Convenience, style, and comfort. The K4 Base Lodge at Whiffletree is your perfect home base for enjoying Killington Mountain, only 1 mile to lifts! The condo has a free weekend/peak week shuttle to the Killington base lodges for winter activities and a ski home trail off of Snowshed.
Sink into the comfy sofas and watch your favorite shows on the Roku Smart TV. Kitchen is ready for cooking at home or head out to restaurants only minutes away. Our goal is for you to have a five star experience! We cater to families and groups.
This newly renovated condo has an open concept kitchen, living, and dining room with an easy-to-use gas fireplace. The leather couches are exceptionally comfortable and one folds out to create an additional queen size bed! The kitchen has a drip coffee machine and everything you need for cooking at home. We provide all bed linens and bath towels.
The master bedroom offers a king size bed that sleeps 2 with an attached bath. The master bathroom has a stall shower.
The second bedroom has a queen bed and sleeps 2.
The third bedroom has two twin bunk beds and sleeps 4.
The second bathroom includes a shower/bathtub combo.
We travel with young children and understand how much stuff you need to bring along. We provide a travel crib, high chair, and children's dinnerware sets to make your life a little easier when bringing kids on a trip.
We have high standards for cleaning. All linens, including duvet covers, are washed between every guest.
There is a free (shared) washer and dryer located one level below in the same building. You are welcome to use the laundry facilities during your stay.
The condo complex is just a 2-3 minute drive to the lifts at Killington. The complex offers a free weekend/peak week shuttle to the lifts during ski season and has a ski home trail that is open most of the season pending snow conditions. The condo complex also has tennis courts and a playground open during the warmer months as well as a pool that is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
Guests have access to all areas inside the condo with the exception of one locked closet in the twin bunk room which is a storage closet. There is another closet in the twin bunk room for guest use.
Beth & Kurt are only an Airbnb message or phone call away if you need anything. We are happy to help our guests.
We spend a lot of time in Killington but if we are not there during your stay we have local contacts for in person help if needed. Additionally, Whiffletree has a local management company available for assistance.
The Whiffletree condos are located only a few minutes from the Snowshed, Ramshead, and K1 Base Lodges. The Bear Mountain Base Lodge is also easily accessible. Enjoy a free shuttle to and from the mountain in the winter or just take it there and ski home off Snowshed when there is natural snow.
Whiffletree has tennis courts and a small playground available for the warmer months and an outdoor pool in the summer.
The complex is only minutes away from all the restaurants and shops on the Killington access road.
CONDO RULES-
1) No Parties. The neighbors are quick to call if anything begins to get out of hand, so please do not intend to have a party or it will be shut down immediately and your reservation will end without refund.
2) Occupancy limits: Be sure to book with the correct number of guests. Unless given prior approval from the host, there cannot be any more than 8 persons in or on the property at any one point in time. A violation of this could result in immediate removal of all guests without refund.
3) Self check-in: Please inform your host of your anticipated check in and check out time so we can be available to help if needed. This is a self check-in property. You certify that you are willing and able to follow instructions that you are being provided through the check in guide as well as messages youâve received from your host on the platform and via your email account linked to the platform. You also agree that you will read your check in instructions before contacting your host with questions.
4) Please be mindful of our neighbors during your stay. Our property's quiet hours of 10pm to 9am are in place according to the condo association bylaws. We care a lot about maintaining good relationships with our community, so we appreciate you following our rules during your stay.
5) This condo is privately owned; the owners and managers are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities (including use of hot tub). The Homeowners and managers are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
6) Keep the property and all furnishings in good order and use the furnishings only for their intended use. Bunk beds are inherently dangerous. Please monitor children when in use. Absolutely no jumping on/off the beds.
7) Only use appliances for their intended uses and do not flush any paper products or other products except for toilet paper in the toilet. Do not flush any type of wipes, paper towels, feminine hygiene products, diapers, etc. Any of these items can damage our septic system and you will be charged accordingly.
8) No smoking or illegal drugs allowed inside. This is a non-smoking building. Any type of smoke is prohibited. You are welcome to smoke outside. Please clean up and properly dispose of your own cigarette butts and ash, do not throw butts on the ground or in the snow outside.
9) Storms:
If there is a severe storm or hurricane, no refunds will be given unless:
âą The state or local authorities order mandatory evacuations and/or
âą A "mandatory evacuation order has been given for the area of residence of a vacationing guest.
âą The day that the authorities order a mandatory evacuation, we will refund:
o Any unused portion of rent from a guest currently registered;
o Any unused portion of rent from a guest that is scheduled to arrive, and wants to shorten the stay, to come in after the evacuation is lifted; and
o Any advance rents collected or deposited for a reservation that is scheduled to arrive during the "evacuation" period.
10) You may be charged additional fees if house rules are broken. This includes potential fees for:
- Unauthorized Late Checkout. Checkout is at 11am unless otherwise authorized in writing by the host. Failure to check out by 11am will result in additional fees charged by the hour.
- Extra Cleaning. Our cleaning fee is based on a âCourteous guestâ that leaves the place in similar condition to which it was found. Extra cleaning fees incurred by host from turnover crew due to excessive trash, pet messes, etc. will be the financial responsibility of the guest.Â
- Loss of Rental. Any violation of any house rule (checking out late, leaving a mess, etc) that results in additional losses to the host for having to discount or refund the next guest will be the full responsibility of the offending guest in addition to any applicable fees.
11) ADDITIONAL APPLICABLE RULES AND REGULATIONS OF WHIFFLETREE CONDOMINIUMS:
These Rules and Regulations are promulgated pursuant to Article VII of the "BYLAWS OF WHIFFLETREE CONDOMINIUMS". These Rules and Regulations may be amended at any time, as needed, by a simple majority vote of the owners. Renters are required to adhere to all rules and regulations. The Unit owner and/or Rental Agent will be responsible for fines with respect to willful / knowing violations by renters. A BOD modified Rules and Regulations document for renters will be posted in each Rental Unit.
- Each Unit and its appurtenant limited common area shall be kept clean and free of unsightly, offensive or dangerous objects.
- No dirt or dust shall be swept, thrown or shaken from any door, window, balcony or Entry Tower.
- No person shall cause or permit any unusual or objectionable noises or odors to be produced in or emanate from any Unit, and no person shall do or permit anyone else to do anything which would interfere with the rights, comforts or convenience of other person or would injure or scar any part of the condominium property or vegetation upon it.
Smoking is not permitted in the Entry Towers.
- No person shall play upon or permit to be played upon any musical instrument, if the same would disturb or annoy any other person.
- The volume of radios, televisions, other electronic devices and the like shall at all times be kept at a sound level which will not disturb others and shall be reduced between the hours of 10:00 PM and 9:00 AM, so as not to disturb other persons.
- No immoral, illegal or offensive activities shall be permitted in any Unit or in any other part of the condominium property. If any person is engaged in any unlawful act in any part of the condominium property, the BOD or any of its agents may request appropriate law enforcement officials to enforce the law.
- Organized sports activities and picnicking shall be permitted in those areas designated by the BOD. Camping is prohibited. Building of fires shall only be done in the provided grills. No grills are to be used on Unit balconies.
- Sunbathing shall be permitted only on individual patios, balconies or within the area of the Pool enclosure.
- The BOD may at any time prohibit any use of any part of the condominium property, if such use in its opinion would be incompatible with recreational living, or would be objectionable to other persons. In addition, the BOD may permit or regulate any use of the condominium property if the permitted or regulated use, in its opinion, would be compatible with recreational living and would not be objectionable to other persons.
