House was updated and worked fine. While it was close to downtown, the neighborhood wasnât ideal for a rental. Plus next to a railroad that came through at 1:30am.
Very clean, host communication was wonderful and very responsive. Great location to gather with family! Walking distance to cute Garner downtown and coffee shop.
Our family of 5 enjoyed our weekend stay at thisnlocation. Aside from a few spiders (which is normal for NC) this home is very clean and had everything we needed.
This house was perfect for a family weekend in Raleigh. We had 6 adults and a 2 year old. There was plenty of room. We never felt cramped together. The beds were all very comfortable. We were less than a 20 minute drive to most major attractions in the area. The host was great at communicating and even offering some suggestions on fun things to do with their guide
Only a couple little issues that needed to be resolved initially with this VRBO, of which were handled very quickly by Cassondra which is very much appreciated. The home is clean, exactly as shown in the photos, beds are extremely comfortable and it has tons of character! The neighborhood appeared a bit sketchy, but we felt safe - I think it's just an old neighborhood in need of some sprucing up. I would most definitely recommend and stay here again. It's the PERFECT location for attending concerts at Coastal Credit Union Music Park!
This house built in 1916 was very cute & clean with lots of nice updates. We enjoyed our stay, once we were able to actually get into the house. The communication issues started when I booked the house and the host sent information with links that did not work. I let her know several times that I could not click on the links and I could not copy and paste them into a browser. This was never resolved and I wasnât able to complete paperwork and access important information regarding the property. Additionally, I let her know that we were flying into town and that I didnât have the door codes. She said the codes were in emails but they, in fact, were not sent to me. By the time we arrived at the property, we still didnât have the codes and we called, texted and sent new messages through VRBO, with no response. I had to call VRBO and she finally answered their call and they put us into a 3 way call. The codes she gave us during this call did not work. She finally gave us the cleanerâs codes, which did work. I expressed my frustration to her non-response and she snapped at me sarcastically stating she was âsorryâ she didnât answer her phone during her dinner. But, I had told her in advanced that I had not received the codes and even told her a couple hours in advanced that we had landed and we were going to get dinner before heading to the house. We had to wait at the house in the cold (it had snowed a few inches that day) for 45 minutes before we finally got into the property.
Older house nicely updated. Location was perfect for family attending a wedding nearby. Nice yard space for kids to play and playground nearby over train tracks. Cute town was walking distance from house.
