We very much enjoyed our stay at this lovely apartment. Drew was very responsive and check in was a breeze. The apartment was just as it was pictured, very cozy and comfortable. We loved the exposed bricks and the lovely touches throughout the home. The view of the river from the two decks was beautiful and a great place for our morning coffee. Hallowell is a charming town and it was great to have all its attractions right outside your door. Drew and Sara have thought of pretty much everything you could need – this was one of the best stocked rental we have stayed at and the popcorn provided in the theatre room was another thoughtful touch. We highly recommend this apartment and hope to stay there on our next visit to Hallowell.

The property was meticulously kept. The property was very spacious allowing for working, relaxing and cooking. Appreciated all the details from the dishes to the towels and popcorn! The rental is so cozy, clean and close to everything! Highly recommend. The hosts are responsive, friendly and accommodating! The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is stocked with all kinds of cookware and there are 2 outdoor patios to enjoy. We hope to visit again!

Being able to walk to shopping and restaurants way great.The kitchen was the best stocked we have ever had with movie snacks as being a plus.Sitting in front of the fireplace was great with the river in the background. Out the street side window was fun to see the street busy with activity and people going about their daily activities

Such a hidden gem, this property is a spacious oasis in the charming town of Hallowell. We had such a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend this property to others. The property was easy to locate with ample parking and tons of amenities. The owner was very responsive to questions and even had some great restaurant and sight-seeing recommendations. A wonderful property.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The place was gorgeous. Beautiful view of the river watching the Atlantic sturgeon jumping out of the water and listening to the water flow and trees rustle in the wind. The kitchen was stocked either everything we needed. The upstairs is set up for watching movies with a mini fridge, popcorn (with buckets) and microwave. The bathroom upstairs is large with a washer and dryer and extra linens/towels if needed. Downstairs was cozy with a gas fireplace. There are wireless cell chargers throughout the house. Owner was quick to respond and the one issue we had (not the owners fault) was taken care of immediately. The only thing it didn’t have and we didn’t think about until it was too late was umbrellas. The cute little ice cream shop next door was a good place to meet up with family and enjoy an outdoor table. Grocery stores and Target are close for whatever you need or forgot to bring. The owners thought of everything to make your stay perfect. Highly recommend and will rent again next time I’m in Maine.

Our second time staying with Drew and Sarah at this property. Loved this stay even more. Steps away from fine dining, local bakery, ice cream shop, bars and restaurants, and interesting eclectic shops. The views of the river from the back porches and of the little downtown from the front bay window were so appreciated. Exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. We’ll be back!

The listing was as advertised. Great location and excellent amenities. Drew was very helpful and check in / out was flawless. Only potential draw back is the number of stairs but that was too bad. The TV room was especially great.

Perfect stay

Drew’s place was exactly as expected and he was very attentive. The apartment was beautiful and comfortable. The view over the river was lovely and Hallowell had a number of great places to eat. We are looking forward to returning soon!

The property, the responsiveness of the host, and the checkin process all exceeded our expectations! Everything we needed was provided. Spent mornings watching activities out front from the bay window, and late afternoons on the deck watching the river. When we return to Hallowell, this will be our first choice of places to stay!

From the second we turned the key and opened the door, we felt warm and cozy. A lovely Christmas tree welcomed us, lights on and glimmering. The home was well appointed with everything you could possible need and the special touches throughout were simply heart warming. Every inch of this home was clean! I could tell this home was loved by a special family! We enjoyed waking out of the front door and down the quaint sidewalk to pubs and coffee shops. I felt like we were in a Hallmark Village. Everyone was so nice. We can’t wait to come back! By far, the best place we have ever stayed!

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay while in Hallowell. Everything about our experience was perfect. Plenty of sitting areas, both inside and out, and even though the apartment is on the Main Street in Hallowell, when you sit out back and watch the river, it is so peaceful! We loved the popcorn and all the coffee that was available for our consumption! The space was very clean and bright. The hosts were very easy to communicate with. I would 100% recommend staying here and hope to return again!
