Enjoy your vacation in this cozy cottage in a quite seaside neighborhood
JusAnuf is a quite friendly seaside village that has the âold foridaâ feeling of relaxed casual beachside living. The perfect neighborhood to take a walk or bike ride with our quite Beach just a short walk away. The lagoon is also a short walking distance if you like kayaking.Bring your boat there is plenty of space the boat landing is only 1 mile down the road.Indian Pass has many fine places to dine with many quaint shops in Port St Joe and Appalachicola as well. This is such a sweet little piece of paradise. And don't forget to bring your fur Babies, they are welcomed as well.
Our stay was perfect! The refrigerator was struck by lightning, and Tammy had a new one delivered a short time later. The house was super clean and very cozy. Nice, quiet neighborhood. I could not have asked for anything better. Tammy and Benny are wonderful hosts.
Just a few minutes walk from a wonderful quiet beach, where you can see dolphins, herons, crabs, ... wonderful warm water, gentle waves, very comfortable accommodation with all facilities and excellent internet.
Had an awesome time. The beach cottage was perfect! Tammy was a wonderful hostess; very nice and good communication. We plan to return. Absolutely love the area.
This is our second stay at this house. It was even better than the first. The pristine quiet beach, less than 5 minutes walk from the house, all the facilities we need, good AC, nice shower, full kitchen. We hope to come again.
Beach is within 3 minute walk. Went during 4th of July weekend. This place has absolutely no traffic, no long waits at restaurants, and the beach is was only a few people! You can bring your dogs on the beach and have a fire pit going on the beach if you like. Donât think Iâll ever go back to PCB or Destin. This is a great spot. Will return.
We enjoyed our time spent on this property!! Loved being able to knock the sand off before entering the house and being able to keep our fishing gear outside the house! Perfect for our fishing family!!
I had a great visit I just would have liked some kind of blind over the kitchen door since I was the lone occupant. The flies were really bad at the table outside because someone close had fish or shrimp remains in the trash. Otherwise it's a nice place.
Thank you so much Tammy for opening your wonderful house to our family. We had an amazing time. The house was well stocked and very clean. We felt like we were away from all the non-stop busyness of the world. Quiet and safe neighborhood. So wonderful! We will be back!! Thanks again Tammy.
We enjoyed our stay. It was nice and clean. The owners we fast to respond to any questions or concerns. On our 2nd night the dryer went out . I messaged them first thing the next morning and they had a new one installed before lunch. We also done some surf fishing and caught several speckled trout ,two triple tail and a tarpon. It was an outstanding vacation that our family will be talking about for years to come.
No dishwasher so I question how sanitized the dishes, utensils and glasses were. Pink and orange mold on the shower curtain liner so, we bought a new one. Double bed was terrible and lumpy so we slept in twin beds. Towels were a dingy gray and smelled musty. This could be a cute, turn of the century cottage but itâs not. Proximity to the beach/Gulf was fantastic but the house was not.
We had a wonderful time staying here. We are a family with two kids (8 and 10) and we like low-key, unpretentious, uncrowded beach experiences. We absolutely LOVED being in a neighborhood. No high rises or big roads to cross to get to the beach, everyone was so friendly. The bungalow had everything we needed. The front living room was great and so helpful for managing all of our beach gear. I accidentally locked us out one evening we went out for a walk and Tammy had us back in almost instantly.
We really liked that the second bedroom had two twin beds. Our kids frequently end up sharing a double bed when we travel, which is fine, but they slept a lot better with the two twins. Being able to walk a couple of blocks to the beach and swim and play was just perfect.
We came on the heels of Tropical Storm Claudette and the seas were a bit rough the first couple of days but we discovered St. Joseph Bay just down the road at the state park, which was always calm and manageable no matter what was going on on the Gulf. And the bay actually ended up being our kids' favorite spot. We paddle-boarded and our kids had so much fun snorkeling. They saw rays and urchins and hermit crabs. We couldn't get them to leave the water.
It was a great house - and great value and the location was perfect for us. We would highly recommend it.
We had a great time staying in Tammy's Beach house. Everything was just as described at the property. It had a grill and an outdoor fish fryer winner winner. The owner was easy to get in touch with and responded quickly. Overall everything was great if I had one word of encouragement an overall buff and polish would make this a stunning rental. Thanks Tammy
We stayed here six nights and had a wonderful time. There were four of us, my spouse, two teenage kids, and myself plus the dog. I love the sunroom area for leaving shoes and beach stuff out of the house but not out in the yard. There were plenty of dishes/utensils/cookware etc. All we had to get was charcoal, groceries, and a few paper products to get us through the week. Tammy was extremely quick to answer any questions I had. The only issue we had was that the new toilet had a slight leak, we just let the Owner know and put down a towel, it wasn't a big deal for us and the floor is tile so it didn't mess up anything. If I had to suggest anything, it would be to get a small bedside table with a lamp for the master bedroom. LOVE this area, it's not crowded on the beach, plenty of shells, a little store right down the road if you forget anything or just need another loaf of bread. If you stay here be sure to go to Port St. Joe during low tide so you can walk out in the bay and see all the crabs! We even took a trip into Panama City, it was an easy, scenic drive and we got to see some jets flying around the Air Force Base. One note: the power receptacles are high up on the walls so you might want to bring a drop cord or two just in case you need to plug in something with a short cord. If you're looking for simple, homey, and private then this is the rental for you.
I'm Tammy and I have lived here since 2015,found this place in 2004 and fell in love .I love walking the beach, bike riding, shelling, fishing, met Duke we call him the mayor, he taught me how to throw a cast net, and I was hooked,I hope you will enjoy this place as much as I do.
