We’re delighted to bring our gorgeous Heron’s Rest to market. Located 25 minutes from Cork City, Heron’s Rest is an expertly appointed 4 bedroom family destination with sophistication and calm at its core. Benefitting from lush woods to the rear and the sea to the front, the house follows an unmistakable coastal-chic aesthetic of clean lines, lavish furniture and a soothing palette, serving as a restful oasis while the forests, sea and gardens that surround it captivate the five senses.


Making the most of beautiful views of the water and nearby fishing village Crosshaven, the kitchen, living room and cosy den can be found on the 1st floor, while the three of the house’s four tranquil bedroom’s are to be found downstairs on the ground floor. Beautiful armchairs placed in the bay window of the living room supply the perfect nook for readers and adventure planners alike, while the small terrace surrounded by apple trees and lavender is ideal for morning coffee or a moonlit glass of wine.


Guests are encouraged to feel at home at Heron's Rest over the course of their stay, and the entirety of the main house and garden is at their disposal. The house also boasts private access to the majestic Currabinny Woods: an 80 acre expanse of woodland trails through diverse species of trees and remnants of Bronze Age habitation.

The house is adorned throughout with the work of Irish artists and photographers, as well as the country’s best loved designers.
