We fell in love with the area and the house was in a GREAT location. The house had everything we needed and then some, and the hosts were AMAZING at communicating and super helpful.
The home is really nice, pictures didn't do it justice. The furniture and beds were all nice and comfortable, place is decorated very cute. The fenced in backyard was great for our dogs and the owners were very friendly and always responsive.
This was a perfect family friendly get away spot. We brought 4 grandbabies with us! plenty of space and kid friendly!Bring bath towels and essential though!
Excellent stay! Very neat and clean. A few toys for the small kids was thoughtful and much appreciated. The VRBO listing is confusing regarding the location of the rental but not a major problem for us.
We had a great stay, loved the big couch for movies, and the comfy beds. The location is a 12 min walk to the beach, and you do need to cross a semi-busy 2 lane road - which was fine for us, but if we had a bunch of beach supplies or young kids it might have been tougher, but still doable especially if you travel on a quieter weekend. There is usually beach parking available in the morning, so we did that on days we wanted to bring beach chairs. We loved getting drinks and apps on the beach at the Lazy Turtle.
We looked at houses for about a week before landing on this gem. It was budget friendly. You can walk to the beach but with older family members and young kids we only walked once then paid for a parking permit the rest of our week. We went down when a hurricane was coming in so we did get a lot of rain, so we didnât get to use the fire pit or backyard like we wanted to. We did play a little in the front between the rain bands and had a blast (we took chalk and bubbles) the house has a game room so even when we had to be inside the older kids were entertained, the house also had a few toys and books for the kids! Even a potty for my potty training toddles! We really enjoyed our stay. Any questions I had were answered pretty quickly and when we did have an accident, I could let the owners know immediately. (Two toddlers broke a lamp). If we had a dog this place would be perfect with the fenced in back yard. Overall with my family plus grandparents, we all had a blast. Thatâs two 60+ my husband and I in our mid 30s, and our kids, 5yo, twin 2yos and an infant baby 3m. Even with all us the house didnât feel jammed packed and we if needed had space to give anyone the space they needed.
Oply negative thing is the smoke/fire alarm is in an odd play in the kitchen, so if your oven is hot and you open it for more than 30sec, it goes off. Wasnât a big deal once my tall husband got to the house 3 days after everyone else, but before then we had to find a step stoll or not use it.
This location is serene and an older part of town. It has history and is close to everything. You can walk to the intracoastal or the beach, plus breakfast, lunch and dinner is at the end of the block.
We have an updated older home, with great bones and new interiors. We have a large fenced backyard for you and your pets to relax, plus a quaint porch to people watch. The sunroom is unique and adds another space in which to have fun or relax.
