Dear Sue, Thank you for your feedback. We genuinely appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We are sorry to hear that some aspects of your stay did not meet expectations. The property is professionally cleaned before each visit, however as this is a farm setting, cobwebs can sometimes reappear quite quickly despite regular cleaning. Our house rules do note that if any cleaning issue is noticed during the stay, guests are encouraged to let us know so our local team can respond promptly and address it. We would have been very happy to assist had we been made aware at the time. We are also sorry to hear about the difficulty with the bedroom door handle and some of the locks. Likewise, if this had been raised during the stay, our local team would have done their best to assist as quickly as possible. To clarify, guests are only required to secure the main house using the smart lock on departure, and the farm gate itself does not need to be locked. We also understand the security setup may have felt uncomfortable, however all cameras are external only and are there for guest safety and property security. The screen inside allows guests to view the outside area without needing to step outside. Regarding the bins, council collection in the area is fortnightly, and we provide spare bin bags while asking that bins be placed toward the back of the property between collections. We value all feedback and will continue working to improve the guest experience for future guests.
