The Space:
Discover a tranquil retreat in our charming 2-bedroom, 1-bath unit, perfectly located within walking distance to Tech, groceries, coffee shops, and vibrant shopping areas. The Cactus Rose offers a blend of comfort, convenience, and modern amenities, making it the ideal spot for your next getaway.

As you enter, you will be greeted by our inviting living room, featuring comfortable seating for five, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the neighborhood. The space is tastefully decorated to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Our updated kitchen comes equipped with modern appliances and is stocked with everything you need to prepare delicious meals during your stay. Enjoy the convenience of cooking at home with all the essentials at your fingertips. Just off the kitchen is a dining room table to sit and enjoy your culinary creations.

The master bedroom hosts a comfortable queen-sized bed. The desk and chair in this room add a convenient and private place to do some work. The second bedroom contains another queen bed and a twin in the same room. Blackout curtains are included in both rooms to guarantee peaceful sleep while a pack 'n play in the closet lends another sleeping space for our littlest guests.

The bathroom is in the hallway directly between the bedrooms. Inside, you will find a tub/shower combo with plenty of shampoo and body wash. There is also a hair dryer in the drawer for our guest's convenience.

Next to the door to the backyard is a closet with a washer and dryer for our guests that may need to do some laundry during their stay with us. We also included an iron, ironing board, broom, dust pan.

Step outside and discover the community garden next door, where you can enjoy a peaceful stroll or simply relax in nature. Gather your group and pick a few fresh veggies or admire the wildflowers. All we ask is that you are very mindful of the space and do not leave any messes behind.

You're welcome to park in the driveway or along the street. Please make sure that when parking on the street that you are facing the correct direction and at least 3ft from curbs to avoid being ticketed.

Early Check-In & Late Check-Out (Subject to Availability)
Early check-in and late check-out MAY be available for an additional fee of $20.00 per hour, for up to 2 hours. Early check-in: Payment must be submitted before 12:00 PM on the day of arrival. Late check-out: Payment must be submitted no later than 10:00 PM on the evening before departure.

For security purposes, there is a camera that records with motion looking over the front and back entry doors.

Parties are strictly prohibited and any violation of this rule will result in an immediate $500 fee.

This property is not pet friendly so please plan on making other arrangements for your pets. There will not be any exceptions made to this rule and any violations will be charged an immediate $250 fee. Service animals will be required to show proof of registration BEFORE booking.

We supply freshly laundered linens, bedding, and towels for all of our guests. We also supply paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, dish soap, and hand soap for a short stay. Long-term stays will need to replenish latter items at their own expense.

Although often there will be a variety of condiments, such as coffee, etc., we cannot guarantee what will be available.

The entire home is available to guests with the exception of the locked cleaning closet, garage and storage space in the back.

The Cactus Rose is located in the sought after Historic Tech Terrace Neighborhood. Located within walking distance to local coffee shops, restaurants, grocery stores, and a few blocks from a bus stop, making this convenient to surrounding amenities.

Getting Around:
The Cactus Rose is located close to everything. Main roads University and 19th Street are nearby as well as Loop 289 and the Marsha Sharp Freeway. Quick access to everything Lubbock has to offer! Other than Uber Lubbock has City Bus Transportation. The bus stop is located on 20th and Akron.

Host-Initiated Cancellation Policy
While we make every effort to honor all confirmed reservations, there may be rare instances where cancellation is necessary due to unforeseen circumstances.

In the event that we must cancel your reservation, the following terms apply:

Full Refund: Guests will receive a 100% refund of any payments made toward the reservation.
No Additional Liability: Our responsibility is limited strictly to the refund of monies paid. We are not liable for any additional costs incurred by the guest as a result of the cancellation, including but not limited to alternative accommodations, transportation, or other travel-related expenses.
Best Efforts to Assist: In the event of a cancellation, we will make reasonable efforts to offer alternative accommodations within our property network, if available, but we cannot guarantee availability or rates.
Force Majeure Clause: We reserve the right to cancel the reservation due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to property damage, utility failures, natural disasters, or changes in local regulations that affect short-term rentals.
Sale of Property: In the event the property is sold prior to your scheduled stay, and the new owner chooses not to honor future reservations, we reserve the right to cancel your booking. In such cases, you will receive a full refund of any payments made, but we will not be held responsible for securing alternate accommodations or covering any associated costs.
Removal from Rental Market: We reserve the right to cancel reservations if the property is permanently or temporarily removed from the short-term rental market for any reason. Should this occur, a full refund will be issued, and no further compensation or liability will be assumed.

By confirming your reservation, you acknowledge and accept these terms.

Check-in information, including the keypad code, will be sent before your check-in date. We reserve the right to decline any alteration request.

There is a camera on the outside of the house overlooking the driveway. It records with motion.

House Rules:
- No pets! Unauthorized pets will result in a $250 fee.
- No house parties. Unauthorized parties will result in an immediate $500 fine plus damages.
- No smoking inside the property.
- No excessive volume that would disturb the neighbors.
- Clean up after yourself. This includes all dishes and food items.
- If you break something, message us and let us know immediately.
