Great house with awesome views

This house has great access to downtown HR and the mountain. The view from the deck is perfect for happy hour every evening- no need to leave the house. We love it here and keep coming back to this house.

Peaceful beauty

This lovely home is tucked away in the hills away from the hustle and bustle is exactly what we were looking for. The view is amazing mountains and orchards for miles. Pat was quick to respond to questions and the house was clean and had everything we needed for our stay.

Peaceful with stunning views

Spent a long weekend in Hood River for a big family wedding, and this beautiful home made for a very peaceful respite from all the activities. It’s well kept and well stocked, spacious and comfortable and the host was very responsive and helpful with anything we needed. Seeing all the birds and other wild animals wandering the surrounding orchards were a welcome treat! We would definitely stay here again no questions.

Wow, What a view and a lovely home

This residence boasts a breathtaking view and air conditioning, a true blessing during our stay amidst temperatures exceeding 100F. Situated in a tranquil locale, surrounded by pear and apple orchards, it provided serene mornings and evenings on the deck overlooking Mt. Hood. Its close proximity to downtown Hood River, just a 5-minute drive away, added to the convenience. The spacious rooms and ample full bathrooms ensured comfort. Very clean and well-maintained, our stay was trouble-free, and we would gladly return.

Lovely home, gorgeous setting

We enjoyed every aspect of our stay in this home. The home itself is beautifully furnished and equipped, with many comfortable spaces for relaxing or working remotely. The views from the many windows are just fabulous. We would return to Hood River just to stay in this home, which is also very accessible to the city and the neighboring area.

Hood River gem

We stayed 5 days in this wonderful house with amazing views of both Mt. Adams and Mt. Hood and situated in the middle of fruit orchards. We were very comfortable, surrounded by tasteful artwork and all the peace and quiet you could possibly want. A well appointed kitchen, and a master suite away from the rest of the house. If ever in the area again, we will certainly stay here.

Bridal getting ready home.

The bridal party stayed here for space and comfort. The home was beautiful, peaceful and had the room to move about as the bride, family and friends had hair/ makeup and dresses done. The pre-wedding pictures were beautiful! Thank you very much, highly recommend for a relaxing and beautiful vacation.

amazing home-incredible view

My family stayed for a week in August. This home was perfect for relaxing, touring and sleeping. Every comfort was found from slate floors, bamboo floors amazing resort level bathrooms. The view is so incredible with views of Mt. Hood, Mt. Adams and the Hood River Valley. We saw the Perseid Meteor shower from the deck and got in some excellent runs on East Side Road to Pine Grove. Really one of the best vacation rentals that I have stayed in.

So thankful for this home!

We had an amazing stay here- the pictures don’t do this view justice. Pat was extremely communicative, friendly, and understanding, even when we had a bit of a mishap at his home. We were there for our wedding weekend and ended up in a massive wildfire. Pat was extremely gracious about the whole event. We will be back for sure. P.s. you are going to love this massive property!

Best view ever!

Overall this was a great stay for our son's wedding. It was still convenient to town, had the best mountain views ever, and was comfortable. I communicated with the owner several times and they were prompt and accommodating. My only comment is that there were areas that could use some updating. The master bedroom carpet needs replaced and some of the kitchen items as well, but overall great stay and even though the weather didn't cooperate 100% the sunsets were amazing. Also be prepared for a pretty steep gravel drive to the house but worth it for the view.

A Gem

We had a wonderful stay at Pat's property for a family wedding weekend. It was busy and we were out quite a bit, but it felt like home. We didn't find ourselves missing or needing anything, the house is fully equipped. It's apparent a lot of care and love goes into sharing it with others. We dined on the deck Saturday evening, the sunset with Mt. Hood and Mt. Adams was stunning. Host communication was top notch- from booking back in January, up to our arrival. Thank you for offering us this gem in Hood River proper. We were 'outside of the city' but close enough to not feel remote- just a 10 min drive into town. Definitely keeping this one bookmarked for the future. Thank you!

Great views in Hood River

First, the house has incredible views, both of Mt. Hood, the Valley and Mt. Adams. It's pear-picking time and it was great to hear the pickers playing music in the orchards as the made quick work of nearby trees. We picked blackberries on the property and had them fresh in pancakes, smoothies and with ice cream. Nighttime was magical with amazing stars, meteor showers and a thin sliver of a moon setting into the blood-red haze of wildfire smoke on the horizon. The house amenities were great, although a few instruction manuals would have been helpful (coffee maker, espresso machine, and how to cast/connect to the whole-house audio/video ;-). We enjoyed the hot tub in the cooling evenings and mornings. Thanks for hosting us, this was a perfect spot to get away for a bit!

Great location, home design & views!

We really enjoyed the design and location of this home. Big open floor plan, panoramic windows, and huge deck for enjoying the best views in Hood River. We hardly wanted to leave and mostly ate our meals on the deck. It was so peaceful to be surrounded by pear orchards. We enjoyed so many sunrise & sunset views of Mt Hood, Mt Adams, and the valley. We were originally hesitant to book - the pictures are vert accurate. While the home design and views are amazing, there are parts of the home, like the deck and master bedroom that show their age. We loved the brand new hot tub! The home was tidy and mostly clean. The oven could have used a cleaning. The master bedroom closet was perfect for our 3 week stay! We settled right in and can't wait to return. Pat was a super gracious host. Very responsive to all inquiries and helpful when needed.

Amazing place to stay in Hood River!

We had a great time staying at this home. It's a great location, far enough off highway 35 so you can't hear any traffic noise, but close enough for a quick drive into downtown or any of the wineries in the area. We unwinded on the deck each night and took in the amazing views of both Mt. Hood and Mt. Adams. We also enjoyed using the hot tub. The house was stocked with everything we needed and Pat was a prompt communicator. Overall, it was an awesome stay and we will definitely be back!

Lovely location for family vacation

We had a wonderful time at this beauty til property. The house is comfortable, we’ll appointed, and very well located. It’s design takes full advantage of its Mt Hood and Mt Adams views from the common areas and stunning decks. Hood River is less than 19 minutes away and Mt Hood is a quick drive up highway 35. Would highly recommend!
