! The house is close to the ferry and makes a great base for exploring the island.

All-around GREAT!

Stayed for just a quick weekend getaway, but really enjoyed it! Very nice & clean, AMAZING views & access to the beach, and it had everything we needed - and more. We had a few questions, and the owners were very responsive, helpful & friendly. I didn't want to leave! We'll definitely be back!

The views were amazing. Kayaked with the sea lions. Enjoyed grilling on the deck. Hot tub was great and the master bed was extremely comfortable. Owner was very helpful. Wish we had more than one night!

Amazing!

A friend and I chose this place last minute and we were not disappointed. The villa is very cute and clean. The views of the sound are incredible. We loved every minute of sitting in that hot tub. Eugene the owner is super friendly and extremely helpful. I would not hesitate to stay here!! Thanks again Eugene :)

Great place, great amenities, very clean and comfortable

The location is very easy to get to from the ferry, and yet it is quiet, and off the beaten path. The house was very nicely furnushed, and comfortable. A few more towels could have been provided to cover us for a weekend of hottub and shower use, and the kitchen could be better stocked with cooking utensils, pans, and food storage containers. Orherwise, everything was marvelous and the owner was very responsive and clear in communication from booking to checkout. Highly recommended. I'll visit again, for sure.

Amazing views, comfortable atmosphere and a wonderful place to reset and relax.

We planned this trip last minute and we had no idea what an incredible adventure would be had. The views from both upstairs and downstairs is breathtaking. The beach is steps away from the cabin and you can hear the waves from the bedroom. After beach combing, what a better way to unwind inside a hot tub that sits right next to the water. It was such an incredible, relaxing, beautiful and unforgettable experience. We will definitely be back to stay again. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to get away from everyday life. It’s been an experience we will never forget!

Cozy beach house

What great place to relax and watch the tide with mountain and city views in the distance! There is a Murphy bed in the living room, with a small cooking area and a good-sized table. Upstairs is a bright bedroom with more great views and a king bed. The only bathroom is upstairs if that is important to you. Great place to be with nice community around. Walk on beach, hike in amazing state parks and explore this beautiful place! I hated to leave. Note—it’s a smaller place, but has 2decks with chairs and good seating in the living area.

Perfect location to sit in a hot tub and relax.

We were a family of 4 who stayed one night. As we pulled up, we were greeted with the sight of a grey whale just off the shore! Sitting in the hot tub at night, listening to the waves almost at arms length away, and roasting marshmallows in the fire pit on the sea wall— what’s not to love!! Well-equipped kitchen. Nice robes. Plenty of towels. Murphy bed was comfy. Pet friendly—even had a dog food and water bowl. We will definitely be back!

Very cute and comfortable home!

My boyfriend, dog and I had a wonderful stay in this lovely home! It was the perfect place for a weekend getaway. The hot tub on the beach was great, I just wish we had used it more! The bed was so comfortable, almost too comfortable, we didn't want to get up. You fall asleep to the sound of the ocean, it's so peaceful. Eugene was next door so if we needed anything he was steps away, yet it was very private as well with the separate entrance to the villa. No complaints over here. We hope to actually plan another stay here and I highly recommend others to come enjoy the view.

Very nice, but one bathroom in master not great for four adults + baby

We enjoyed our weekend away here. My husband and I came with our two friends and their 15 month old daughter. It was a lovely spot and we had a good time relaxing by the water and exploring Langley. We saw lots of eagles, and even a few seals came by. The hot tub right on the water was awesome! The one thing we struggled with was with the bathroom. When we booked I didn't realize that the only bathroom in the place was through the master bedroom upstairs; this meant that my husband and I - being the ones that slept downstairs on the Murphy bed - had to try to get around our friends and their baby for any bathroom trips at night/early morning, which wasn't great.

Memories for a lifetime!

This was such a cute little condo with amazing views and a hot tub right on the water! Mountains, trees, waves, and great blue herons - what else could you want?! It was so relaxing and we felt like we were in a whole different world. Very quiet in the middle of winter, we only saw one other person! The only concern with the property was the startling fact that none of the smoke detectors had batteries (the battery compartment doors were wide open), and there were no carbon monoxide detectors. Also travelers should be aware that the road down to the property is extremely steep - make sure you have good tires and brakes! But it was a wonderful stay and we would definitely go back.

Beautiful, peaceful getaway

A wonderful getaway before the busy holiday season, just a quick jaunt from the hustle and bustle of Seattle, although you feel like you are in such a different place, the "Villa" was very easy and convenient to find, wonderful setting along the sound, peaceful and quiet, fantastic hot tub on the seawall, leaving the bedroom window open and listening to the waves lap at the seawall, having a cup of coffee on the deck overlooking the water, so peaceful and relaxing. The host leaves a fantastic and romantic table setting, and if anything is needed someone is at your beck and call, yet you would not know anyone else was there. We met Eugene upon our departure and had a wonderful conversation, wish we could have stayed longer to continue, we will be returning for some more exploration of the Whidbey Island oasis, and this is where we will stay. Very disappointed

The place smelled of mold. We had to leave as it was giving me a headache. The owner does know it smells of mold but refuses to admit it. Impossible as it's a very obvious smell. He will not give us our money back either. Very dishonest character. Makes you seriously question where all the great reviews came from as there's no way you don't smell the mold in his home. The upstairs room has a strong fabric softner/deodorizer smell as well. No way could we sleep in that room. And why would a person have to give a star in order to submit this review. How ridiculous.

This location was stellar and spectacular. Tucked away between a cliff and the sound, it felt isolated but was right on the water. The views were amazing. The place was a little precarious, clearly developed in the Boeing expansion era before environmental regulations—shown by the grandfathered elements such as a steep access road, a walk-in easement and significant shore armoring. The house itself was funky meets purpose rental updated, with four rental units in one building. The big caveats—there is no legit beach access (which the neighbor wanted us to mention) since its an eight foot drop from the deck to the beach. The parking is also a bit precarious, nose down into the sound with no fence, barrier or parking block. It also smells a bit musty but not too bad. You also have to cart in your gear, but that kind of added to the character. The other funky thing is you think you're renting a VRBO from a private owner, but then all the comms and marketing emails come from a company called Vacasa, which owns operates 30K rental properties in the PNW. It was a little unexpected but worked out ok. All in all though a wonderful place, right one the water with a spectacular view, a thing is hard to find in the PNW without an enormous rental cost.

Nice but Issues with door code and deadbolt

Condo unit is overall good quality and fine. View of puget sound and Hat Island is beautiful! Main issue was front door does not work. The code given did not work. Took 30min or so to get inside as I had to contact VRBO and have someone walk me through finding a separate lock box with a key which eventually got me inside the unit but the deadbolt does not work properly either so it took some time. Other than the issue with the door not working, our stay was good.

Wishing for more

We were so excited to stay in this home for the beach access and the hot tub features but were disappointed when the pictures didn’t match and the hot tub was not functional. It was clean and cozy
