We are 100$ pet friendly !! Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located Villa. All you need to bring is swim suits, beach chairs and sand buckets ! Just minutes to the beaches, and walking distance to downtown
Vaulted ceilings and open floor plan. TV`s in every room, fully stocked kitchen complete with the blender and a Keurig for the morning after!
Open covered front and rear porch, complemented with a camp style BBQ grill in the completely fenced in back yard.
Dog friendly but please NO cats. Please pick up after your pet during your stay and prior to leaving. Pet waste bags are supplied and please discard in garbage receptacle outside.
Absolutely no smoking of any kind in the unit and this includes vaping; you may smoke outside.
Please be courtious to the other guests and pick up after Fido !
Quiet time is 10 pm to 7 am.

Great correspondence from the host leading up to check in, during stay and when I needed a receipt for my stay. The place was comfortable and well furnished. This is the 2nd time I have stayed at one of their properties.

Richard was a wonderful host, communication soon after we reserved and on into the stay. This is a very nice place close to town and not far the beach. Quiet location with a walking/riding path right behind the yard. Porches front and back to sit outside and enjoy the weather. Also appreciated the washer and dryer as we had been on the road for a week. A cozy place to enjoy PSJ.

I loved all the attention to detail over the Christmas holiday. The home was completely decorated for Christmas. Also it is a dog lover’s delight! Big back yard, dog bowls, and a treat jar for our fur baby’s snacks. Owner checked in on us and made sure our stay was fantastic!

This was a wonderful place to stay while in St. Joe. The hosts could not have been better. The duplex had everything that we wanted. Having a huge fenced yard with a spot light was perfect for our needs. The kitchen was outfitted with all conveniences. We absolutely loved our stay at the Crab Shack. If we can visit Florida next year, we'll stay again.

The host, Richard, was so nic e and assured me if there was anything I needed to let me know. The kitchen had small bags of assorted chips, bottles of water, a cabinet that had lots of spices, Folgers coffee, etc. The neighborhood was very quiet, and I felt safe since I was traveling alone. Great place. Intend to stay again.

Our stay in Port St. Joe was fantastic! The rental was exactly as described, spotlessly clean and more well-equipped than any place I’ve ever stayed. We had everything we needed and more. The owner was wonderful to work with, very responsive, and knowledgeable about the area. We truly enjoyed our time here and hope to stay again!

The Crab Shack was a perfect place for a lovely get away! The accommodations were so nice. We enjoyed the quick drive to various beaches during the day, and to stroll to the downtown area for dinner and fun in the evening! The recommendations that were shared with us were fantastic!

The guests did mention the refrigerator noise. We didnt hear any "noise", but to be safe, just in case something was potentially going wrong, we called the repair guy, and the sound was the normal compressor noise, reading 37 decibels. $125 later, nothing was found wrong. There is a slight "hum" when the compressor is running, no doubt. A whisper is around 30 decibels. We have 137 reviews on another platform, with this unit, at a 4.97 rating. No one in the last 6 years has mentioned the refrigerator noise. We have yet to duplicate the "noise"

Richard & Ginger were great hosts! They provided lots of restaurant and activity recommendations. Richard called to check up on us and offered special accomodations based on our unusual situation. The house was perfect for the (4) adults and dogs I traveled with. The front and back porch were great for morning coffee and happy hour cocktails. The location was perfect, we could walk to lots of restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

The Crab Shack is Awesome!

Awesome little get away! Great, roomy, clean accommodations for family of four with an extra in tow (all teenagers). Richard & Ginger were very hospitable and made sure we had everything we needed during our short stay!

Great Stay

We would definitely stay here again. It was perfect for my daughter and I. We loved walking down and playing around in the bay at the park. Everything was clean and comfy. Richard gave us some great suggestions for restaurants and was very attentive to answering emails promptly.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Richard’s and Ginger’s property. The hosts were very helpful. The property was very clean and comfortable. It was well stocked with the necessities needed for an extended stay.
