In town and right across from Sunday Lake. Newly refurbished house with a clean bright interior. Awesome for 2 couples, a family or just a nice getaway by yourself. Enjoy all the comforts of home and a 55 inch smart TV for the evenings. This house is very cozy and beautifully redone. It feels like home. Very comfortable and an easy place to relax.
For the comfort of all our guests "NO SMOKING" anywhere within the house or garage.
We really enjoyed our stay at Michael's house. It was large, spacious, clean & had everything we needed. Its a good location, close to the 5 Black River waterfalls in the Ottawa National forest and the Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park plus much more. Lots to see and do in the area.
The house is clean, large, and well stocked. It was a great home base for our ski weekend at Jackson Creek Summit and Black River basin. I wish definitely recommend!
This house is so clean, nicely updated, and well stocked. It was the perfect home base for a ski weekend. Great experience. Weâd love to come back in the summer and explore waterfalls!
House was clean, clearly a property purchased and flipped with the intent to vrbo. Beds were very uncomfortable. Couch was comfy though! Interior was cute with lots of natural light, exterior and surrounding area was a little rundown. Close to some waterfalls and this was our base for the Porkies!
Great location for the ski hills in the UP! The house was comfortable, extremely clean and well stocked with necessities. We have stayed at the owners properties for several years and love returning each year!!
Family of 5 stayed for skiing at Snow River. Very close and convenient to ski hills. Warm, cozy and well decorated home. Well stocked (everything), clean and perfect space for our group after a day on the slopes.
This was in a great location for skiing at Snowriver. The house is very cute inside and was very cozy. The host Michael was easy to communicate with. He left us some great ideas for restaurants and let us check out late as well. We will be staying here again.
We were so impressed with this home and location! We planned to watch fireworks from Sunday Lake and had an awesome view!! Rode over 130 miles on ATV trails and went to places we have never seen in years of visiting the UP. OUTSTANDING.
The house was clean and inviting with an open floor plan. Great living room with plenty of comfortable seating. The kitchen was well equipped. Lots of windows. Nice entry way to store ski equipment. Beds were comfortable. No complaints.
We had a wonderful time staying at this property! We were in town for a celebration of life and location was perfect. We enjoyed walks by the lake and playing baseball at the Sunday Lake ball field. House was clean, well kept and property manager very easy to work with. Highly recommend Club 28 and the root beer stand. We will stay again when we come back to visit family in the U.P
Michael was really great with communication, which made the check-in process very simple. We came to town for a basketball tournament, so we did not spend a lot of time at the house. However, the time we spent was very pleasurable. The beds were comfortable and Michael was willing to accommodate anything we needed. Loved our stay!
There was four of us that went up to the U.P. snowmobiling. The house is great, very clean and had everything we needed. The only drawback is that you cannot park your vehicles on the streets in Wakefield during the winter. So we had to park our truck and trailer at the Krist gas station and ride the snowmobiles back to the house.
Wonderful house, constantly improving The Host knows his town and gave Great recommendations for where to go and where to eat. We went from Hurley up to the shores of Lake Superior rock hunting, and also went to Copper Peak Ski Jump. What a wonderful view and the guides were courteous and very knowledgeable. The Second Day we went to Copper Harbor for lunch and went on top of Brockway Mountain and could see for miles. This is a wonderful house within reach of the western UP attractions
We are returning guests. The Hantons are great hosts. This is a great place to stay. House is accurately described. Living room is space. Kitchen is well stocked if you want to cook. Ski hills are close along with other activities such as waterfalls and the Porkies. This is my goto place and we are already planning another trip.
The living room, dining area, and kitchen are very nice, and there is a good restaurant and breakfast place nearby. The house was clean and tidy, but the beds were so bad that we had to leave a early, forefeit our payment and get a hotel in Marquette. Not the greatest way to start one's fortieth anniversay!
