Very handy flat

We had a great time based in this apartment. The location is easily accessible from and too all of tokyo via the circle yamamoto line. Yet we felt we were living in an ordinary suburb and had some insight into what this might be like. The local people are very friendly.The flat is small but has everything needed. Beds very comfy and shower works well. We were very happy here!

Wonderful Stay!

Maki is an outstanding host- very communicative and replied to my questions within minutes. The apartment was just as described- perfect for our small group. We loved that there was a washer and balcony with a line to dry our clothes. We really enjoyed the neighborhood! Lots of restaurants and a grocery store around the corner. Highly recommend!

Very convenient and comfortable stay

The apartment is straightforward and comfortable. We really appreciated how close it was to the train station and that there were places to eat very close to the apartment. We were able to walk to a Japanese garden and enjoyed that as well. The communication with the owner was Great and the instructions were also thorough and clear. She also provided photos to make sure that we found the apartment easily.

Great Authentic Tokyo Stay

We stayed at this place at the beginning of our Japan trip for four nights. Given how close Komegome station is, the place is very easy to get to. Also, Maki provided excellent instructions on how to get to the place so we could easily find it and not be overwhelmed upon arriving in Tokyo. The area has some great restaurants and good shopping. The accommodations were very comfortable for the three of us with everything in the place that we needed. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Authentic Tokyo experience

Perfect location for exploring Tokyo with easy access to JR Yamanote line but in a quieter neighbourhood with lots of character and convenience. The apartment felt typical for Tokyo. I'd be happy to stay here again.

Beste Wahl, zum Wohlfühlen

In allen Punkten super, die Wohnung liegt sehr günstig, check in absolut einfach, Maki sandte uns im Vorfeld eine grandiose Wegbeschreibung und gab alle wichtigen Infos. Wir fühlten uns rundum sehr wohl. Absolut perfekt wäre eine neue Matratze auf dem Sofa und eine leisere Klimaanlage. Danke Maki!

場所が良かった。

駒込駅から近く、コンビニや商店街もあり、いろいろ美味しい食べ物屋さんがまわりにありました。特に生パスタのお店（こば屋）は良かったです。借りたお部屋に関しては、Wi-Fiが早くて助かりました。しかし今回大人四人だったので、ベッド４つ分あったのは良かったのですが、リビングにあるソファがベッドになるタイプのほうはマットレスがやわらかすぎて腰を悪くしました。。。あと洗濯機を使ったのですが、中のごみを取るフィルターがめちゃくちゃ汚くて匂いもあり、使いたくなくなるほどでしたが、自分でどうにかきれいにして使いました。あと棚にあったグラスにひびが入っているものもありました。お風呂はすごいきれいというかんじではなかったです。風呂の椅子があったらもっとよかったです。全体的にはエレベーターも使えて場所的にも便利でしたし良かったです。

Quiet and easy access

For a first time in Japan this location was great. With easy access to the JY line it helped us make the most of our few days in Tokyo. The neighbourhood is peaceful. The apartment was very clean and the host very helpful.

A great home base in a quiet neighborhood

We could not have been more happy with our stay here! Kamagome is a quiet, slow-paced neighborhood that was perfect to get away from the craziness of Tokyo (Shinjuku, Shibuya, Akihabara, etc). It is a perfect stop on the Yamanote line and the shops in the neighborhood were perfect. Maki's communication was spectacular and we had zero problems. The apartment was perfect for my self, my sister, and my 2 adult children. The space was a little tight, but that's a city for you! I would stay here again and recommend without hesitation!

Cozy feel w all amenities in a great location

Greatly enjoyed our time in Tokyo. Easy walking to a station on the Yamanote line made navigating the city easy. The apt was well furnished w a delightful balcony. We would be happy to stay here again.

Casa carinissima

Ci siamo trovati molto bene. La casa era pulita e in ottima posizione dato che si trova a 3 minuti a piedi dalla stazione. Il proprietario molto gentile e pronto a soddisfare qualsiasi delle nostre esigenze. Non si può chiedere di più.

conveniently located-apartment close to JRstation

The 2 twin beds in the living room were most comfortable according to my son. The working AC in both rooms helped with the sweltering summer heat. The western kitchen table/chairs, the stove and refrigerator was very convenient for breakfast and late dinner after arriving very late due to the cancellations of the shinkansen from kyoto during the Typhoon and Obon-Yasumi week. Overall the apartment itself is a good one but the building maintenance (smell in the elevator and dirt/vomit/cans in stairwell) needs some work. The location is very convenient with a lot of konbini and restaurant along the way to and from the JR station.

Great place to stay

Perfect size for four adults. Instructions were easy to follow. Maki was very responsive to all communication. Neighbourhood is very cute and welcoming and short walk to train made for very easy travel.

Akihabara shopping

We love the location of the apartment to akihabara and tokyo. It’s vibe is 1960s and i loved that. Maki is very helpful and thorough with his information. We would stay here again!

Nice home base in a neighborhood

If you are looking for a place to stay in a residential neighborhood, this is a great place. It's in an area that's away from commercial centers, but still very close to the train station. There are multiple convenience stores, supermarkets, and drugstores nearby, and there's a long street with lots of shops, ranging from used clothing to fresh tofu to flowers that was fun to walk through. We went to one of the gardens nearby, and it was very nice. The train connection is not always the best, depending on where you plan to go, but we wanted to be away from the busy areas, and this was perfect. It's cozy for four adults, but totally adequate. We didn't cook much, but there's a functional kitchen, with a good fridge and a microwave. The washer was very nice to have, given the heat wave while we were there. We actually stayed in two different units offered by the same owner during our stay (because we left Tokyo in between), and we were happy with both units. The property manager was extremely responsive.

Our favorite japan stay!!!

Check in and location were so easy to find ans access! The owners were in communication days before our stay started sending detailed information and pictures for us to get to and inside the rental. The property is an apartment styled building but has an elevator to help with luggage. The area was so fun to walk around in. Lots of loval restaurants and shops, the subway station was right down the street for very easy travel and there were so many adorable café and coffee shops in the area thats I'd highly recommend! The unit itself was great for the few days we stayed. Veey clean and big enough for 4 adults, laundry was provided and the floor mats/beds were so comfortable and like a memory foam. Highly highly recommend for your stay in Tokyo!!

Home-like neighborhood with easy rail access

Comfortable, well appointed apartment in a quiet area of Tokyo. A very short walk to a subway station on the JR line. Home-like atmosphere with restaurants, grocery store, and beautiful Japanese garden close by. Friendly and helpful hosts that were easy to communicate with.
