This property has the private bunk house ,the cabin , dock and are all yours to enjoy !
All just redone by Maine Cabin Masters !
We have neighbours on each side of our home but plenty of distance between us ,
We can accommodate renters who bring their boats and need to store the trailer .
One mile or so from the boat launch the local boat mechanic will keep your trailer for sixty dollars a week.
That fee is paid directly to him .

Fantastic location, fantastic space, every accommodation I could have asked for. Including firewood, grill , and of course the separated bungalow for just the 2 of us. We brought our own chairs and grill not know what we would be finding. Turns out having the flat top came in handy, But completely unnecessary. Even provided 2 backup propane tanks.

Cozy family vacation

Wonderful hosts, they thought of everything we might need including many nice extra touches! Beautiful quiet spot with the opportunity to paddle boat, kayak, canoe, swim, fish, enjoy campfires, outdoor grilling, observe wildlife (Osprey, Bald Eagle, Deer)

Lake Life

This is by far the best property we have stayed at in 13 years of going to Maranacook Lake. All the amenities you need - truly - and an emergency kit that rivals any I have seen. Anything you forget they have you covered. It is a beautiful spot near the railway trestle. Excellent fishing and all the solitude you want. Canoes, kayaks, great furniture on the deck and a view to die for. You really can't miss this opportunity to visit the Readfield/Winthrop area. Mary is available to help if you should need it but only one thing we needed. Taken care of quickly too! Can't wait to come back!

Great memories

We lived in the Readfield for 13 years and return in the summers for a week to spend time with family and friends. We have stayed in 4 different cabins over that time. This one was ranked the highest by us, our family, and friends. The location of, and amenities on, the deck were a consistent plus. I personally enjoyed the firepit. The supply of firewood and splitting tools were so convenient. Cooking over the fire on the circular grilling cover was fun: steak, smores, and even pizza. It was the first time I cooked a pizza over a fire and everyone loved it. The dock and moored float pad were in excellent shape and well used. I personally enjoyed the paddle boat. There are plenty of kayaking and canoeing supplies. Lots of floaties for all ages. The extra cabin was a nice bonus. The hanging chair was loved by one of the family members. The air conditioner in the main cabin is very capable of chilling the place down. There are lots of throw blankets and comfy spots to use them. The collection of fishing poles was nice. A trip to Ace hardware for hooks and bait was all that was needed. Easy to catch small fish off of the dock. The decor and style of the cabin was nostalgic and fun. I enjoyed looking around and finding unique and creative elements. There are definitely amenities for all ages. Our kids are grown, but I appreciate the presence of coloring pencils, building blocks, games, child floaties, and kid's movies. The host was very hospitable! Thank you!!

Nice Cabin and location

Nice cabin with everything you need. Stayed here for a week and brought an 18 foot speed boat. The boat trailer can be parked at the marina that the owner will arrange and the boat launch is just a few minutes away from that marina which worked out really well for us. The house is nice and has a Roku TV tuner so bring your Netflix and Amazon password with you. The house's water source is from the lake like most camps so just bring plenty of drinking water. There is no dishwasher so we got some paper plates to cut down on washing dishes. Deck is nice and a grill that actually works was a bonus. Just sit on the deck and listen to the loons. AC works great and was a lifesaver, just make sure you point the remote at the unit. There is a nice private dock for your boat (or kayaks & canoes available at the property) and a separate swim dock that is shared with the neighbor but you most likely won't see anyone on it. There's a fire pit with plenty of wood just bring firestarters and lighter. Note there is no washer/dryer but a laundromat is nearby, so consider bringing extra towels especially with teenagers. Mary the owner was awesome and very responsive. Just a nice relaxing vacation.
