We now sleep 8!! New ownership as of October 2023!
Enjoy the island life in this beautiful 3 bedroom home. Fully equipped kitchen, dining table seats 4 with breakfast nook seats 2. Spacious living room with large flat screen Roku TV. Brand new LVP flooring throughout. New sectional sofa! Beautifully landscaped fenced in back yard. Master bedroom has king size bed, flat screen Roku TV and en suite bathroom, as well as private exit to huge back patio. Second bedroom has a queen bed and flat screen TV. Third bedroom has twin beds, and full size bed perfect kids room. Minutes from beach access and gorgeous scenic walk over the canal. Well mannered, potty trained pets welcome. We want you and your family and friends to have a relaxing, enjoyable, care free vacation.

Rental to attend Granddaughter’s wedding

While our stay was only 2 nights, the accommodations were perfect for our family and my Chihuahua, Harley. The house was very clean and you could not tell that this rental allowed pets! We will certainly stay again on our next trip to Oak Island, NC.

two great weeks in OKI

We fully enjoyed our time on the island and this property. It was the perfect stay for us and our two dogs. The fenced yard was great! The house has plenty of room for a family as well. It was clean and the kitchen was roomy and had a good selection in dish ware. The neighborhood is very quiet and friendly residents were around us. The beach was only a short walk away, however we decided to go to Caswell beach which was just a few miles away and almost no people there. The host was very responsive to any questions we had. We definitely would recommend this property to anyone interested.

Perfect cozy spot!

We only stayed for one night, but it was the perfect quick stay. The house was clean, cozy and just as pictured. The beds were comfortable. The host was very sweet and communicative!

location location

very pleased with our stay here, house was comfortable and the fenced yard is a plus for anyone traveling with pets, a short walk to beach. the host was in communication with us prior to our stay about emergency roof repairs which were completed before arrival. definitely will stay here again.

The property has been well maintained! The owner's attention to detail was amazing. She was readily available when we needed anything. And she sent info on community events. She was amazing and very accommodating!

Wonderful beach house

We loved our stay. Communication was excellent and the house was perfect for our needs. A quick 2 minute drive to public beach access was perfect for a family with kids to easily go back and forth. We loved being able to include our fur family on vacation as well.

Nice little spot

We very much enjoyed our stay at Seas The Day! in Oak Island. I would say that it was very much as advertised. Great for our family of 5 and our dog. Just a short (2 to 3 min) drive or walk to the beach. Excellent accommodations for the price that you pay.

If you’re looking for a great place to stay for your vacation Seas the Day was fabulous!! It was clean, great communication with the owner/host. Not to far from beach. It was a great experience for the first time visit to Oak Island.

Great place to stay!

We primarily stay at VRBOs rather than hotels and have to say that this was one of the best! Great communication with the owner, everything was just as advertised. Comfortable bed, kitchen had everything we needed, and the yard with fire pit was great. Very dog friendly but didn’t smell like dogs inside! About. 12 minute walk to the beach was doable with kids.

Outstanding Home

Everything was so together, in place, and clean. Kim, the host was so supportive and answered to our every need. I definitely plan to go back as soon as possible! I highly recommend this beautiful and cozy home.

Great getaway

Very friendly neighborhood. Close to restaurants and grocery store. A couple of minutes to the beach. Great kitchen. Dog friendly house with fenced in backyard. We would definitely stay again.

This is our second stay Both stays 2 weeks +. Great property and very pet friendly. Outdoor space was enjoyed by all! Neighborhood is flat and very walkable and bikeable. A casual 15 minute walk to beach.

Family Island Getaway-Perfect getaway!

Wonderful little house. Very comfortable and spacious for a small house. Outdoor areas are such a huge bonus, only wish we were staying longer to take advantage of the fire pit. Was close to the VFW event we were in town for. Loved the island and hope to visit again!

Simplicity

Pros: -Clean -Fenced yard for pups -Kitchen appliances nicely stocked for cooking -Peaceful location -host responsive via text -cozy Room for improvement: -Not a square of toilet paper upon arrival -Couch needs to be replaced (host said it’s been ordered and they haven’t been able to put it in because house is booked for summer season) -no outdoor shower, but there is a hose (we used the 46th street beach access which has showers and took our kids to the awesome splash pad to rinse) -make sure they have put in bath plugs if you need to use bath at any point instead of shower (we requested)

Amazing location...with small issues that if fixed would be an amazing rental

Pros: Great little house located within minutes from the beach, restaurants, shops and publix. So happy it was so close. Kitchen & dining room were a perfect size for us. Back deck is very nice and has a fire pit. Cons: The couches need to be replaced. Look and feel old. Found 2 roaches inside the house. The master bathroom sink would take a long time to drain after washing hands and brushing teeth. The drain pull on top of the faucet doesn't work so the water just sat there forever. All of the beds are incredibly uncomfortable. Master bed is very hard so if you need a soft bed this room is not for you. The bedroom with the twin bed and bunk beds is equally as uncomfortable. We had to keep switching rooms because all of our backs hurt. The pillows are flat and uncomfortable. The horrible: we found what was either dog hair or pubic hair all over the pillows, bed and nightstand in the master bedroom. It obviously was not cleaned properly before we arrived. If these items above would be fixed I would definitely want to stay there again because of the location!

Great Home and Dog Friendly

Great place to stay at Oak Island. Only a couple minutes drive to beach. Grocery store and restaurants close by. Enjoyed our stay!

Nice place to stay and dog friendly.

Everything was good. Any issues that came up the property manager addressed quickly. They ordered new chairs for the back yard which was really nice. We had a great time and our dog enjoyed the back yard and running around in it. Not far from the beach and restaurants.

Yard was great for the dog. Furniture in living room very uncomfortable and needs updated. All in all has everything you need- nice quiet neighborhood. Needs more directions to use the TV.
