Si vous prĂ©fĂ©rez un sĂ©jour plus relaxant, installez-vous dans une chaise longue au bord du lac et lisez un livre, observez les oiseaux ou partagez des histoires autour du foyer lorsque le soleil se couche.

Oui, vous aurez besoin d'un permis de pĂȘche. Les piscines extĂ©rieures ne sont ouvertes que jusqu'au Memorial Day. Elles ne sont ouvertes que le week-end jusqu'Ă  ce qu'elles soient ouvertes Ă  temps plein, gĂ©nĂ©ralement autour de la 3Ăšme semaine de juin. Les lacs seront accessibles mais sans sauveteurs jusqu'Ă  ce qu'ils y aillent Ă  plein temps au mois de juin. Ainsi, vous pouvez pĂȘcher le lac depuis le rivage. Le lac Wallenpaupack est disponible et les terrains de jeu / terrains de balle / terrains sont toujours ouverts.

Peaceful lovely cabin

The floats in the shed allowed for many wonderful hours floating on Deer Lake. Well appointed comfortable lots of games puzzles dvds-a great place to spend our vacation. Nearby Honesdale/Hawley are very enjoyable.

Fishing getaway with the boys

Beautiful property, great fishing spot, right on deer lake, only a short walk or drive to the main lake. Spacious house with everything you need outside to enjoy some fishing, fires and nature.

Our family had a wonderful stay at the property. The location right on the water with its private dock was perfect. We enjoyed paddling around the lake in the kayaks, walking around the lake and soaking in the scenery. The weather was perfect, almost fall-like. In addition to seeing deer, ducks and blue heron, we also took a shirt drive to Lacawac Sanctuary to do a little hiking, take in the peaceful views and learn more about our environment. Overall, very relaxing and peaceful.

This is an absolutely lovely cabin nestled in a wonderful lakeside gem of a community. Our family had a truly excellent stay at the end of our long summer - just in time for our little guy to start kindergarten. The house is super charming, roomy, well furnished, and has everything you might want! There are plenty of family fun activities in the area, the beach on the lake is close and very well kept, and there's even a community pool with great snacks and even more fun. We made so many memories together on this trip!!The whole family had a fantastic time and we are really grateful to have been able to share in everything this magnificent place has to offer!

great getaway

Beautiful location in the middle of nature. Steps to the water and use of kayaks appreciated. Some amenities missing (soap & shampoo). Did not use the basement because family member sensitivity to mustiness. Overall, a great quiet getaway!

Nice location

Was in a quite private area. House does need updating for the price per night we paid. Was big enough for my family of 3. First nice we were there a bat was in my granddaughters room may have come from a hole in the wall where it looks like a crawl space is...did have a musty smell and the dock was ok, its a floating dock and boats were always passing so it made it very unstable to stand we took chairs to sit on. It was an ok stay......fishing off dock was good got some fish.

The place was beautiful and the community was great. The little pond in front of the house is great for kayaking or floating around. The gym and lake are just down the hill.One thing that the description of the house didn't highlight was the downstairs apartment. I was mad because I took the master bedroom, that doesn't have an AC unit, and my son took the basement.

Relaxing family vacation spot

A great secluded spot for a family vacation to "get away from it all" offering all that relaxing lake life can offer. The rustic cabin is perfect for our family and we enjoy all of the neighborhood activities. We also enjoy the swimming dock, fire pit, screen porch, kayaks, floats and (hidden) poker table!

Great Vacation

Another great vacation in the Poconos. Nice quiet lake and great for kayaking - not too big. Great for walks to "the big lake" and around the "small lake". Nice snack bar with very good ice cream. Close to markets and restaurants. This was our 2nd stay at the house and we would come back. Cindy (who manages the rental) is great to work with.

Wonderful family retreat

Absolutely love it there. Another great time spent with family relaxing and fishing,playing games and hanging by the fire. The deer this year were amazing. They were coming up and the kids loved feeding them. We hope to make this a tradition for years to come.

Family week

House and location were perfect for family to unplug from screens and technology for a week. Lots of time on the big lake as we rented a boats a couple days. When we were not out there we were either paddling to the beach or hanging at the pool in the community. All were very welcoming and had a great time!!

Lake! Lake! Lake!

Can’t beat a week on a lake. Having kayaks available is great. We kayaked everyday. So easy to get in the water. Comfy place. Love it there. Oh and the wildlife was fantastic! ❀❀❀❀

Perfect Weekend

This home was perfect for our family - my husband, myself, and our three young children. The home was so cozy and the location was perfect. We spent the entire weekend in and on the lake or enjoying the pool. After the kids went to bed, my husband and I spent the night on the patio watching the sun set on the water. We fell in love with this house and community. We can't wait to come back!

Beautiful location

The lake area is beautiful and there is a lot on offer in the community to do. The lake view is amazing and, had it not poured during our visit, there’s a fire pit right near the lake for use. However, the spiders inside the home (and nested in the grill) were out of control. I understand this is a lake home in October, but we’ve booked a similar stay every fall for the last several years and never seen anything like it. I would highly recommend the owners have someone do a spider sweep if the house has been empty a while before a booking.

Cozy house on a quiet lake

This was our second time staying at the Bruno house. We really enjoy the comfy house and the property that is right on the lake in a quiet community. Great lake views from the kitchen and family room space, plus deck and patio. The baseboard heat in all rooms worked great and kept us plenty warm on unusually cold fall days. They supply wood for use with the outdoor fire pit and wood stove. As a guest in the community you also have access to "the big lake" aka Lake Wallenpaupack, which isn't far from the house. There are hiking opportunities nearby and it is a short drive to Hawley and Honesdale. We'll be back again. Thank you Bruno family for sharing your lovely home with us!

Gorgeous Location

The location of this house is wonderful! Right on the lake. Lots of lounge chairs to relax on and just star at the lake. Great dock. Lots of wild life. The home was very dated. Could use a lot of updating. Some faucets didn't work properly so that caused problems for our 4 year old. Its was clean but very musty. We were there 2 weeks and got the place dried up pretty well by leaving the garage door open during the day so the foundation would dry up a little. With all this said the location outweighed the house neglect and we are thinking of booking for next summer.
