Nous vous mettons au dĂ©fi de trouver un plus bel appartement d'une chambre Ă  Édimbourg!

Grand premier étage * (* 2e étage en Amérique du Nord) appartement d'une chambre donnant sur un jardin privé dans un cul-de-sac géorgien exclusif, prÚs de Heriot Row.

Le spacieux appartement au premier étage comprend une grande chambre double avec salle de bains privative. Le coin cuisine a une cuisiniÚre à gaz / réfrigérateur / congélateur et lave-vaisselle, et comprend un espace utilitaire avec machine à laver et sÚche-linge.

Le grand salon, qui donne sur les magnifiques jardins privés de Queen Street, dispose d'un coin repas séparé. Tous les draps, serviettes, oreillers et couettes sont fournis.

L'appartement est à quelques minutes de la gare de Waverley en taxi. Wemyss Place est juste à cÎté de Queen Street, qui est parallÚle à George Street. Le principal quartier commerçant de Princes Street est facilement accessible à pied. L'appartement dispose également d'une place de parking sécurisée à l'arriÚre du bùtiment.


L'appartement est dans un quartier trĂšs calme et pourtant si proche de toutes les commoditĂ©s et attractions, Ă  distance de marche comme le chĂąteau d'Édimbourg, le Royal Mile, avec Holyrood Palace Ă  une courte distance en voiture. Il y a de nombreux bars, restaurants, cafĂ©s et boutiques Ă  quelques minutes de Rose Street.

Le cĂ©lĂšbre chĂąteau d'Édimbourg est particuliĂšrement beau. En entrant dans la ville, il commande une attention immĂ©diate. L'Ɠil du visiteur est attirĂ© par la structure impressionnante qui s'Ă©lĂšve au-dessus de tout le reste sur ses falaises de granit abruptes. Il y a des vues panoramiques incroyables depuis les Ă©tages supĂ©rieurs du chĂąteau, y compris une vue dĂ©gagĂ©e sur la mer lointaine. Le chĂąteau se dresse en haut de l'immense formation rocheuse qui s'avance au mĂ©pris de tous ceux qui chercheraient Ă  envahir Édimbourg. Castle Rock, comme on l'appelle, est inaccessible sur trois cĂŽtĂ©s et a une longue crĂȘte descendante sur le quatriĂšme cĂŽtĂ©.

Édimbourg regorge d'associations historiques et littĂ©raires: John Knox, Mary Queen of Scots, Robert Louis Stevenson, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (crĂ©ateur de Sherlock Holmes et Dr. Watson), Alexander Graham Bell, Sir Walter Scott et Bonnie Prince Charlie font tous partie de son passĂ©.

We spend 4 days in this flat which is in a great location for exploring Edinburgh. 20 minute walk to the castle and everything around the castle and the royal mile. On one day we took the tram up to Leith and then walked back through Stockbridge and Dean Village. The location is on a quiet side street but close enough to shops and restaurants when needed. I would recommend Little Capo Italian restaurant (reservations needed) and Kay's Bar both right around the corner.The interior has an amazing amount of space for two people and provided a necessary respite from being tourists every day. Having separate full size washer and dryer machines was amazing.Bathroom was a good size. There is a decent step up to get in and out of the tub/shower that would benefit from the addition of a grab bar on the wall. The kitchen was well equipped and came with coffee pods, a loaf of bread, some butter and some fresh fruit which we did not expect but was very much appreciated. There are plenty of written instructions in the flat along with all the necessary appliance manuals. Our only two issues were that we couldn't figure out the hallway lights (but we managed!) and both the sofas desperately need new cushions. Neither of these items should be considered dealbreakers.

We stayed for ten nights and loved this apt. Such a great area, away from the crowds of the royal mile, but easy to walk to. We hung out mostly in Stockbridge, walked the Leith trail and enjoyed the area of Thistle and Rose St. Having a washer and dryer was great. My only suggestion would be to replace the two couches. The springs are so bad, you almost sink to the floor. We still loved the apt and would stay again.

Our stay in the New Town apartment was wonderful. The hosts were very communicative about all the details and everything in the apartment was top notch. Excellent location with keys to the private park across the street added another delightful touch. We loved Edinburgh and would definitely come back to this VRBO!

Lovely airy rooms in a really good area and convenient parking. My only negative was the bed linen, particularly the fitted sheet which didn’t fit properly. Also there weren’t any pillow protectors and the pillows were grubby and stained.

Amazing!!!

My wife and I stayed at this VRBO in July 2025. This accommodation is absolutely spotless-so very clean. We stayed for four nights and it found it to be was very quiet, we heard no noise. So close to everything Edinburgh has to offer. Easy walking distance to Edinburgh Castle, Hollyrood Palace and of course “The Royal Mile”. Many shops, cafes and pubs nearby. I highly recommend this rental due to its comfort, cleanliness and proximity to everything. If I could make one recommendation to the property owner, it would be to replace the sofas in the living room. The springs are gone. All in all, a fantastic place to stay with in suite laundry and included parking. Thanks so much Paul and Pippa!!!

Great apartment, in a great location, in a great city. The food goodies that were supplied were much appreciated. The kitchen has everything needed for meal preparation, we took advantage of the weekend farmer markets and were able to have some fun Scottish meals.The apartment is in a quite area across from the private park but within a 10 minute walk of countless restaurants, bars and services.Unfortunately I didn’t study all the check-in info in detail that was sent to me. Pay close attention to the check in PDF as it is the only detailed info on exact building and apartment location.

Georgian elegance

We had a lovely stay in this stylish and characterful property. Very spacious rooms with a great outlook onto Queen Street Gardens. As others have said, a quiet location despite being in the heart of the New Town. Warm and cosy even though the weather was quite chilly!

Superb flat in the New Town

A lovely stay in Edinburgh. Comfortable and posh - a rare combination! We liked the location, the parking, the laundry facilities, the views. Spotlessly clean. Very accommodating hosts who allowed us to shift our booking dates by one day at very little notice. Would highly recommend.

Owner turned off heat

Our stay consisted of seven days total. Unfortunately the owner programmed the thermostat to TURN OFF THE HEAT every night starting at 16:30 and not having it come on until the next morning around 9 AM. We woke up our first night at 3:30am with the temperature in the apartment at 47 degrees the next night this occurred again, we ended up sleeping in the living room on the couches as the bedroom became too cold to sleep in. I would’ve never rented this apartment if I knew this. I myself now have a severe head cold as well as the wife, this absolutely ruined our holiday. I will be seeking a partial or full refund. Do not I repeat do not rent this apartment. I still can’t understand why somebody would turn off the heat during the coldest days of the year in Edinburgh! For the price we paid this for this rental this is completely and totally unacceptable

Incredible location with parking and laundry

My wife and I had a fantastic stay at this apartment. The location is unbeatable, walkable to all the major attractions in Edinburgh. The parking spot was very secure and very easy to use (coming from an American driving on the other side of the road) - we had a car equivalent to a Honda Civic hatchback and had no troubles getting thru the alley or maneuvering into the parking spot. Having a washer and dryer was also a huge plus - these were very easy to use and worked extremely well. Shower was great, plenty of pressure and hot water, bed was comfortable. We didn’t use the kitchen much, but it looked like it had all the accommodations needed. All in all, nothing to complain about, and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a fantastic place to stay that is close to downtown Edinburgh, but still easy to access by car.

Beautiful apartment on a great location

This place is perfect for a visit to see the old town and the new town of Edinburgh. The apartment is beautifully decorated with high ceilings and very large rooms. It is in a very quiet location, yet near everything in a very busy city. The parking space was a huge bonus. We parked the car and never needed it since you are within walking distance to all of the main attractions. Most of our favorite restaurants and pubs were within a few blocks of the apartment.

Great location at Queen Street

10-minute walk to Stockbridge area; 10 minutes to Princes Street; great restaurants nearby on Rose Street; private park (Queen Street Gardens) right across the street. And the room has full kitchen, laundry, and separate dining/living room. Great place — would stay here again.

Fantastic Apartment!

The apartment is fantastic! I stayed three nights and throughly enjoyed my stay. The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood in but you can easily walk to Princes Street in 10 minutes. I loved the setup of the apartment and it had everything I needed, and then some. The hosts were very communicative and gave clear instruction for using the apartment. I wish I could have stayed longer!

Wonderful property

A large, well-appointed flat in an outstanding location. New Town is within easy walking distance to all of Edinburgh’s tourists destinations, but is an actual neighborhood with lovely shops, restaurants and pubs. We loved sipping coffee overlooking the park. We arrived quite late, and there are no interior stairway lights so it was a bit tricky at first but once we sorted out which key was which we had no problem letting ourselves in. Note that there is one flight of stairs to climb if that is an issue for you. The off-street parking space is just around the corner from the apartment and was so lovely to have.

Recommended but a few cons

This apartment is in a lovely area on a quiet street that is very conveniently located. It is spacious and light with lots of windows. The kitchen is modern and has everything you could want -- plus there was coffee, bread, butter, milk, chocolates, and fruit left for us to eat. Much appreciated. The bed is large and comfortable. A few cons: (1) There are three keys to get in and they're all fussy. (2) The entry area has white carpeting and only a small rug to the side for shoes. It was pouring in Edinburgh two of our days and our suitcases, pants, socks, etc. were soaked -- it was tricky and stressful to avoid dirtying the carpet. (3) Luggage racks are needed in the bedroom. (4) There is nowhere in the bathroom to put toiletries except a very small glass shelf.
