Lâchez le crochet à cette belle maison canalfront fraîchement remodelée. Situé sur les eaux paisibles de Colington Harbour, cette maison est prête pour votre bateau, jet ski, Stand-up paddle board ou aventure en kayak. La rampe de lancement communautaire (payante) est disponible à proximité pour un lancement rapide.

À l'avant de la maison, vous serez accueillis avec un grand parking et un garage 2 voitures pour tous vos besoins de stockage (deux chaises de plage et un parasol à la disposition des clients). Entrant dans la maison au rez-de-chaussée, vous apprécierez la salle de récréation avec la table de billard; une zone de retraite idéale pour les enfants et les adultes. Une porte arrière vous mènera à l'arrière de la cour luxuriante où vous trouverez un patio meublé, une douche extérieure fermée, un barbecue à gaz et un quai privé.

Du quai, vous et votre famille pouvez pêcher, crabe ou commencer une aventure de canotage, de kayak / Standup Paddle le long du canal pittoresque, serpentant dans les eaux de Colington dans l'Albemarle Sound dans une aventure qui est sûr d'être l'un des faits saillants de vos vacances!

À l'extérieur du 2ème étage, vous trouverez le pont canal ouvert en plein air avec des vues extraordinaires sur l'eau, les zones humides et la faune. Observez l'activité du canal tout en dégustant un café le matin ou un verre de vin le soir sur cette charmante terrasse meublée. À l'intérieur d'un salon confortable et bien meublé vous attend avec deux futons, TV grand écran qui ouvre sur la cuisine entièrement équipée avec bar qui peut servir des fruits de mer et des steaks à la salle à manger vue sur l'eau.
Le 2ème niveau dispose également de trois chambres: 1ère suite parentale avec un lit King et HDTV, 2ème chambre Queen et 3ème chambre double et twin. Une salle de bain complète est également disponible.

Se rendre à la plage est facile et à seulement 10 minutes en voiture d'un accès à la plage avec parking, bains publics et plage surveillée en saison, situé à la fin de E. Ocean Bay Blvd. Vous trouverez de nombreux restaurants, épiceries et centres commerciaux à proximité.

Des installations communautaires spectaculaires, notamment: un immense parc avec des plages de sable, une aire de jeux, des aires de pique-nique abritées, un terrain de basket-ball, ainsi qu'une rampe de mise à l'eau et des embarcations à louer. It is a beautiful piece of property, nestled away from the hustle and bustle of the main thoroughfare, running through the Outer Banks, but close enough to get back to when you need to.We elected to bring our own sheets and towels, but I was surprised that I could not find any oven mitts in the kitchen.The view from the back screened in porch is beautiful and peaceful, but the screen and the porch itself are in need of repair.

We were unable to stay at the property we booked, but Carolina Shores seamlessly put us in another property that was a little bigger and much closer to the beach. They were great to work with every step of the way!

Wonderful time with our friends and dogs.

We had a great stay and the house suited us very well. We were a group of 2 couples and our small dogs, so the house and yard were the perfect size. My only remarks are that I think some of the listing photos could stand to be updated as the interior has changed a bit. Also, the fence has some gaps that a small dog (under 15lbs) might be able to squeeze through if left unattended. We kept a watchful eye on ours and didn't have any problems. Otherwise, there was nothing that negatively affected our stay. Thanks so much!

For the money, Great place.

For the money, this is a great place. Neigherhood pool / park. Private dock. Great water view. Pool table etc. Kitchen was fantastic. Beds were old and uncomfortable. Couches were futons. Neighborhood was safe but not fancy. Nice, new appliances. Did have several snakes on the lawn but that might be the norm for the area. Close to restaurants and grocery stores. Garage was roomy and had plenty of outdoor supplies. Screened back porch had an amazing water view.

Reviewer Comments: The area was very nice, like the rest of coastal NC it is very crowded. The sand beach on the sound is a nice get away and the pool. The home was clean and comfortable. Did have a stale smell when we first got to the home but soon clear away with glade fresh scents. The grill needed proprane gas and it was refilled soon after call to company. There was miscommunitcation with rental agency- was told home was ready and when we went to check in was told that beds were not made. So we made out own beds no big deal but it would have been nice to have the right communication. Been going to OBX for the last 50 yrs and always enjoyed Goombays since 1993. When to Art's with friends and have a pleasant time. Tried Hurricane Mo's this time and the yellow fin tuna bits were so yummy. Oregeon Inlet was fun to watch the fish come in. Will probably stay on the Sound side again love the view and trees that it offers. So many deer were seen and other wildlife. House was wonderful for our dogs . They got a lot of excercise with the stairs. Peaceful and the stars at night were breath taking- God's creation in full glory.

Enjoyed Our Week Here

There was plenty of room inside and out. The deck on the water was nice and we did some fishing (caught a few fish). The area is quiet with very little traffic. There are plenty of outdoor chairs and a few small tables available. The backyard is fenced, so it's great for kids or a dog. It is about 10 minutes off the main road which will have you driving in and out a few times, so factor that in. Where you come out at the main road, you are pretty much in the middle of everything, so that was convenient. The kitchen had everything except dish towels. There was a Keurig and a drip coffee machine with filters. Paper towels and dish detergent was supplied. The house was clean and everything was in order. It's the outer banks, so expect to find roaches outside and maybe one or two inside. The internet was fast and mostly reliable. Communication with the property management, was very good. They made sure everything was taken care of and responding quickly when I had a question. The paperwork they included with the check-in explained a lot of important details and made for a comfortable stay. I would suggest some better outdoor lighting. The lights over the garage did not work. There were no lights on the side walkway and the back patio lights were not bright. We used our phone lights to walk from driveway to the back main entrance at night. Overall, we were happy with our stay and the property management did a great job of taking care of us.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is lovely but could use some attention. The carpet in the two bedrooms needs to be deep cleaned or replaced. The tile in the main bathroom needs to be regrouted. The pool table could use a new felt and pool sticks. The upstairs screened in porch needs a new screen door. There is a gap at the top of the door allowing bugs to get in. The return vent was full of dust. I cleaned it with the Shark vacuum cleaner which was nice to have available. The curtains and valances need attention. There are also lots of cobwebs that need to be cleared away. My sister and I cleared away some as we swept off the decks, outdoor shower and garage. A deck broom would have come in handy. There are two bathrooms not two and a half as mentioned in the description as well as no piano. The stove has no indicators for temperature. The dishwasher latch is broken making it hard to open. The microwave malfunctioned on Sunday and was promptly replaced on Monday. The internet and smart tv's worked great. The ping pong table was nice. The paddles and balls are conveniently located. The yard is lovely and there are plenty of chairs and tables to use. Overall, the house is lovely. It just needs a little TLC. The management team at Carolina Shores are very friendly and ready to resolve any issues promptly.

The property is a nice size and we loved the screened in deck, fenced yard, and water views. While there was no trash or clutter, the home was in need of dusting, mopping, and spider web removal. The surfaces and floors had smudges and grime from normal guest use when we first entered the house. There were spider webs outside in places where guests would naturally run into them when staying at the house. There were dead flies in windows and the bathroom. The coffee table was covered in dust, on top and underneath. These are just some things I have come to expect to be cleaned in any rental house, cabin or hotel. Aside from the cleanliness, the house and the stay was wonderful. I would return and recommend.

We have two young children and they couldn't get enough of hanging out on the dock, fishing, kayaking etc. The yard is wonderful and spacious. The only downside, as others have mentioned, were the beds - with the exception of the one queen they were all very uncomfortable. We would absolutely stay again during the off season (if the beds got an upgrade!)

Nice area

Nice area to stay in. Neighbors are nice on both sides. Great fenced in area for my dog. The outside needed some maintenance and a little bit of cleaning. Even just trimming the shrubs back a bit would have been great. The screened in porch was also a little dirty/dusty and had cobwebs. Easy cleanup for myself to do. Kitchen well stocked, nice open floor plan.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The road to the house is about 10 min from the main road yet the neighborhood is quiet and great for walks. The property does not come with linens or towels. It needs a good outside cleanup in both dirt and lawncare. The house has a good open space and the size of the rooms are nice. It would make vacations a little easier if upon arriving there was some starter supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dish towels, anything.

Family fun

We stayed here with a 10 and 6 year old. It’s a quiet neighborhood where we could ride our bikes safely and enjoy the peace and quiet on the porch looking out over the water. It’s not far from the main area where the kids had fun playing mini golf and riding the go karts! We loved having a pool table and ping pong table right at the house to entertain them as well!

Salty Shenanigans.

We paid for early check in. We were told it was not ready yet despite being 1pm. We were able to go in anyway since we paid for it. Wasn’t too bad, but the floors were not very clean. Like a lot of other reviews the outside was a bit “dirty”, but nothing that a broom couldn’t fix. It was a little different having to make your own bed, (linens were in a container in bags) but I didn’t mind. I liked knowing they were actually cleaned. We really enjoyed the house. We LOVED the screened in porch. It made the stay way more enjoyable knowing you weren’t going to get eaten alive by bugs outside. We also loved crabbing off the dock! We had great success crabbing. The beds were comfortable and it was nice having two bathrooms. We would definitely rent this house again. Colington Harbour is a great place to stay. Especially if you have kids. This was our second time staying in Colington Harbour. The sound beach is great along with the pool! I would recommend this place to anyone.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place is in need of a deep clean and updating. Kitchen needs help with new pots/pan & utensils ( not enough forks, spoons and pots and pans were limited). Screen door was hard to open and close. Plumbing was slow draining/clogged. Driveway has a weird wooden walkway that had water accumulate with no rain or reason and it stunk (it was only one day this happened). Oh, and thereseems to be bug problem in basement/deck area. All issues were reported to rental office and maint. and they did come out twice) The porch is nice and the dock in the back was enjoyable. The a/c was great. This place could be a gem just needs some TLC.
