À propos de cet hébergement

Profitez de vos vacances à la plage dans ce magnifique 4 chambres en bord de mer condo! Situé sur la promenade entre B et C Street, cette unité centrale (deuxième étage) d'un triplex est à distance de marche des boutiques, des restaurants, du quai Balboa et de la location de vélos. Ce condo dispose d'une terrasse extérieure privée, mobilier mis à jour, 2 salles de séjour, un nouveau plancher de bois et magnifique sur la mer et le coucher du soleil!

Le salon avant a 2 canapés, une table basse, un fauteuil, télévision à écran plat et une vue phénoménale sur l'océan! Il y a 2 tables à manger, qui peut accueillir 4 et l'autre des sièges 6. La cuisine est équipée de toutes les commodités, y compris un lave-vaisselle, compacteur de déchets et beaucoup de cabinet et d'espace de comptoir pour le stockage et la préparation des aliments. Le dos salon dispose de 2 canapés, une table basse et d'une kitchenette qui comprend un mini-réfrigérateur et un évier. La terrasse extérieure a une table, des chaises et un barbecue, parfait pour traîner et la cuisine pour la famille et les amis!

La suite principale a un lit king avec une salle attenante. La deuxième chambre a un lit queen aussi avec une salle attenante. Les troisième et quatrième chambres ont chacune 2 lits jumeaux. Il y a une autre salle de bain complète dans le couloir vers l'avant de la maison. Il y a un grand canapé-lit dans le dos de la maison.

Il y a 2 places de stationnement en tandem à gauche du garage. Laveuse et sécheuse dans le garage.

Balboa Village est une pittoresque petite ville balnéaire composée de seulement 3 petits blocs adjacents à la jetée de Balboa. Ici vous pouvez parcourir les boutiques, restaurants, bars et FUN Zone. Admirez la vue sur la jetée de Balboa, louez un vélo ou un kayak, ou observez les baleines ou la pêche en haute mer depuis les nombreux bateaux qui quittent le pavillon Balboa tous les jours. Lots of room

The condo is very spacious. We were a party of 7. Never felt we were in each others way. We enjoyed the large dining table and large comfortable sofa. The beds were comfortable. Lots of water pressure and hot water. Off street parking is a real plus in this neighborhood. Wifi service was a little spotty. Easy check in and check out.

Great space, great location, needs some updates

Positives- great large space, plenty of beds and baths for a large group of people. Excellent location with walkability to activities. Negatives- no beach towels (they are offered at an additional “rental” fee), beds/linens need upgrading especially for the ratw, too many checkout rules.

Beachfront location

Very walkable to beach and restaurants. Very spacious and well supplied. I would have given it 5 stars all around except there was a power outage (which wasn't their fault) which was an inconvenience but my mom really enjoyed her 90th birthday surprise.

Fantastic location. Few steps and your on the sand . Great people watching up and down the bike path. Only 1 block until you hit restaurants/bars etc for a meal or nightlife.

The unit was really well stocked and perfectly set up for a family gathering. Loved being right in the beach and boardwalk for the kids. The unit is very close to such a beautiful neighborhood so it made for wonderful morning walks down to The Wedge. We enjoyed the closeness of the Pier and Fun Zone for our evenings getting ice cream with the kids. It was great having a second living room for our teenagers. Plenty of parking. The unit was very clean. Loved hanging out on the balcony, especially for sunset. Highly recommend this unit for a turnkey relaxing vacation.

Lots of Sleeping Space for Large Family!

We have large family of 16 with grandparents and grandkids so we struggle to find room for everyone to sleep. We rented both middle and bottom units and even had room for some friends to spend the night. My only negative feedback is out of the owners hands as this part of Newport/Balboa is known for its large waves that break on the shore. Not great for young kids - so we had to drive down to Blackys and go walk over to the bay for safer swimming. Other than than - this place was very well stocked, clean with comfy beds. We had a great time!

Stay In This Property If You Get The Opportunity!

The Airbnb ad was a little misleading - it implied whole house so, when we found out we were on the second floor only, and did not have the patio for our toddler to play on, we were a little disappointed. But, everything else was exactly as advertised. The unit was clean, comfortably accommodated our group of 7, and the deck offers an awesome view of the beach, ocean, and sunsets. We offer our endorsement of this property and NBVP without hesitation.

Views for a Week

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I had a fabulous time in this property for a week. The property is located right on the boardwalk and as such, we woke up and went to bed to beautiful views of the ocean. The property nicely accommodated our family of 8 with plenty of sleeping room and bathrooms, which is key for us. The property has probably been updated within the last 5ish years and we liked the flooring. There is nothing fabulous about the furnishings but they are comfortable and appear clean. The place is more or less across from the Balboa Fun Zone area with lots of shops and a few places to eat and it is within walking of other shops and restaurants. We rented bikes which the kids rode all over and boogie boards and chairs and towels. Beach towels are not provided. There wasn't a good selection of pots and pans and no scissors in the drawer but a text to management and they brought over a brand new box of pots and pans as well as scissors and a set of knifes over that same day. Very accommodating. Parking was a challenge. There is a tandem spot on the left side of the driveway. However, there is a fence that runs along that side separating it from the place next door making it difficult to get in and out of your car. We also had a huge truck parked next to us on the right all week making it interesting to back out onto Balboa Blvd. Additionally, all the trash cans were put right behind our spot on trash day making it impossible to back out without moving trash cans around. We are from California so we used our cars maybe more than most people. If you don't plan to drive anywhere, then there will not be a problem. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this place to friends.

Very nice Beach property

Awesome location!

Played soccer everyday; rented bikes and rode a couple miles up the beach to dinner and breakfast but plenty of places to eat within a block; went to rubys on pier; volleyball out the door; and the beach!! Very Clean, amazing shower water pressure, roomy for 10, love the deck!

Nice location. Great views, close to many restaurants and bars.

The place was nice. I would suggest getting rid of the furniture that was worn and torn. It would have changed my opinion if it wasn’t there, it was not needed. Plenty or room in all of the bedrooms and plenty of seating throughout the house and on the balcony.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we had a very good visit to Newport. The property location is ideal and there was plenty of room for our family. The furnishings are long overdue for replacement and the kitchen could use a few new pans. The chair in the front living room has several rips and many of the dining chairs had no fabric left on them, just foam to sit on. We had great customer service during our stay, the master shower was slow to drain and they got someone out right away to repair.

Perfect for our Family

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property was perfect for our family and we hope to stay here for many years to come. It is THE perfect location: a full view of the ocean from the ample balcony and living areas; walking distance to the pier, restaurants and shops; just enough pedestrian and bicycle traffic on the boardwalk to make for interesting people-watching and yet far enough from the town center to avoid any congestion or noise. Having 2 parking spots right off of the main boulevard was so convenient. The house and furniture were worn out just enough so as to relieve any fears of ruining anything. The house was decently clean and functional. If you’re renting a house at the beach for its decor, this isn’t the home for you. One caveat for parents with young children: the patio furniture is light enough for young children to push against the railing, stand on and fall over the railing. But the sliding patio door is so heavy that children under about 10 years old really can’t open it.

Great location and layout, but in poor condition!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Always great to be together as a family no matter where we stay. The location and layout of the unit was perfect. however, the condition of the place is old and had issues with chairs that were falling apart in kitchen and dinning area, broken bed was lopsided, mini fridge and closet doors not functioning, my son was able to fix some of the things, because I never heard back after contacting the property manager...The cleaning crew was still there when we arrived at 4PM to check in and I don't think they had a chance to finish, table and floors were dirty. no parking available in garage, had to do laundry in coin operated washer and dryer in the garage. For the expense I would not recommend this property, have paid less and stayed at very clean, good condition property with laundry in the unit and garage parking.

Great Location Not a great home

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I can understand the allure of this Unit 1005E Balboa #2. It is truly Ocean front and the location is perfect. I also understand why this is a direct rental and not on AirBnB or HomeAway. They can't risk negative reviews on this one or they would have to improve the conditions in order to rent it for the high price per night they are demanding, EVEN with it's location and spectacular view. The house had no AC (as advertised), which is not really a big deal on the ocean, EXCEPT none of the windows had any screens so we could not keep the windows open to let the cool ocean breeze in! The beds were the most uncomfortable I have ever experienced. For the price of One night's stay and the owner could easily add memory foam toppers, along with some decent pillows to make the beds a great deal more comfortable. The unit's lack of updates was not an issue, I would happily stay again in this unit just for the location if it were not for the filth we found. This unit is in need of a serious deep cleaning. The stove was so dirty inside when we attempted to cook in the oven and it caught fire. If this was an AirBnB rental, they would have refunded all or part of our stay. This is how bad this place was. It was a holiday weekend so there were little options for us to change, I made sure I washed everything before I used it and thankfully had some of my own linens. I didn't expect to have to work so hard to enjoy my weekend. I would have expected more from the caliber of vacation rental company we used. They themselves have a good reputation, from what I can tell and they were nice to deal with. I did let them know about the issues but by the time they responded via e-mail I was already into my vacation and then ready to leave. When a guest reports an issue like "oven on fire" I would call NOT e-mail them back.
