This place was perfect for our weekend get away. Peter was a great host, definitely will stay here again when visiting Fort Worth again. Beds were super comfy
This property is okay but certainly not exceptional. We chose it for its close proximity to my sonâs house. First of all, we had to get rid of several Texas size cockroaches!!! Secondly the icemaker was absent. Thirdly, there was not one extra blanket or throw to snuggle on the couch with OR even more importantly if someone wanted to sleep on the living room sofa! Covers on the beds were thin as well. Also, mattresses were hard as can be. It was adequate but would never stay there again.
Location not convenient to shopping or restaurants.but we had car so non issue. Loved the two bathrooms! Very nice and pretty. Close to arts district. Plus left note in quest book For iwner/manager
The property was very nice and quiet. It was very clean and super comfortable. The communication with the property manager was great! He made us feel very welcomed.
This was a beautiful home with three bedrooms and three king size beds! The house was clean and comfortable. We were very close to TCU and travel to and from TCU events was easy. We will definitely stay here again.
Itâs was a perfect home for me and my family, the area was amazing so close to a lot of fun places for kids also close to many stores for a quick run. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.
I wouldâve given it five out of five stars if it hadnât been for the following. First thing we noticed when we pulled up weeds, and some spots of the yard were knee-high both front and back. Obviously the yard had not been mowed in a very long time. Then inside the house, the sink in the bathroom near the bedrooms, ran very slow and had an odor to it. After that, we noticed that the deck in back had a potential of being very nice, but the vegetation had fallen from the trees and was all over the deck and made it very un appealing along with the high grass. Last item was the washer and dryer looked very new and worked great with the exception of the dryer, not being able to finish drying your clothes. There was plenty of heat in the dryer, but obviously the vent leading to the outside was plugged and needs to be cleaned out. If it hadnât been for those things, I would say I would stay there again, but at the end of the day I emailed the owner and they didnât bother replying.
Pros: Neighborhood is quiet and quaint. The Trinity Trails are great, went on a few runs there. Some good updates (the TVs all worked great, one in each room and in the main room).Cons: Showed up and all the dishes that were put away were not washed (food particles, grease, finger and lip marks on the cups, silverware coated with whatever they were last used for), it was obviously just rinsed under water to wash off anything big and put away. Had to throw all the dishes in the dishwasher (which cleaned them great) before use. Bathroom floors also were dirty/grimy, which then makes you worry that linens (which looked fine) could have been reused, but it calls everything into question. House just looks much more tired than the photos. It looks like a rental that hasn't had any major touch-ups or maintenance in 10 years. Bed mattresses and pillows feel new but cheap (hard, wont want to side-sleep on these), and bathrooms are similar. Sink wouldn't drain well, dryer took about 3 hours to dry a normal load. Just a lot of small things that make the stay tired. The host apologized for the cleaning problems. Did reimburse for some standard supplies that weren't stocked that I had to buy.Overall a great location, but lacking house for the price.
