Thank you for the feedback, Marilynn. We have taken your feedback to heart and we did replace the living room furniture, as well as the bedding, towels, and the microwave. We have also had a good deep cleaning done as well as the carpets cleaned. Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry that you were disappointed with your stay. The renters that were there before you had two dogs. While we do expect pet owners staying at our house to pick up after their pets, this clearly didn’t happen and we failed to make sure of that before you arrived. Once you made us aware of this, we did attempt to call you several times as we always want to address concerns timely that our renters bring to our attention. We did end up speaking to you on the phone where we apologized and thanked you for not only picking it up but for letting us know so that we could put measures in place to make sure this doesn’t happen again, as we agree that this is unacceptable. At that time, you stated you didn’t mind having to pick it up but thought we would want to know, which we assure you we did and are very thankful to have been made aware. Again, we are very sorry this happened and are working to make sure it doesn’t happen in the future by adding additional checks to our outside area. We also apologize if there was a misunderstanding about the garage. It is stated under our amenities that we keep a car in the garage and we additionally have a photo showing the car in the garage to bring it to potential renters attention. We realize there is a lot of information about the house in our listing, so it may be easy to miss details, but feel it is important to include everything so that people are able to make informed decisions. If there is a specific need, request, or question we would always invite renters to reach out to us ahead of time for this information or to clarify. Ray & Kelly

Nicole, I’m so sorry for the issues with your stay. Thank you for letting us know. We can’t fix problems if we don’t know they exist, so we really do appreciate the feedback. We plan to do a deep clean of the house and also discuss the issues with our housekeeper so that this is not an issue in the future. In future stays at VRBOs, hosts are available to contact at the time if there are issues. This allows us to fix what we can for your stay and to ensure that we can get these issues remedied before future guests arrive.
