This place has multiple living spaces, balconies off every floor & well stocked. Beautiful outside area with the lagoon, both pools & walking path. Neat to see so much wild life and also the marina. Very convenient to shopping & restaurants.
Unit K6 is wonderful. Best stocked unit Iâve ever stayed in. Great decor and nice location within Kawama. Had a lovely stay and would recommend this place to anyone.
Thank you for sharing your great location with us. This was our first visit to the Keys and the unit was amazing. Probably one of the best stocked locations we have ever stayed at. The location was great with close amenities in the club along with being central to Key Largo activities.
We really enjoyed staying in this condo. The kitchen is one of the best stocked kitchens for any rental that I have been to. The decorations were very beachy and the unit was very clean. They have many games and puzzles to entertain everyone in the unit. We enjoyed the multiple screened in porches. While we didnât swim in the lagoon area, many people did. We did fish at the end of the jetty using the provided fishing gear, but did not swim there as it is very rocky. There are two pools on site that were very nice. The unit has a lot of stairs and they are narrow and slippery. The height of the stairwell entrances are under 6 foot, so tall people will need to watch their heads. There was enough room to have 6 adults comfortable stay. Hosts were very quick to respond to texts throughout the process. Overall, a great place to stay!
Visiting from Nebraska to look at wedding venues. House worked great for 5 adults. Bathrooms on all 3 floors. Loved extra towels and kitchen and bathroom fully stocked.
We love Kawama Club! Our place was great. Very, very clean and well stocked. Everyone very friendly. Two pools and the âjettyâ with beautiful sunsets!
It is a very nice condo great location. It was nearby stores and the Pennekamp state park. Plenty of dishes and towels. The condo is older but clean. It was nice to have a washer and dryer. We did use the pool which was nice and there was a small beach area too. It is a 3 story condo so if you have issues with stairs keep that in mind. Overall, a great place to stay, thank you.
We enjoyed the stay. The condo was great and the family trip was so much fun. One grandson was diving in the coral reef and later down to a sunken vessel. I was the perfect location. We also visited the Sea Turtle Hospital in Marathon. Lovely experience. The condo was terrific and worked perfectly for my family.
P.S. One of the best equipped kitchens I've had at a rental.
The location is easy to find and convenient to most places you'll want to visit. The place was clean and well kept. There were lots of useful extras. There was laundry soap, all kitchen cleaning supplies, random device chargers, plenty of cups, plates, cooking utensils, LOTS of assorted spices and seasonings for cooking. Plenty of coffee and tea. Fridge had plenty of condiments. Only semi issues was the 2 bikes that were there to use needed work and weren't usable, but that's the only negative worth mentioning.
This property was exactly was as described! This was a first time traveling with these family members who had never been to Florida or experienced VRBO. From communication with owners prior to our stay to our departure, everything went great. The condo was situated in a way that was convenient for 3 couples and a child to be comfortable, experience FL to hanging out at condo utilizing the pool and lagoon. We would definitely consider staying here ago. Kudos to Lucia and her family!
From start to finish, easy and very nice. The property is located in a perfect spot, near shopping, dining, etc. Lucia is wonderful with communication. The home is very well stocked for your needs, plenty of towels, bedding etc. I personally slept on the couch downstairs and it was very comfortable! Spacious and spread out so that each of your guests will have privacy. Very nice balconies for sitting outside. I would recommend purchasing some no-see-um bug spray if you intend to sit outside of the screened in area. In Florida these little bugs can really get someone, they never seem to bother me, but some people are more sensitive than others. The spray can be found just about anywhere as they are quite popular in Florida :)
Thank you Lucia for allowing us ladies to stay at your property, very much appreciated and comfortable!
The condo was very nice . I am a cook and the kitchen was well stocked.
We had a couple of minor problems and owners fixed them right away .
Had plenty of towels and beds were comfortable. Unit was clean .
It faced the beautiful lagoon and was very peaceful in the morning, listening to birds .
There are many activities in the complex to do and restaurants are close by . The two pools were very nice with all new chairs and umbrellas for shade .
My friend and I stayed 24 days and really liked the condo . There were two big TVs in the unit . I would have liked a tv in bedroom but that is just a personal wish . The balconies were nice to sit and read or eat on small table .
I would recommend the condo for friends or family . Again the owners were so nice to work with .
We had a awesome golf cart to ride around in too ! Had two bikes also .
Great property. It was all we had hoped it would be. The location was in a quiet gated community, convenient our dive boat and restaurants. I would definitely book it again.
Directions were accurate, check in was easy and everything was as advertised. The condo was very nice and accommodated 10 of us, the kids slept on sleeper sofas and air mattresses. The kids snorkeled and kayaked in the lagoon daily and searched for sea critters along the shoreline at night. We all enjoyed the sunrises at the beach as well as the fire pits in the evening. The condo was well stocked with cookware and linens. Location is great with shopping nearby, but once you are here you really don't want to leave. Our family would definitely stay here again.
The lodging was great. Large well stocked kitchen. Plenty of outdoor decks to sit on.
Three bathrooms come in handy with a larger family. Plenty of activities and options on the property. We enjoyed snorkeling, swimming, walks to the pier for sunrise and sunset, tennis, bike riding, strolling around the lagoon, walking in the shallow ocean water, swimming in the pool and lagoon, and on... One issue that came up while we were there is the kitchen breaker tripped, but with a little help we were able to reset the breaker.
We stayed at this property for our Spring Break vacation. It was a great choice. Everyone loved the unit and the amenities. The kids especially enjoyed kayaking and swimming in the lagoon just out the back door. We also enjoyed some great time at the pool and on the beach. Our friends who were with us, staying at another property, were quite envious of the great deal that we found in this one. It is a gated property, which made us feel safe, but very easy to come and go as we pleased during the week. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a family space to stay in the Keys.
Loved staying here. Clean and well equipped. Close to restaurants and activities. Only suggestion would be to clean out some of the food left in the refrigerator. The door was full of old food when we got there.
Well outfitted kitchen and put some more of it to use on this visit. Handy cooler for outings, fridges left stocked from previous guests and family visits, paying it forward. Updated windows and doors. Dining area well lit for board games and puzzles at the dining table. Separate additional lighting for those wanting to read on the couch/sofa chairs.
Our long time favorite winter getaway from the north!
We are mostly New England natives now living all over. We are Red Sox fans, occasional (OK, often) party animals, nature lovers, educators, and experienced divers. We love Key Largo and are confident you will, too!
Most of us have been visiting Key Largo too long to admit, dating back to when Nana first moved to the Rock Harbor club (just down the road) in the 1970s. We've been vacationing down here ever since, and it holds a dear spot for multiple generations in our families. We have fond memories here... of being young, of key lime pie and rum runners, dive trips, and stone crab. We've even had a couple family weddings here!
In 2014, we suddenly lost a father, husband, and friend. When the opportunity suddenly arose in 2015 to finally have our own place in Key Largo (something he and his wife had long wanted), it seemed too wonderful to pass up. While celebrating a milestone birthday together in Key Largo in the summer of 2015, we drank enough to finally do it! ...or so the story goes. We hope you enjoy our home away from home as much as we do!
Kawama's -- well, Key Largo's -- unique location truly provides something for everyone! The modern, spacious, air-conditioned unit is safe and accommodating for tiny guests on their first trip to the Keys and older guests needing a relaxing getaway. Children can splash around in the pools or lagoon, play on the playground, or go exploring to meet some native iguanas! Active guests can can go for morning walks or runs around the lagoon or on the water; do yoga in the bay; and/or participate in a wide variety of water sports at any of the local vendors along Overseas Highway, or Rte. 1, (we even suggest a few here!) or in Pennekamp State Park. Those seeking a more peaceful getaway can sip refreshing beverages and play board games on the porch or watch TV. Love seafood? Key Largo will rock your world. Are you a serious diver?
