Lovely place, fabulous hosts!

Marisa and Oswaldo’s house is an absolutely lovely place up in the hills, surrounded by nature. Marisa herself is the best you could ever hope for in a host. The house is quite isolated (a big plus for us), so if that’s not your thing, this might not be the best place for you. But if you love dark skies, butterflies, wild-flowers (in spring), friendliness (from Marisa) and dogs (all very friendly and great around kids) then you couldn’t really do better.

Das Haus ist sehr authentisch, das Grundstück sehr weitläufig, man kann die Natur beobachten und das landleben genießen . Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit, gibt gerne Tipps zu der Umgebung.Der Strand und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in 20 min mit dem Auto zu erreichen, schönere Strände bis zu einer Stunde Fahrt. Die Küche ist nur bedürftig ausgestattet, der Backofen kaputt und vom kochfeld ( großer Abenteuer mit Gas!) funktioniert nur Teil. Keine spülmaschine, Kaffeemaschine, Pfannen usw. Es gibt keine Klimaanlage oder Ventilator, was bei Temperaturen um 38 sehr anstrengend ist. Die schotterweg - Zufahrt ist sehr lang und in sehr schlechtem Zustand. Ohne Gelände - tauglichem Wagen nicht zumutbar.Im Haushalt leben zwei Hunde die frei auf dem Grundstück rumlaufen,das soll man bedenken, vor allem mit kleineren Kindern. Insgesamt ok, wenn man genau liest was einen erwartet und sich darauf einstellt.

Wunderschönes toskanisches Ferienappartment

Das Haus ist sehr schön gelegen. Man erreicht es nur über einen Schotterweg von ca. 1km, der mit einem normalen Auto aber machbar ist. Internet und TV funktioniert nur bedingt. Ein Ort zum Abschalten und Natur genießen. Die Besitzer sind sehr nett, zuvorkommend und kinderfreundlich. Das Haus selber ist solide und hat die wichtigsten Dinge. Wir hatten dort eine schöne Zeit!

Perfekt für uns!

Meine Freundin und ich waren zum ersten Mal in dieser Unterkunft und werden mit Sicherheit wiederkommen. Zunächst waren wir etwas verunsichert aufgrund der schlechten Zugänglichkeit mit einem etwas tieferen Auto, da es sich doch um einen relativ Steilen nicht asphaltierten Weg handelt (letzte 500 m). Als wir aber dort waren wurden wir mit unglaublicher Herzlichkeit, Ruhe, Entspannung und einem perfekten Zuhause für einen Urlaub belohnt.

Ruhe und Erholung in einer kleinen Wohnung mit großen Garten und Sternennächten

Die Wohnung ist Ideal für eine Reise zu Zweit (auch mit Hund) ausgestattet. Es gibt ein sehr sehr bequemes Bett, eine zweckmäßige Küche und einen grandiosen Garten / Grundstück. Die Vermieterin wohnt mit am Objekt. Sie ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und angenehm zurückhaltend. Die Wohnung und das Grundstück sind sehr sehr sauber gewesen. Hundebesitzer sollten wissen, dass noch zwei Hunde mit vor Ort wohnen, sowie ein paar Katzen. Die Hunde kommen aber nicht in den Bereich der Wohnung. Die Anreise mit dem Auto ist spannend, da die letzten 500 Meter über einen Schotterweg führen - da gilt es wachsam vor Schlaglöchern zu fahren. Wir empfehlen die Anfahrt vom unteren Zuweg. Diese ist wesentlich besser. Das Haus liegt mitten im nirgendwo. Dementsprechend ist es den ganzen Tag extrem ruhig. Zum Strand gelangt man in ca. 30 Minuten. Wir empfehlen die Strände bei Marina di Cecina. Da gibt es einen sehr guten Hundestrand mit guten Parkmöglichkeiten. Insgesamt waren es erholsame ruhige Tage in der schönen Toskana.

True Tuscany!

Me and my family have spent 2 weeks in this cozy farmhouse, the apart was well furnished and sunny, the view is breathtaking, beaches are just 20 min from the house, historical towns within 1 hour driving. I can say was a wonderful holiday in a true Tuscany corner!

Lovely Tuscany

We stayed there in October 2017 for 7 days, the farmhouse Ligoracce is perfectly overlooking Tuscan hills and surroundings. Our apartment was clean and fully equipped: perfect bedrooms ,kitchen and bathroom, we recommended this worderful place 100% for the entire family and the best thing is that pets are allowed!!!!! :) We will return on spring time for sure!!!

A great easter vacation..

Very quiet location in the hills, a long way from the road. Beautiful walks all around ,and superb restaurants a (steep) walk away the place is just spectacular! The property itself was what we were looking for basic but very clean with all the facilities.

We had two wonderful weeks!

My husband and I spent two weeks at The Ligoracce at the end of September and early October. It couldn't have been better! Marisa and her family are warm, friendly and helpful and made our stay very special. This is a studio apartment, but the accommodation is charming, spacious, clean and well-equipped. The location, very close to Castellina Marittima is perfect as a home base for visiting the many beautiful interesting places nearby dotted along the Tuscan coast and inland, although we found our favorite days were ones spent relaxing and enjoying all that The Ligoracce had to offer: Al fresco dining overlooking the rolling Tuscan hills, cycling along the many old country tracks or walking down with the borrowed dogs to the river. *The dogs loved it too), We helped Marisa harvest the figs and the berries, and enjoyed tomatoes fresh from their garden and the jam she made with the fruits! We look forward to visiting The Ligoracce this year and we’ll bring the grandchildren!

Young family from Hertfordshire England

We had a fantastic time at "le Ligoracce" The area is beautiful and tranquil and being immersed in "nature" helped us unwind immediately. My husband loves walking and he was spoilt for choices. My oldest one, nine was smitten by "Peppa" the beagle and the animals and she was even reluctant to leave them to go to the local beach for a daily dip. We manged to visit San Geminiano, Volterra and Populonia ( beautiful for swimming,but need to get there early for the most conformable places near the grass). The little ones loved running around and playing with water in the tub that Marisa had organized for them. Marisa was friendly and helpful and provided us with tasters of the local products that made us feel very welcomed and part of the community. We will return next year as we only had a week and it was not really long enough to see everything.

" JUST PERFECT"

JUST ARRIVING YOU CAN FEEL AND SEE THE PEACEFUL ENVIRONMENT,AND FANTASTIC VIEWS, THE APPARTMENT WAS FULLY EQUIPPED, CLEAN, ... FOR THE CHILDREN IS PERFECT, ALSO IF YOU FAVE PETS THEY ARE WELCOMED ;)).. I RECOMMENDED THIS WONDERFUL PLACE TO EVERYBODY...

Peaceful location

Very quiet location in the hills, a long way from the road. Beautiful walks all around and superb restaurants a (steep) walk away. Walking back at night, we were greeted by a firefly display most evenings - spectacular! Marisa was very helpful with local information and spoke very good English! 15 minutes drive away from the coastal attractions, and an easy drive from Pisa. Plenty of unspoiled beaches within easy reach. The property itself was basic but very clean, and had a nice shower room.
