Cottage just blocks from Bay, boat ramps and downtown. Pet friendly fenced yard
Newly renovated 1920's craftsman cozy cottage has plenty of charm. Located on the Bay Block of St Joes Bay, couple blocks to historic downtown Port St Joes fine restaurants and shops, parks, public boat docks & lighthouse. They call these cottages a "six pack", with 2 double beds in front bedroom, master bedroom with a queen off the dining room and off the kitchen is an office/comfortable full size futon. Full bathroom with tile shower inside, plus a fun out door shower. Catch the breeze off the bay on the front porch or enjoy the privacy of the backyard pavilion and patio in the fenced backyard. Complete with outdoor commercial sink and fish cleaning island for the fisherman.
We enjoyed our stay! Itâs a cute house, it was very clean and is in a great location. Always skeptical of pictures online but this was better in person than expected. I appreciate the cleanliness of this house. Will definitely stay again.
WE HAD A GREAT TIME AND THE LITTLE OLD COTTAGE HOUSE WAS PERFECT!!!! LOVED THE OUTDOOR SHOWER AND FENCED IN BACK YARD!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAYING HERE!!!
Great location down the street from the convenience stores. 15 min to cape San Blas. Fenced yard was perfect for my dog. Utilized the charcoal grill. It was perfect for our family.
House was perfect for our family of 3 and little 10 pound pup! We spent most of our time in the bay fishing or in the back yard with the fire pit going! Driveway is long enough for boat parking! We cooked every night at the house, had all the utensils & dishes we needed! Owner was quick to respond to all of ours questions/needs! We could walk everywhere! Less than 10 minute walk to marina, where there is a park & small walking trail. Could easily walk to the downtown area to restaurants if you want! We will definitely be back!
This was our first visit to Port St Joe and it was great! The cottage was fully stocked with every thing we needed to be able to relax. The photo album showing the restoration process was fascinating! Great location with an easy walk to the great restaurants in the historic downtown.
Would definitely stay here again!!
This property worked great for us. Loved the back yard and " happy hour" hut. Very comfortable. Very friendly neighborhood. Loved the front porch. The bike had a flat tire, would have been nice to have one but only blocks to town and nice to walk the neighborhood.
Property was as advertised. Great location. Very nicely decorated, well stocked kitchen.
Could use some updating - Beds, TV.
An issue with bugs, caterpillars near end of trip.
Great location for us. Enjoyed the historic nature of the house & town. Comfortable & convenient.
Door lock a little tricky with door jam/dead bolt. Spent days on water fishing so early AM/PM use mostly. Would reserve again in future if back in area for similar type trip.
Came down for a few days of fishing in St. Joe Bay. The house is close to the boat ramp in port St. Joe and conveniently located to everything in town. There was plenty of room to park my boat (20 foot) in the side driveway and backing in was easy as the street isnât very busy. Look forward to hopefully staying here again next year.
The cottage was charming and very nostalgic. It is conveniently located near historic downtown St.Port Joe and the bay side of the Gulf. Found lots of things to do in and around the area even in a rainy week.
Janis is a wonderful hostess and quick to respond to any needs you might have.
If you are looking for a place away from all the crowds of 30A, this is it. Great location for this unique cottage!
We enjoyed our stay. With a little more attention to detail, the house would be fantastic.
The location is walkable to the shops and restaurants downtown and the beach.
The street that the house is on is a little bit of a mixed bagâsome empty dilapidated houses and some that look like long time residents.
The back yard area needs some TLC.
Overall, itâs a cute little house and worked for our stay.
This quaint cottage is located adjacent to downtown Port St Joe. The bay and a small park are located across a 2 lane Main Street. It is in a shaded neighborhood with similar cottages. Inside is an open design concept, with 2 bedrooms, and a bonus bunk room/office. Full bath and laundry room in the back of the house. Very comfortable and cozy. Very nice fenced in backyard for our 2 pups ! Overall, very nice stay, will go back.
I'm a Realtor in Peachtree City, Ga., which is a south Atlanta Metro town. I've been selling real estate for the past 15 years and thought it'd be fun to do a renovation. Prior i spent near 20 years at Delta Air Lines in customer service, marketing ,and sales. I've enjoyed traveling and meeting new people
I love this gem, it was certainly a diamond in the rough when I found it several years ago. I say "I rescued" it. Over the last several years, I've lifted it out of the sand and have been working on it on and off between real estate clients. Repurposing as much material as I could. I think it brings character and warmth to this cottage.
I think you'll enjoy the front porch which almost always brings a cool breeze and those who come for our famous fishing opportunities should like the outdoor pavilion with a commercial sink for catch of the day.
