A lush garden with covered deck and heater to read and enjoy the sounds of the stream and rain are just hard to beat. This walk out basement apartment is spacious and very clean with a modified kitchen including fridge coffee maker microwave and dish washer. The living area has a fold out sofa and huge tv great for movie time with family. My son said this is his favorite VRBO yet and spent hours reading on the lounger on the deck. A very quiet safe neighborhood with easy access to shopping and dining. Host is friendly and accommodating. It feels good to support home entrepreneurs like this. You can feel the pride in their hosting. Should we ever be back in Vancouver we would t hesitate to stay again.

This was a perfect place for our 5 day visit to Vancouver. Close to trails, tourist spots and city. Very peaceful and relaxing outdoor area. Our host was very accommodating and great at communicating. The beds were super comfy too!

I want to start by saying Sophia was helpful and responsive.That being said, I was very disappointed in the overall experience.We were traveling with another couple and one of them had mobility issues. even without mobility issues,it was a surprise that there were VERY steep steps down to get into the unit. It’s especially difficult with luggage. There was also a garden hose holder that stuck out and one of us hit our head going back up.This was advertised as a 2 bedroom 2 bath unit. One bedroom and bath was okay, the other were not attached and had to walk always to get to it. The 2nd bath was not usable-was a big disappointment and all 4 had to share one bath.There was no temperature control as was controlled by host-not acceptable.There were several steps within the unit as well which could be a hazard.There was no coffee maker or coffee pods, no stovetop or oven-only a microwave.We loved the neighborhood but this unit was a safety hazard and would not recommend.I do not think it should be listed without divulging these details.

However, we’d like to clarify a few points for future guests. The private entrance has only 6–8 exterior steps, and for guests with mobility concerns, we are happy to show an alternative step-free access upon request. The suite includes two clean, fully equipped bathrooms, both of which were available during your stay. It is also stocked with a coffee maker and complimentary coffee pods. While local short-term rental regulations do not allow us to provide a full-size stove, the suite is equipped with a microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, wine fridge, kettle, toaster, and other kitchen essentials. We are also happy to provide a portable cooktop upon request. Regarding the temperature, guests are welcome to let us know their preferred setting at any time, and we adjust it promptly to ensure their comfort. We strive to provide an accurate listing with detailed photos and descriptions so guests know exactly what to expect. Thank you again for your stay, and we wish you safe and happy future travels.

this place was absolutely perfect so accommodating and right in the heart of everything. It was nice and quiet and perfect for a group of families. The garden is absolutely stunning and the calm sounds of the water is just breathtaking. We very much enjoyed our day.

Staying at this property was amazing! Very clean, loved all the rooms, Sophia was such an amazing communicator and walked us through every step before arrival, during our stay, and even after we left! The kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with everything needed while away from home. At one point I even asked for a fan, which they brought down immediately, such excellent service! We loved the couch in the living room so much we are thinking of getting one for our own home! The parking was great, the property was absolutely gorgeous! We had quite a packed itinerary and unfortunately didn’t utilize all the amenities available, such as the hot tub, but we did wander down and look at it along with the fire pit and the creek which was just lovely! We could not recommend this property any more!!! If you are considering booking definitely do it!!! Thank you Sophia and family for hosting us!

Hot tub was not functioning despite being in listing. Shower did not drain so always standing in a few inches of dirty water. No glasses - only cups and wine glasses. There are a lot of changes in floor levels and the warnings for tripping hazards need to be placed at eye level - not on the ground. Location is great and nice to have parking. Lots of space.

Sophia and Logan were great. Immediate communications, and helpful hints. The property was more than as advertised, considering that the sound of rushing water behind the house was a big bonus sitting on the deck. Absolutely beautiful setting surrounded by forest. Highly recommended.

Family friendly accommodation with a superb outdoor area. All rooms are a good size and comfortable. Our only problem was the kitchen and this is on us for not reading the listing fully. We didn't realize that there wasn't a stove and oven and only a bar fridge until a few days prior to check in and we had a pasta loving toddler with us. Sophia was kind enough to allow us to use a Coleman stove in the backyard to cook the pasta. Sophia was very accommodating and responsive.

I would highly recommend that place for people loving forests. You walk out the door and there are those giant trees right above you, and the sound of rushing water drowns everything..., no photo can do it justice, it has to be seen. The feeling is you are in a cabin in the woods, not in a city. Beats any seaside view. The place is spacious, you do not see the hosts, but they are very responsive - they lowered the temperature when we asked (the controls are above), there was bear spray on the counter when we arrived. P.S. I have also to mentioned that by accident (probably have added too much detergent) the dishwasher caused some flooding and I assume quite a bit of additional cleaning, but the hosts were chill about it.

My family of 5 chose this property (rather than a hotel) for the extra space, comfort, location and beautiful surroundings. We absolutely loved that it was tucked away in a green space, while very accessible to anything that you want to do while visiting Vancouver. The location of this property was a quick and easy drive to Capilano Bridge, Stanley Park, Canada Place and the highway leading to Whistler. Inside the house, we made use of the mini fridge for beverages or leftovers from eating out. After a long and busy day of sightseeing, we enjoyed relaxing in the backyard. The sound of the creek behind the beautiful garden was very peaceful. Even though we didn't plan to do laundry on our vacation, the washer and dryer came in handy after our dip in the hot tub and a full day of hiking. The host was very responsive and friendly if we had any questions throughout our stay. My family would absolutely come back to stay at this house for our next visit to Vancouver. We highly recommend this property to others.

Nice location

Overall a nice place and location. The only negative was at times it was noisy since the accommodations are in the basement and the owner lives above. You could hear people walking heavily and hear them talking as well.
