We stayed here for a family visit to Edinburgh.
As advertised, the apartment is beautiful, and the location was perfect for us : In a quiet block of the residential Stockbridge neighborhood, outside of the bustle of central Edinburgh -- but within easy reach of the center of town via foot (30 minutes), taxi (15 minutes) or bus (10 minutes walking + 10 minutes on the bus).
The drawing room is spacious and stunning, with many lovely architectural details and lots of natural light. The kitchen is very small, but well-equipped. Likewise the two bathrooms. The apartment was spotless.
Laura, the manager, was extremely responsive and helpful both prior to and during our stay. She met us at the apartment upon our arrival to orient us, and provided a nice selection of fruit and other snacks for our arrival.
The only negatives we experienced were an occasional, slight odor from the plumbing, and rather squeaky floors, both in this apartment and in the one just above, which on one occasion made it difficult for the lighter sleepers in our group to fall asleep. Neither of these is terribly surprising for a building of this age, and they were minor inconveniences.
