Cette belle maison d'artisan offre la meilleure valeur dans les gorges avec une vue imprenable et un accès facile à tous les restaurants et magasins de Hood River! Savourez votre petit-déjeuner sur la terrasse couverte à l'extérieur ou dans le coin intérieur tout en admirant le fleuve Columbia avec le mont. Adams en arrière-plan. En plus des vues merveilleuses sur le pont de la rivière Hood, le bluff du saumon blanc et le «site de l'événement», cette maison est située dans l'un des quartiers les plus recherchés de Hood River. Profitez de cet emplacement fantastique pour vous rendre facilement à pied au centre-ville jusqu'à la crème glacée de Mike, la brasserie Double Mountain, la brasserie Full Sail, Brian's Pourhouse, la salle de dégustation des pins ou marcher dans les célèbres escaliers de la ville!

La maison de la rue Columbia est un 3 étages, dans le style «Craftman» avec un salon avec brique d'origine et foyer au gaz mis à jour. La salle à manger adjacente présente des boiseries d'origine magnifiquement entretenues ainsi que des planchers de bois franc dans toute la maison. Tous les étages ont beaucoup de fenêtres et une visualisation facile! L'extérieur est aussi beau que l'intérieur! Asseyez-vous sur le porche avant dans les chaises Adirondack et regardez Hood River passer en profitant de l'aménagement paysager bien fait. La chambre du rez-de-chaussée (1) dispose également de la climatisation et de nouvelles fenêtres avec la demi-salle de bain située à côté de cette chambre. Le sous-sol de débrayage au niveau inférieur a un coin salon / couchage commun et une salle de bain complète avec douche. Ce niveau n'est pas complètement fini mais la salle de bain est complètement finie. Ce niveau de la maison a le sous-sol de sortie à un patio très accueillant. Il est également idéal pour le stockage des équipements.

Après avoir profité de la journée, profitez de la douche extérieure très propre dans la cour arrière magnifiquement aménagée. Détendez-vous sur le patio arrière tout en regardant le jardin grandir. Ou savourez un saumon fraîchement grillé sur le pont arrière!

Great location with a beautiful view. Easy walk to downtown shops and restaurants. Very nice kitchen for cooking dinner.

Beautiful house in a great location. Clean and well kept for the most part, except:Downstairs is very rough. I think it is telling that the listing doesn't include photos of the basement bedrooms, just one general photo of the basement "living area". One of the bedrooms does not have a window and looks like an old storage closet, and the other has small window that is level with the driveway so cars drive right by your head. Both of these spaces are sparsely decorated, dim, and dreary. It is a little musty down there also, feels like a garage. Very different from the cozy and decorated feel of upstairs. It felt like the people who got assigned the basement sleeping area got the short end of the stick. I think that at the rate this place goes for, the basement needs to be properly finished. Or at least accurately shown. Overall a good stay and we would probably stay again, but maybe with a smaller party so no one has to use the basement rooms. The main sticking point for me is that we paid something like 1600 for 3 nights and half our party had to sleep in a musty basement that was not fully shown in the listing.

We were in Hood River for my son’s wedding. The house was perfect. Beautifully decorated and had Eve and more then we needed. The basement was the kids hang out. Great house!!!

Clean and Close to Everything

All of the reviews are accurate. This home was super clean and close to everything. It’s an older craftsman but kept very well. There are 2 bedrooms in the basement, one on the main level and one on the 2nd story. That’s one thing I thought would be helpful for a description to know with kids!

We were in town for a wedding. This house could not have been better. Location and views are beautiful. The house was so charming! I appreciated the house being as close to the original charm of a craftsman. Floors, molding, the doors. We had 7 of us and we all fit. Having multiple bathrooms was so nice. We watched the salmon fisherman in the morning from the back balcony and kite surfers in the afternoon. We walked to downtown many times. It is so close to everything. No more than 15 minutes to other places. Both Walmart and a delicious bakery above the armory were so convenient from this place. Highly recommend. We will be back to explore again. Thanks for making our trip great.

Elizabeth is a great host. She was concerned that the street construction would bother us and took the time to reach out so there were no surprises. It was all good. And the house & location were great. Morning coffee over the river view was brilliant. Great stay.

Beautiful property unkind host

We were in Hood River for a wedding that I was managing. The property is beautiful with breathtaking views. I am from AZ so the lush greenery was amazing. The property appears well maintained. That being said it is clearly an older house and we did have some plumbing issues. I would also like to note that two of the bedrooms are in the basement and not greatly appointed, it is unfinished and no pictures are posted here of it. My younger kids did not want to stay down there alone so we set them up in the living room which worked out since the toilet did backflow sewage into the shower upon its first use and whole the basement smelled awful. There are confusing and conflicting instructions about parking and the listed pullout was broken. My true concern is with the Host. When I called to report the backflow she did promptly return my call around 10:20 pm. But with a complete lack of customer service. I was accused of calling too late and of being drunk and cussed at when I answered her return call. A simple over flow didn't need a call until the morning but human sewage was coming out of the shower rendering bottom floor unusable. The wedding was the next morning and I was concerned about being able to prepare. Ultimately I refused service that evening because she was so aggressively rude. Someone sent a handy man anyway at 11pm who entered the home without permission and who was unable to fix it. She remained very rude the rest of my stay. The issue did get fixed the next day

Our daughter’s wedding weekend

This charming home is in a beautiful neighborhood and the location is perfect for waking into town. It easily accommodated our large extended family and was equipped with everything we needed. I was especially impressed with the kitchen! My daughter and I loved sitting in the breakfast nook, overlooking the sloped back yard, the Columbia river and Washington foothills.I look forward to returning for a girls weekend soon!

The property is beautiful. The location is excellent. I enjoyed staying in a Craftsman Style House that is authentic and well maintained. The yard is beautiful. Everything you need is provided. The property manager is very prompt and kind.

Perfect location & excellent back porch view!

Wonderful home. Back porch with amazing views of Mt Adams and Columbia River. Walked to Double mountain, our favorite brewery, several times :) Home is a classical, old house, but the kitchen is updated and well-stocked.

Fun getaway in a great neighborhood!

Our stay was very comfortable and relaxing. The house is old but charming, and it was perfect for our group. There were many amenities we enjoyed: a very well-stocked modern kitchen, more than ample towels and bathroom supplies, a great backyard, porch space in the front and back of the house, and an amazing view of the Columbia River and Mt. Adams. The neighborhood is perfect for walking and is close to many restaurants and shops as well as Children's Park (just a few blocks uphill). The only downside is that the freeway (I-84) is not far from the house, which you can hear when you're sitting on the back porch or in the backyard. But it's mostly white noise and we didn't hear it while we were indoors.

Hood River Stay

Beautiful neighborhood. The home was an older but classic old style (1930’s)construction. Beautiful remodeled kitchen. Sofa in front room need to be replaced. Just my opinion…The view is wonderful Downstairs below grade basement needs a new mattress. This is why 4 star rating. Bedding is absolutely critical for a 5 star rating and also a very easy upgrade

Uncleaned at check in, promised refund not made, nice craftsman house with view

While a beautiful Craftsman Home the check-in process was terrible. When we arrived exhausted from a wedding the day before the place had not been cleaned. It was evidently a screw up and the service worked hard to resolve the issue but it took 2 to 3 hours. A partial credit was suggested, but it never showed up. It was a fine house though with a great view of the Columbia River. I would hesitate to rent a property from Gorge key vacation rentals in the future.

We were in Hood River for our daughter's wedding. The location of the house made the entire stay enjoyable, central to downtown and the Heights. The home worked perfectly and had everything we needed.

Hood River beauty

Our family of 3 couples stayed at this beautiful home for a wedding at the orchard. Perfect place and each floor accommodated each couple. The location was perfect with everything needed in walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.
